      NDE vs WILD

Please explain the differences, and the similarities?

By this i mean more then just "both are from the brain". I mean go in depth, even to the feelings you get. Example...NDE's people are almost always changed by their expierience, the sight you see, the feelings you have (bliss, loved), etc. Wild the people are not changed this way. What makes a NDE more profound then a WILD, what re the different brain activity's that goes on to make the feelings so different? WILD is waking up after so and so hours and going back to sleep after (30??) minutes with the music, which turns into an LD (hence wiLD). Also, explain why the brain tells us we are dead if we go passed this invisible line, or a life review, and why we always come back with the same message "love and light". Sorry, i don't know much about WILD to explain that, so to the WILD experts, the same thing goes for the WILDS.

Anyway the NDE vs WILD thing just recently made me curious for some reason...i normally don't like thinking about NDE, or death, or dreaming anymore.

I have no idea, I've never researched it. But a WILD is just a lucid dream where you retain consciousness throughout the entire experience, regardless of how you attain it.

NDE's are a much more powerful and life changing expierence than a WILD.

When you are death (or just before?) the brain releases a great amount of Dimethyltryptamine which is a hallucinogen.

Dimethyltryptamine (or DMT) is the most powerful hallucinogen, and its created in our brain

Life review is a very common thing in NDE's and a lot of spiritual beliefs.

I could give my explanation for it, but I would like to hear yours.

Why do you think these people come back with a message of light and love?
And why do you think we expience a "Life review"?

If you are interested in NDE's then watch this documentary from BBC

      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I9-XxBAEsQ&fmt=18

Its in 6 parts and lasts about an hour.

      Good luck!

I don't follow NDE very much, but i know alot about it from here and there. If it's our brain then it's quite intresting. I don't know everything, so i will not assume NDE is the spirit leaving the body, or the brain, because i don't know and i'm not a close minded person.

      Anyway
i made this thread because people say NDE's are just WILDS, or OBE's are just WILDS, so i figure i'd make a thread and let the simulaitys, and differences be known.

I don't really know, i guess because deep down inside us we know the ultimate goal is to love, and be loved back? if NDE is your brain, then it's a safety mechinism(sp), because that invisible line of no return once you cross you are dead, which means there is far more about the brain that we don't even know yet. Obviously your brain knows when it's going to die, so it gives you a chance to die early if you choose to. The spirits you see are just dream characters, but with the DMT it feels so much more. People smoke DMT and they expierience the same feelings as NDErs i'm guessing. What is weird is when you have a NDE you can't stay there but stay before the line, you also know every single thing that there ever is to know.

Life review, well that one is tricky. I guess once you die your brain gives you 1 last chance to see what you have done with your life, we cry because we know what emotions feel like, and we know exactly what body language is like, mix them together and you can easily put your shoes in someone elses. Hell, i sometimes cry during a movie because of a sad part in it, i'm an emotional guy. It's something like that We know emotions, and we know body language, and we know the situation, or we can understand the situation, thus the feelings that you did something wrong, and why you get emotional during a life review.

      Now your turn.
