      obe 2 ld

I believe in both in OBEs and LDs. Since I've experienced both. But I'm really more interested in LDs because it's less "physical". So my question is once "I'm out" and/or in the "void", what's the best and easiest way to change it to a lucid dream? Thanks

What I often do, if I ever use a technique to induce an OBE from sleep (which I believe is basically the same as a dream anyway), and I find myself in a void without much dreamcontent, is rub my hands and go for a hike. Once I start walking around usually some dream images will start appearing and the rubbing part makes sure I dont wake up from this often fragile state of sleep. From there you basically have entered the LD and should be able to continue. Hope this helps, good luck exploring!

When I "wake up" in the void, I usualy can't see anything I understand this is common. I guess I'm suposto pry open my eyes, is this right? By which time I should be imersed in the dream world, does this sound about right?

Opening the eyes of your dream-body at this time, can actually make you wake up from the dream, so I would not recommend this. Just realise that during dreams, if you dont "see" anything, the cause is not your eyes being closed (because your physical eyes are always closed when you are asleep). Just be patient and start walking around untill you start seeing stuff, then try going with that flow. It might take a wile, or fail alltogether at times, so be patient. Practice makes perfect.
