Precognitive Dreams
Have you ever had a precognitive dream? I began having them in the early 90’s. The first major one was extremely shocking to me. Here it is. I dreamt the phone is going to ring at 2:30 PM or about 2:35 PM and it is going to be a friend of mine, Karen. I did not give the dream much thought. Well, the next afternoon I was having a cup of coffee and the phone rang. I was in a friend’s house alone. He had gone somewhere and so I let the answering machine answer the call. I heard Karen calling my friend about some furniture he had. She finished the call by saying it is about 2:35 PM. At this moment I remembered the dream from the night before. I ran to the phone to see that the clock said it was 2:30 PM. I was very disturbed by this event. I was trying to make sense of it. Who or what was telling me the future? How do they know the future? Are they Angels or Aliens? I had no answers only questions. My world changed drastically in just a few minutes. I knew things are not what they seam. After this first contact dream I began having pregog dreams frequently and they still happen today. Example: I see an image of a face in my dream and the next day I see that person for the first time. stevenlchilds.blogspot.com

Their are no concrete answers.
Some will tell you, that it was simply a coincidence.
Some will tell you it was Satan...
Some will tell you that all of us have this ability and we are all interconnected and you were just seeing the possibilities of the future.
But as far as concrete answers, you'll probably never find them.
See if you can make this ability more clear, and more controlled. Good luck
My precognition usually happens in the waking world, with my mind probably running at theta... Happens a lot when I take mushrooms..

I pretty much agree with DeathCell. We really have no way of knowing if it is spiritual, coincidence, or just the power of the mind at predicting future events. I personally lean more towards the latter though.
I've had a lot of them though, so I most certainly believe they are real. Just yesterday I had a dream I got a 97 on an exam (which came true :D), sometimes I see what get's written on the billboard the next morning. I wouldn't go as far as investing in a stock based on a dream like this, but they are still pretty cool.
Btw..welcome to DV :)

I think the future is told to me by alien beings of some type. I will post new thread with the dream experience that explains it.

Ive had a few precognitive dream, Ive also had dreams of the past that I have varified. In the dream/astral demention time as we generaly experience it doesn't exist, you can move into the future or the past. You can also mix them up. Is this scientificly provable? Probably not to any one who doesn't want to belive it.

Scientific proof
I suppose it is like trying to prove someone is in pain. They could be lying about the pain in their neck. How can you prove someone else even has a normal dream. The observer would have to be in the dreamers mind to know. Even then how can you prove a dream? It is like the zen monk asking, "which mind is it that awakens?" The master answers, "show me your mind and I will awaken it."

Yes. I have had two that have happened that I know of. One recently.
In the first one I dreamed that I was in the car with mom, and she said that she talked to her mother (my grandmother) and said that she hoped that I liked the Christmas present I got her. She showed it to me in the dream.
Guess what I got for Christmas?
In the second one which actually happened a few days back I dreamed about this creepy lighthouse like place with bells on the top floor. Full dream here. Later that night I went on a college tour with some friends (IRL). They showed us the Beaumont Tower from MSU. I shitted bricks. The layout was nearly the same to what it was in my dream, even the bells at the top.
But you know....It's probably a coincidence :paranoid:
