Thread: Incubus Or Succubus?? Are you a believer?

I've heard crazy stories before about incubi and succubi, these creatures from (hell?) a lower realm that prey on people to have sex with them while they sleep. I've been told multiple times that they don't exist (both in spirit and in person) , and I've read stories of other people possibly experiencing them. They seem pretty convincing, and I don't know why someone would want to make up such a story, but I also know to not always believe everything you read on the internet.

Background:

It is hard to say what is real and what is a figment of your imagination whilst dreaming. However, when you encounter one of these creatures, I will tell you that the feeling you get is very vivid, very real feeling and one can become lucid during this time. I have fought creatures like this in my sleep before, and it is very unpleasant and I get very defensive when countering one.

In my experience, these creatures prey on people while they are fully asleep and experiencing a regular dream, as this is when the spirit is (potentially) most vunerable as it is relying on subconscious images and feelings. When a person is vivid, they are in a conscious state of dreaming, somewhat in control of their actions.

I remember a particular dream where I was having sex with a girl, I started getting pretty violent with her in the dream, because I was testing her. She morphed into a monster, a demonoid looking creature, and I bit her. I don't know why I fought like this, as typically the creature will feed off of fear or negative energy. I wasn't particularly scared, just really defensive. At the time, I hadn't developed the proper method of fighting creatures like this. I was pulled out of the dream by a high density spirit, and I remember distinctly feeling its tingly, vibrating touch on my arm, where then I was sent into an astral projection to a higher realm.

I also remember another dream recently that was strange...I was partially lucid, and I don't remember what I was dreaming about, and there was no visual, only blackness, but I had sleep paralysis, and it felt as if something was literally taking control of my spirit during the dream, and I could only fight it with my mind. I opened my heart and sent it love instead of getting defensive, and i remember saying outloud this love was sent in the light of God, and that God loves you, and this was sent in the name of Jesus Christ. I had trouble saying the words Jesus Christ..they came out more like Jeeeesuuuss Chhhrriiggghhhhssst (I'm assuming because of the control the creature tried to have over me) It was scared off rather quickly and didn't return.
Upon waking, I saw an orb of light and was told I did the right thing.


Last night:

It was at this point where I woke up briefly and it was morning time, but I couldn't move. I remember hearing my dog and my mom getting ready for work, and I was laying on my side staring at my curtains. I tried and tried to move, but my body would not respond. I'm so used to this by now, that it no longer scares me, it's just frustrating. The weird thing about it is that I was moving and thrashing about and my physical body just would not respond. To me, when this happens, its as if my physical body and astral body have completely seperated because it feels like my body is moving, when it physically isn't. I assume this is my astral body moving and my physical being unresponsive due to sleep paralysis. I kept trying to tell myself to wake up. I could hear myself say "wake up," and I was thinking that if I said it loud enough and my physical body was saying it too, my mom would come into the room and help me. I started saying it over and over, and finally on the last "Waaaake uuuupppp!", my astral body shot up in the air and removed itself from my physical body, and then quickly came back down and my physical body was finally responsive. I was groggy and tired, but relieved that I could finally go back to sleep without feeling so weird.

I then went into several dreams (Not lucid) where I was trying to wake myself up, in my room, and I just couldn't wake up. If I did, I was half asleep and a zombie, and was hardy in control of my physical body. I would get out of bed, everything would be hazy, and I'd put on a pair of shorts, and fall flat on the floor.

I then woke up from this with the feeling of a soft poke or a prod on my butt. It was as if someone/something knew I was having trouble and trying to wake me up entirely so that I would get out of bed and start my day. I woke up briefly and then tried to go back to sleep.

The last dream I had started out pleasant; I was composing a film score with a live band, and I remember specific characters from the dream. My childhood crush was there, playing the trumpet. Everyone congratulated him because he played the score (which was very difficult) to perfection. My music teachers from school were also there, to congratulate him and help with the music. I was then pulled away from this scene by a sense of light scratching and pulling on my back.
I then heard a voice; "What would you give to be with ******??" I replied "******? Anything, I would do anything to be with him." I heard the voice laugh as it continued to pull/scratch at my back. At this point, it felt good and was very arousing/sexual and in my dream state, I actually thought it was ******.
I then went into further detail of what I would do, things that I typically would not sacrifice for anyone else, my beliefs religiously, my stance on having children, basically anything and everything in my power if it meant spending the rest of my life with him.
The scratching then got harder, more intense, and like I said it felt very real as it had in the times past. Somewhere along the way I became lucid, and aware of what was going on. I actually thought I was awake at first because of the feeling I got from this scratching, but I guess I wasn't. The scratching then got harder, more intense, and just begun to feel annoying. I then told it to stop, as I wasn't going to play this game. I felt like I was being tricked, or deceived, that it wasn't ******, and I then got really defensive. I said "I'll bite you!!" and it just continued. I grabbed (it's) hand, right between the thumb and index finger. (The index finger was the one scratching me) It felt cold and skinny and dead, (definately female) and I bit the thumb as hard as I could and woke up completely.

Obviously nothing was in the room with me that was visible, but I did feel a presence. A couple of them, actually. I can't really describe to you what it's like to feel this. When I communicate with spirits, it's always mentally, and if I "see" them, its also mentally, (with my third eye?) I never see anything physical and very rarely do I physically hear a voice. (That has only happened once, and is a whole other story.) I also don't claim to be psychic, although I believe we all have psychic powers, some choose to develop them and some choose to ignore them. I do think I've always been sensitive to this type of thing, but I do have a barrier built up that could imply I'm crazy, this isn't really happening to me, and my mind is delusional and making it up. (It's been my experience though that crazy people don't know they're crazy, so I really don't know what to make of all this.)

Anyway, the presence I felt was two lower creatures, as if an "incubus" and "succubus" if these creatures do so exist. They were mocking me, and laughing at me. I was not afraid, as I'm past the point of being scared of something that isn't even really "there." I then closed my eyes and opened my heart to send love in the name of Jesus Christ to these beings, as I did before. They were very strong, and resistant to my tactic, but they did seem to back off. They then began speaking latin, a lot of which I did not understand. The only two words I could hear distinctly were "omnius and succubus".
They wouldn't go away completely, so I just woke myself up entirely, got out of bed and went and ate breakfast.

This actually reminds me of something I experienced as a little girl when I was trying to sleep. I remember being in bed trying to sleep, but I was awake as if I hadn't fallen asleep yet. I felt someone tap on my shoulder, as if trying to wake me up. It was almost a scratching feeling, as if the person had long nails. I actually thought it was my mom because it felt so real, and I remember asking her in the morning why she was scratching/tapping me. Of course she had no idea what I was talking about, and I had no way of explaining this, and this moment has always stuck with me. I was probably like 4 or 5 at the time.

Sorry this is kind of long, I'm just curious to know what you think, if I'm indeed delusional, or if this is actually happening to me and whether or not you believe in these Incubi or Succubus creatures.
