i need some help with focus

ive been trying to practice psi channeling, and electrokinesis for quite a while now, but i have alot of trouble keeping my concentration long enough to feel anything. i try various meditation methods (void, 100 count, etc.). and i still cant seem to calm myself. sometimes i come out of it more scattered then when i sat down.
theres been so much going on it feels like my head just wont shut up.

can i get some help with this, or is there i should do? (and ive looked all over the place for tips and techs)
