Woman Shot in a Brown Tweed Suit; Aug. 14, 2009

I laid down for a nap or just to have awake visions...

I had this hypnagogic dream:

I saw a young looking woman with blonde hair who was facing me, and I know there was a man to her left, but I really didn't notice anything about him, as she drew all my attention. Her hair seemed about shoulder length, and I think she had bangs or partial bangs, though I'm not sure, it might have just been blown in her face a bit. She was wearing a beautiful wool suit with a longish A-line skirt and a fitted jacket that also had a sort of capelet over the shoulder area. The suit was a brown tweed or plaid, with subtle shading, looked like expensive wool. She wore high brown boots with it. She looked lovely in the outfit. I suddenly noticed what appeared to be a red flower on her right shoulder, only it seemed to be getting bigger as I watched, and I realized it was blood and it was spreading. I said, "Oh, my God, she's been shot!" The image instantly disappeared, and I heard my guide's voice say, "That's right." EOD

I have a strong sense this is probably precognitive. The woman was not anyone I know or recognize as far as I know. I think by the outfit, it must be Autumn when this occurs. Beyond that, it's a matter of waiting and seeing if anything that sounds like this comes up in the news or happens to anyone I come across.

The next thing that came was my guide's voice saying, "Blind men do their running indoors." Puzzled, I thought about that a bit, and said, "Do you mean on a treadmill?" He answered, "Yes, exactly!"

Okaaaay.... suggesting indoor exercise for me since it's hot outside? Or???

Sometimes he's so cryptic!

And of course, that ensured I did not actually go to sleep. All the better to sleep well tonight, I suppose!

Maybe he meant it as a metaphor, like, those unable to see the truth spend their energy in their lies? ... I mean if there's a real guide there (be it some part of your higher self or not), there has to be a deeper meaning than the idea that blind men use treadmills? .

Well, no, actually, we're working on my health issues, so he may have meant quite literally that if a blind man can find a way to run for his exercise (running being scary and dangerous, I would think, for a blind man), then surely this lazy bones of a woman can find a way to exericise in her air conditioned house even if it's too hot and humid outside! I did do my calisthenics after I got done posting. And today I'll do dancing instead.

My guide is a real person, albeit not physically present, and has a sense of humor that's a bit quirky, but I generally figure it out.

Sometimes meanings are deep; sometimes they're merely practical. All should lead to positive change and growth, ultimately.
