Me and a friend have the same thoughts.

Not only once but it keeps happening, we're thinking about the same thing at the same moment. We're both guys and we're not gay or whatever, just mates but does this mean that we have a specific connection? Maybe we're destined for particular things...? It sounds weird and etc. right now but give me some opinions please?

Me and my friend sometimes spoke aloud together precisely the same words. Like twins in movies.

I think that means that one of you likes another one (not in a romantic manner) much and wants to "tune in". So he's unconsciously trying to think or talk like another one would, and he's studied another one well enough to be able to predict it very well, so he's rather successful.

I wonder who of you is doing it, and who is not.

We have it both all the time, but the weird thing is that we learned each other from the internet, we are distant friends, so that's what's weird about it. I don't know him that long but it seems like a connection. We have it all the time, like I tell him something random, and he hits enter 2 secs after me and it's the freaking same thing. I'm not talking about just one time.

My cousin and i are like that too. we have the same exact dreams, and whenever we're sitting quiet for a second, we'll ask eachother what the other one is thinking and it will turn out to be the same thing. I think a lot of the time when you're giving off the same kind of energies as other people your subconscious can pick it up. kinda cool, huh? some people might think it's weird, but there are a lot of things we don't understand of our own subconscious minds.

on a -sort of- unrelated note (unrelated only because i'm positive this was just coincidence) one time during my choir class, we were trying to decide on what song we were going to sing for a christmas concert. About half the class raised their hand to pick a song, so the teacher said "ok pick a number between one and one hundred" and at the same time, me and about 4 other girls said aloud at the same time "27"

      the teacher's number was 27

      trippy

EDIT: i didn't read your post about you talking over the internet until just now. hm... weird, i don't know what it is then!

That would make the world so paranoid! Just imagine, other people could hack into your mind and read your most secret thoughts Like a boss at work whom you hate, he'd fire you after knowing that, or after he'd learn that you think of something else instead of working No lies possible! Or worse, any girl\boy (whatever preference) would instantly know that you're attracted and what you just thought!
Such a future is not for the faint of heart...

Better not to reveal any telepathy

Well, I've heard that women who room together or live in the same house eventually synchronize their monthly periods after a while, the explanation for this I've heard was secreted pheremones by each person.

Here's a Derren Brown clip that you may find interesting.

Well I doubt that hacking into someones mind would be easy even if you were able to use telepathy in mastery level mind is a lot more complicated than open book, which most of us here know.

But if you wanna think it from telepathy point of view, it would be quite logical that you send telepathic messages all the time with broadcast. If you are attracted to someone and think about it, the person who you are attracted to might perceive your thoughts and feel that you are attracted to him/her. This would be more empathy than telepathy though.
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

It's probably just the result of you and your friends spending too much time together. You probably all listen to the same music, watch the same shows and movies, maybe go to the same school and are in the same class.

When you spend time with people, you begin to pick up some of their habbits and mannerisms, along with certain words or sayings. It's unavoidable that your group would think alike.

It's called Hivemind. It comes with being on the internet too long. Get used to it, it's not gay as long as balls don't touch.

The more time you spend with someone the more often you read someones mind.

      Though the internet ...
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

You might not be reading each others' minds, but are just so similar that you thing of the same things under similar conditions.

If it really is a case of telepathy, it might not signal any real connection, from what I have learned about psionics and other types of phenomena, you can create such a link with anyone.
