Question Is this still a lucid dream? Please read.

I don't know how to explain it but, would it be possible to encounter another lucid dreamer(total stranger by the way who happens to be aware that he/she is lucid dreaming also) during my lucid dream?.... is it possible to connect with them? it's like being in the REAL world where you could actually meet and connect with other peopleorSOULS, by all means probably real people too. i was told that lucid dreaming is when our souls separates from our bodies and it wonders off else where?

This is probably not my first lucid dream but since it's the only lucid dream i could remember clearly and i am still asking for a scientific explanation.

At first i wasn't aware that i was asleep my alarm clock went off from my cellphone, i got up like what i always do in a weekday morning (wake up and get ready for work), i flicked my light switch on but does not turn on and i tried flicking it on/off various times and nothing happens. then i looked back at my bed i happen to see myself sound asleep. i was a bit confused and scared so i started to scream but no one heard me. i probably stood staring at my sleeping self for a few minutes and thought that maybe i am my soul and i have separated from my body so i must be lucid dreaming? i remember reading that i could walk through walls in a lucid dream so i walked through walls around my house and stumbled across my brothers bedroom. and he was awake too, him and his gf were getting ready for work. i tried talking to them but later on figured out that they could not see or hear me instead i just sat on his bed listening to their conversation. then i realized i wasn't the only one listening in the room some guy was also there basically eaves dropping too. thought he couldn't see or hear me either but he looked at me and asked who i was? and i asked the exact question back at him. he just replied back saying i got bored so i decided to just go to random homes and listen to random peoples conversation. and then he got up saying well i have to wake up soon then disappeared through the walls. then i woke up thinking i had left my alarm clock on snooze a few times now and i only had a few minutes to get ready for work.

that night after work during dinner i told my brother i had a lucid dream since he was the one who had introduced it. i told him i dreamt of him and his gf talking about planning a surprise party for a friend and how someone by the name Grace wanted to rent a limo for the birthday girl. My brother exclaims that around 5am in the morning that he was talking about the exact things with his gf while getting ready for work. so i'm a little confused. would that be a lucid dream? or was i a soul(a ghost of some sort even) in the real world? if so how could i have known what their conversation was if i wasn't in that moment in time.

if you have any idea what it was please let me know i'm dying to know! I have never dreamed of anything like that ever after that.

Absolutely not. Its all in your mind. But whats the difference anyway? If you think your encountering someone else whos LDing, then enjoy the illusion. Thats the whole point right?

EDIT: To be honest i didnt even read your whole post. But the conversation was external stimuli feeding into your dream.
      EDIT2: ^after I read it all.

Yes, Marcee, it's possible. People share dreams all the time, but this is more an example of Remote Viewing during an Out of Body Experience (OBE), since your brother was awake. I wrote more on that just yesterday on one of the threads here in this section. I experience these a lot with family members. For some reason, I always see one son when he's on vacation, usuallly out 4x4-ing, and ask him about it later, and he really did do the things I saw, like cross a dry river bed. Maybe because he's relaxed then, so we connect more easily, I don't know. I don't think I ever had another dreamer pop in at the same time though... that's funny!

One time, I was OBE and floating near the ceiling in some guy's bedroom. I don't even know who it was. I was just watching him sleep from up there near the ceiling. But he became aware I was there, and threw a glass of water at me, saying, "No privacy!" It startled me awake, and I was choking and spluttering as if I'd really gotten a face full of water. I think he was probably someone I'd met on the internet that day and was curious enough about to go travelling. I think being up near the ceiling makes it really clear what's happening, but sometimes, I'm just standing in the room too, but no one can see me.

You'll have it happen again, I'm quite sure.

yes i guess i should just enjoy the whole concept but it did come up as a nightmare in the beginning but not really. who wouldn't get freaked out if you happen to watch yourself sleeping. haha. it's still quite strange though. and meeting another LD. you think he exist somewhere?
