Looking from a skeptics side, you probably saw it and didnt think about it until you woke up and saw it again.
Looking from a believers side, whoever sent it to you could have passed along the thought and you might have picked it up. Pretty doubtful though.
There once was a psycho analist/paranormalist named Nandor Fodor. He had a theory that when you are thought of (only if you are receptive enough) that a person can pick up on such thoughts. Due to daily mental duties it is not filtered until we dream. It may have been only an email, but there was an intent behind it which had your name on it.Quote:

Some people have more accurate premonition dreams than others. Some people will have dreams of events, others of a place they have never been. For most people these dreams tend to happen the next day, or within a few days. For other people these dreams don't happen for several years. Some people can actually feel a difference between a premonition dream and a normal dream (if you can call any dream normal).
