after my mom told me this story my experiences stopped almost immediately and I have not had them since...but it has always nagged at me somewhere years later why these figures would be around both when I was young and at a death...

hmm, you are one of the only people who said that they saw them in daylight. Most see them at night or in their bedroom which would lead me to believe that they hallucinations or SP, but, yours is different. As for the part about, waiting for me, well, creepy

i saw mine late at night in florida at my grandparents while playing basketball.. and then inside the house later that night... but i was on some weird prescribed cough medicine... and then later i saw them before going to bed a few times in my house.. so creepy. i always got a negative feeling about them.

Actually, it's pretty common for people to see them in broad daylight.

I just did a search on people dying and shadow people, and all those accounts are strikingly similar you that one you posted. People who are dying generally see large groups of shadow people, just like you described there. Freaky...

My friend sees them all the time both during the day and night. She says she mostly sees them while she's driving, like they just run across the road. Freaks me out.

That's problematic and could cause an accident But seriously, does she try to swirve to avoid them or do they cross just fine?

Oh, I know! I worry about her driving, but she says she's so used to them it doesn't really bother her. She says for a split second it kind of scares her, but then she realizes they're shadow people and just continues driving.

I just hope she never confuses shadow people for real people...

oh boy, that would be bad if she confuses the two, although, shadow people are well shadows, so, I don't see how she can confuse them

this is very interesting, though I wonder why my mom could see them too? She wasnt dying as well. thank you for the link.

I am compelled to add a comment to this dead thread for future viewers because of what I learned about ‘shadow people’ through experience.
These creatures would always attack me, claw and bite, while I’m sleeping - like the spirits attacking Arnold in the movie Conan The Barbarian. No one here has mentioned anything like that which I find a little curious or maybe I missed it, but after years of dealing with them I realized they would come into my field of existence when I was aligned due south during my sleep because of the energy fields at play. When I changed my bed position so the headboard was on the east wall it all stopped. It is my conclusion that energy fields affect our ability to interact with these ‘shadow people’ and the less we do, the better! After all, they do bite! I have also realized energy fields affect the quality of our dreams so by changing the direction we sleep can influence the strength of a lucid dream!

I also want to thank Skydreamer707 for the link to the shadowpeople.org website. There's some really creepy stories there!
