Hmm, I see images every once in a while, but never messages. |

Recently when I close my eyes randomly I see half-vivid images or phrases. Before I would close my eyes and see nothing but black like normal but now I just see these small little words that I can hardly make out. |

Hi I'm new, well new to posting, this is my second EVER post on here (the first was a retarded one in the "Corrupt my wish" section and I don't want to be remembered by it |

It's called your imagination, it's just that it's kinda broken in most people, like we have two visions inner vision and outer vision and because of TV or I don't know what, we totally lost the inner vision. People who don't lose their inner vision are the geniuses like Albert Einstein and Nikola Tesla who put their inner vision to use to create experiments.. thats how Einstein discovered general relativity.. I guess your lucky that somehow you haven't lost it.. maybe you don't watch any TV? :p |

You're right, I don't watch any TV at all, probably subconsiously for this very reason.. when you said that it all clicked together. |

Lol where did you read that? I read his autobiography and he claimed he visited cities in his lucid dreaming where he discussed the new technology with dream people and that he designed everything in his dreams and made his inventions work in his dreams first before actually drawing a blueprint.. but I didn't read the part where he didn't know he was drawing that is pretty cool, happen to remember the source? |

Actually I heard from a person. I'm sure you could find it somewhere, though. |

I have this too. I think it's pretty much connected to hypnagogic imagery. Afterall HI is just a label and I don't know why i'd seperate it all, since it's pretty much the same thing, minus the waking up/going to sleep part. I've talked about this before. The small images I can see during the day, usually conceptually resemble something I visualize. If I relax they get stronger and bigger. Continuing into sleep they of course get even bigger, more defined, some rudimentary colour differentiation, better contrast and, if it happens, eventually turn into a dream scene after the SP kicks in. It's pretty clear that when we go to sleep the input mostly turns away from our senses and gets it's info from the brain directly. I guess it's just something that never quite turns off for me and you guys who experience it as well. |
