Well, if not for me, maybe for the OP. He wanted to know what people know about seeing auras. Might as well give him a visual interpretation of what someone who sees aura actually sees. :P (AND DEAR LORD SHIFT! TRIPLE POSTING? Shame on you.)

I just asked for a picture. ;_____;
LOL some are getting mighty defensive about this!
I knew I'd seen a picture somewhere:

See the light around the dude? - That's what it is like for me but the thickness of it is a little thinner than that depicted in the picture.
Alas, common sense, yet all are guilty of acting to the contrary. Never underestimate the incredible power of the human ego to transcend logic. ;)Quote:

lol
What's the point of seeing auras anyway?
It'd be cool if I could see my Aura :P
lol, i know people (including me) that can see auras. None of them is able to see their own auras. it's weird.
This is soooo funny... As our art teacher just taught us about these "auras". He was just laughing, and he showed us that you can see an "aura" around every object, if you just mildly try to and the colours are right. You see, the cells in the eye that receive colour waves and convert them into vision, can get kinda messed up if you want to. Like, if you take a look at the sun, it leaves a mark on your vision. Thatīs just some of your eye cells getting mad..
It had something to do with the natural activation of the opposite colour of the colour you are seeing. We were looking at this green object (i think), and when we looked at it long enough, we saw that it was glowing red (cuz green activates the red receptors or whatever too). And there you have it! These auras are just the cause of the nature of the eye.
Be rational
Well I have some visual snow and a bit over-active afterimage effect. So I can see "auras". That's why I said it could be a medical condition.
But the opposite colour of the object is not the aura...
