Meeting a real person in your dreams?

I had a dream about a girl who doesn't live anywhere near me. I knew her name in my dream, and when I facebook searched her after I woke up..she was there! Same name, same face, same clothing. I have never seen this girl in my life! Has this ever happened to anyone before?

      Precognitive Dreams

I once saw a woman in a dream whom I didn't know. I saw her in vivid detail, noted her hairstyle, the colors and pattern in her blouse, etc. She was, in the dream, standing at my front door when I opened it after the doorbell rang. She said something like, "I don't like her."

I woke up and said, "I don't know her!" I heard my spirit guide say, "You will!"

Some days later, a woman I knew somewhat on a writer's workshop on the internet, but had never met, or seen a photo of, wrote and invited me to come to a Christmas party for her writer friends at her home in the next state over... she was only about thirty minutes away from me. I accepted happily, and then said, "Hey, why wait until then, why don't you come over to my house for dessert and coffee?" We made the plans, and imagine my amazement when the doorbell rang, and I answered it, and there was the woman from my dream, dressed in the exact same clothing with all the detail I'd noted in her blouse, with her hair fixed the exact same way. As we talked that evening, we got to discussing someone on the email list that we both didn't like. It was an interesting experience for sure, and I've had many others since then that are similar, but that one remains the most dramatic, for sure.

The party at her house was fun, too, with lots of good writing discussion, and a friend of hers who is an amateur magician did some tricks for us, and he was very good at it!

I never did tell her about the dream, because I was afraid at the time it would frighten her. It is always hard to know whether or not to do that, especially at times when I've had precognitive dreams about someone that tell me they're going to be ill or even die. How to know what to do with that information??? It's kind of weird, really.

I think the odd thing with Dyonisio's dream though is puzzling over whether you would have looked the person up at all without the dream? So does that really quite qualify as precognitive, or is it something that actually made you do something? Time is such a weird thing when you start playing with dreams, especially psi (psychic) dreams.

      Fun discussion though!

      Wow! That's odd.
I would have never ever looked her up in a million years. That's what's really creeping me out. I have no connection with her whatsoever. Maybe we'll end up meeting somewhere down the line, though I must say the dream ended on not so good terms. Not sure if I want to meet her.

I had another weird thing happen last month. I dreamed of an old childhood friend, and wondered where she is now and what's going on in her life. So, I googled her maiden name, which it turns out she's still using, and found out her father had just died, like the day before, and some of what had happened in my dream was, after I knew that, obviously about funeral preparations. I left a note for her on the funeral parlor guestbook page, but haven't heard anything back, and I'm not sure the funeral parlor actually gave her my email addy, and I don't have hers. I'll wait a bit since she's grieving, and write her a snailmail letter, as I found she is now living in the same house where she lived when we grew up. We were inseparable during grammar school years. But it was odd that I dreamed about her right when her dad died. Maybe being back in that house meant I was on her mind, because we played there so much, and we shared my rowboat and her two horsepower motor, since neither was much good without the other. We can have shared dreams with people, and I think that's what happened.

I don't know if I'd have looked up a total stranger like that though! You were brave to even go that far. Maybe it was just to show you that you can dream something real and verifiable. Yes, I think that's probably it!

Hmm...that's interesting. I wonder if you two will really meet eachother somewhere and it will be like "deja vu" for both of you. THAT would be incredible to see! And what happened at the end of the dream that made you not want to talk to her? Well, keep us informed as to what you're going to do.
      ...And then to dream...
