Thread: What does this mean?

Hey all!

I was walking around a room with a soldier that had been killed in action memorial service in progress. I remember thinking, "what is going on?", at which point i figured out i was "not in human flesh". At the front of the room, my old friend from the 82nd Airborne was delivering my eulogy. I can remember him exactly saying, "He was one the best soldiers in the 82nd, and he will be missed.". My thoughts on this also point to how he might have been my squad leader...a strong feeling i got while thinking about it.
No more than 2 hours after i awoke, i was driving to work and telling my friend about the dream on my cell. I look up and here goes this
white hearst down the road in seriously the middle of nowhere. About a week later, i was talking to my friend from the dream(for the first time in a long while might i add), he asked me when i was coming back to the 82nd,
and that he is a squad leader now. Whoa? What is going on here? lol. I am going back into the military as of last week, but as a Pharmacy Specialist, not an Infantryman.
I do find it hard to see him saying what he said about me also. Hes not the kind of guy for that, and im not the kind of guy to be the "best". Which leads me to believe i did something considered "great"?
Now the BIG question is...should i go back as an infantryman and try to get to his unit? Is it a warning, or telling me what should be done to recieve such an outcome? As in, do i save lives, ect. Or maybe it is just a dream...but it bothered me a bit much to be honest. Any advice? questions? I'd appreciate any help on the matter, not sure what to think about it
