      Dream Sharing Question

I'm kind of on the fence about this whole dream sharing thing. I want to believe it's true, and there are many people who say they've done it, but it seems pretty impossible, and there's no absolute proof as to wether it's possible or not.

I figure the best way to relieve my skepticism would be to experience it myself. So, to those who claim they can share dreams with people, or "Dreamwalk," or whatever you want to call it, would it be possible provide a method of any sort I could try to use to acheive this myself? And if possible, an explanation WHY it might work?
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?

I believe its possible. Why do I say that? Whenever someone gives an account of something, I trust it unless it's proven otherwise and the evidence for shared dreaming seems to be good. Anyways, most people who have dream shared before, basically said something in the dream and then when they woke up, they shared the words with each other, so, that they can verify that it really happened. From what I've read, to do it, once you are lucid in a dream, imagine a tunnel and at the end of it, you'll emerge in whoever's dream it is you want. It sounds pretty simple and I plan to try it myself whenever I can get lucid at will, maybe get another family member lucid with me

I've heard of that tunnel method too, except with a bridge. (Same concept)
But logically, I don't see why that would work. I'll still try it, because you never know... But it doesn't make much sense.

hmm, I think the tunnel/bridge method relies on the idea that when you dream, you enact it in the astral plane, but, that's only a guess which does seem to explain why it would work, because, the tunnel is similar to a teleportation, etc.... I'll be giving shared dreaming a try once I can become lucid

A tunnel or bridge is as good a method as any. I've been having trouble finding my targets. The door method isn't working for me. I even tried a divining rod, but had trouble finding a proper stick. Damn sticks kept breaking in my hands.

I'll try a bridge next time, although not a literal one. I think I'll try focusing on a link between me and my target. Otherwise I spend too much time focusing on the method I'm using to find them.
