Anyone else blow up their alarm clocks?

I go through about 2-3 brand new digital alarm clocks a year, and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

Woke up the other night to see it was 0:17 o'clock. Definite reality check moment! Then I saw the minutes were counting down seconds, and the hours were counting minutes. Went back to sleep and the next morning it was even more messed up, flickering gibberish.

My clock is always right beside my head while i sleep. But this last time I also had phone beside my bed, and that got messed up as well.

Just for fun I'm considering the idea that I fried them with some kind of brainwave EMP in my dreams.

But does this happen to anyone else?

I've had a few go bollocks on me, one where the time was 3 hours ahead after on night leading me to believe it was half 10 rather than quarter past 7 but nothing like you've said.

Oddly enough, yeah, this happens to me.

When I was selling jewelry, we had watches. There are a few people who, for whatever reason, just have a little more electricity in them or something, because no matter what they do, the watches run too fast (even when the watch maker fixes them to go as slow as possible). It's some odd physiological thing, since I'm that way and my dad is too. I can't wear watches.

Most of my electronics break more frequently, as well...it's horrible because it's very costly. I don't treat them badly. The power sources and/or batteries usually just wear out much faster or blow up. Then there are smoke alarms...no matter where I sleep, at my own house, a relative's, close to the ocean, or in the mountains, they go off when I sleep with them. So I just have to rip the batteries out. Sometimes all the ones in the house go off at the same time, including carbon monoxide alarms which doesn't even make sense. I don't know if electronics hate me or I'm just bad luck. But it almost always happens when I'm asleep, so maybe your theory has something to it?
