If you were told you were going to die...

Hello, this is my first post here(hopefully it is in the correct spot) and I thought id share a dream I had last night and gather some information on how to interpret it. Let me first state that about 8 yeas ago, my grandmother died who I was very close with and loved dearly. I keep her in my thoughts but honestly I cant think of why I had this dream.

I'm from a small town in Tennessee and in my dream I was headed there from Kentucky which I now live in. My 17 year old nephew was driving(has never drove a vehicle to my knowledge), I was in the passenger seat, and my little sisters boyfriend, who has been a friend of mine for about 3 years was in the back seat. Oddly, I knew we were headed to my mothers house(used to be my grandmothers house) but the scenery was way off, there was sand and water, the road was very wet but there was no sign of rain. Eventually my nephew lost control and we crashed.

No damage was done to any of us, and we were joking about the wreck. We had crashed into some thick woods and was found by an old client of mine(i am a tattoo artist by the way) to which I had no connection to outside of my work. He gave me a ride to my mothers house and for some reason my nephew and friend from there on was out of the dream. And this is where it got scary.

All my uncles and aunts were at my mothers, and everything was going very normal to the point I honestly didn't realize i was dreaming, it felt so real. I was trying to play a song on the guitar that I had wrote and for some reason had no luck, which is strange because I had no problem in the real world.

In the living room by the front door is a closet, and out of the blue my grandmother stepped out, her skin was white and dark around the eyes. Everyone froze and I was at this point, froze in fear. She then looked at me and said "I will see you tomorrow" and began to cry very loudly, once i told her she was dead she began hugging her sons in a way I took as saying good bye. Then was gone.

I normally don't have bad dreams, and the ones I have usually involve monsters and honestly I sort of enjoy those. But this one I will never forget and would love some input on how to interpret it, I'm not a superstitious person but i cant get out of my head this could be a premonition to my death.

-PS sorry for the long post

Hope you're still with us...kidding. Your subconscious believes that today you were going to do something that would bring back memories of your grandma.
What were your plans for today that would have brought back such memories?
Did you drive past her old home? Eat at her favorite restaurant? Buy something that she would have liked or bought for you at one time?

The crying in your dream was symbolic of your crying about her not being with you anymore. Many times people who have lost a loved one see their loved one crying in a dream.

Yes im still alive but the roads have been wet all day so I've been very careful. I had put alot of thought into it yesterday, and while in bed that night, I was reading an old readers digest book(actual hardback) of various history that my grandmother gave me, also my cat had got a quilt she made dirty that night. My wife gave the idea that the look of dissapointment(i may have not included this in my first post) could have been from the dirty quilt. I do not live in TN anymore, so other than the book and quilt i have nothing to remind me of her. Her home has been repossesed so I do not go there anymore. But you have a very interesting take on dreams, thank you.

also my everyday is the same, I get up. Eat breakfast and go to work from 12pm to 11pm, stay up to 2-3am and go to bed. rinse, wash, repeat.
