new "beyond" dreamer says hi !

Hi, this is just an introduction and my first post in this forum. Please excuse any mistake in my use of the langage as I am not a native english speaker : I am French, live in Spain, travel a lot (in the physical world) and currently spend time in Brazil.
I know I should introduce myself in the newbie forum, but "beyond dreaming" is the forum that actually caught my attention and made me sign up to be a member, so I thought I would do it here instead. I am curious to see the "Deep Dreaming" forum as soon as I can too. Frankly, I am not interested in flying, driving fancy cars, or have sex in my dreams since most of it can be done in real life. On the other hand I am interested in learning about shared dreaming, healing, travelling to other dimensions, meeting entities from other worlds...
So I quite commonly first heard about lucid dreaming in Castaneda, then saw "waking life" and actually had my first LD after seeing this (amazing) movie a few times, about five years ago, doing the light switch check one of the characters talks about, and realizing I was dreaming. Some time ago I've also realized I was dreaming (don't remember how, thought) and tried to fly (I guess it's the first thing everyone tries, no ?). I actually got to float, or kind of levitate if you prefer, which I thought was quite cool. All this was done without doing any training, not even reading a faq on the internet.
So now, thanks to this forum I am starting to understand the real potential of lucid dreaming : pretty exciting. Good night !

Glad to see your intrest in expanding your realty and being open minded. I used to be very close minded. Hell I didn't even think lucid dreaming was real at first. But once I cut looose my ties from social conditionig and Christianity I found the world to be a more amazig place that seems very subjective not objective. I have experianced psychokinesis more in the form of biokinesis (yes I know people hate that term) I have changed my hair color and healed myself. I'm getting better at it.

I remeber once I over healed myself. After I broke my arm I needed a surgery and once they stitched me up all I wanted was for my scar to heal so I could do stuff. After I took my cast off my scar had puffed up to a very abnormal ammount. Once the doctors went in to take out the screws they told me that they would need to cut off the old scar because of it's inflation. I focused much less on it healing quick and now it's a normal scar.

good luck in your adventures of our worlds reality may you discover what reality is.

never intentionaly but yes I think I have. When I chaned my hair color the first time it was quite odd because it happened quite rappidly. I didn't know about psychokinesis back then I just did it. I'm trying to make my hair black now. I'll see how that goes. With this like healing I find myself just doing it. I don't have a real technique I just do it.

I am curious about this "light switch check" you learnt about. Reminds me of a vision? I had once of an angel at the end of my bed. I woke up to see a cherub-like angel standing at the end of my bed and I was sure I was awake but I wanted proof of that so I half sat up resting on my arms, and it was still there smiling down at me, the most loving smile you could imagine. I was more sure than ever that I was awake but I needed to absolutely prove it to myself so figured the best way was to switch the bedside lamp on. As I did so the light come on it seemed in slow motion from the top of the room down to the ground and as it did so the image crumbled on contact with the light. Still don't know what to make of this. Your mention of the light switch check made me remember this.
