Out of Body Experience. |
i was a little tired and i crashed at about mid afternoon on the couch. i never felt myself fall to sleep i just felt like i was getting more and more tired as i layed there. it started to get rely uncomfortable and my head started to feel like it was a ton. i tried to turn over but i couldn't move at all. i opened my eyes and i saw my 2 friends in the room talking to each other, and i tried my hardest to get up and i felt my self lifting up but i couldn't feel my body..(hard to explain this part) everything i saw was in frames as i turned and got out of the couch, almost like a slide show. it felt as tho my head was still stuck to the couch even tho i had gotten up but the pressure from my head forced me back down (into my body?) and i layed for a little longer and got up fine. i ran to my friends and verified that they actually were in the room talking about a video game like i had seen so i couldn't have been sleep! this was the strangest thing that ive ever experienced, any have any type of explanations?? |

ya gwan fok wid de Baron? ye gotta nodda ting comin. (Formerly known as Baking Nomad.)
ive had a few obes but nothing like this. plus how could i still see and hear everything in the "real" world |
It was a dream. You say they were in the same room talking together, you can still hear them when you are asleep. People in coma's can still hear the person talking to them. |
but i kould see too |
So you have a choice of what to believe. Or you can just say, it is what it is. |
It was an evil ghost pulling your soul out of your body to try and take it for itself. |
well i had acually trried to do them, so i wasnt uncomfortable and i was more free...unless projection and obes arent the same thing |

I've experienced this many many times. It's not an OBE. You enter a trancelike state during sleep paralysis and hypnogogia, very similar to being under hypnosis. If you struggle to fight sleep paralysis, you will often find yourself in an FA type of experience, that a lot of people believe to be OBEs or APs or whatever. Really, call it what you want and believe what you want. But when I'm WILDing, I can literally be inside of a lucid dream, open my real eyes and look around my bedroom, close my eyes and continue the dream as though it had never stopped. This is a very controlled form of WILD, where you have more connection to the real world while you are asleep. Often this happens when there are people in the room with you, and their voices etc. make you aware of the physical world while you are in that trancelike hypnotic state. |
