No one has any links?

Reiki cannot be learned from a website, you need to learn it from a master. Mainly due to the fact that one needs to receive attunements from the reiki master to be able to channel the universal energy. Personally I think reiki is a waste of money, just learn energy manipulation and figure out how to heal on your own.

Any recommendations on energy manipulation books?

No idea on books, but look in the New Age section at any book store, and I'm sure you'll find at least one.

Go to a energy healer's office. Or whatever they call it. And talk to them. Ask them where they learned it, and so on.

reiki is not a complete waste of time, with it you can do things like heal over a distance which is impossible with normal energy techniques. If you want to learn to heal without reiki there are only two things to do:
1. Learn to feel and manipulate the energy body
2. Focus your energy on the intention of healing

There are books out there that should help but unfortunately i havnt read any.. im a reiki student myself

You'll need to get a series of attunements to open you up to the universal energy flow. Once you receive them and learn how to feel and give the energy it's an amazing feeling! Check out www.reiki.org for info and they have links to Reiki Masters all over the U.S that offer classes and attunements. Just click on "Reiki Classes".

Thanks, I'm actually in Canada, but, I'll see if they have some in my area

Good question, supposdly white light entered the guy's brow chakra and he attuned because of it. I really really don't really think you need to have someone there but that you could learn it on your own provided you have some videos to demonstrate the proper procedure. The reason I say this is because it seems back then, this idea of having to attune people to reiki was to fill up the classes instead

Yeah that does sound possible. Thanks for answering, this is an interesting topic.

Reiki attunements seem to be viral in nature. The energy sent during attunement acts like a virus but instead of breaking down your systems and field it stimulates them to receive and channel energy easier. There is really no special thing about reiki, the same or better could be done by a non attuned psi user with a bit of practice. Plus who knows how it has mutated since it was first created, or what has been added to it, you wont ever catch me letting some stranger manipulate my subtle systems in such a way.
