      Someone's invading my dream! Maybe...

I have, within a few days/weeks of each other last year, had a pair of dreams. Both of them featured a girl that I knew was not someone I knew, though I'm pretty sure it was the same person. Now I'm not saying this was certainly someone else in wl, but that was one of the first thoughts that popped into my head after the second one. I was lucid in neither.

What do you guys think? Invaded dream? or just repeated DC?
'Twould be cool if the former, might meet up again

Also if Invaded dream, was it any of you?

Meh. Psychological experiments have shown repeatedly that men tend to dream of unknown, attractive women with some significant frequency. Don't worry about it too much.

Can't say I remember exactly what she looked like, but I can give it a go. She was probably a bit shorter than I am, I'm about 180cm, so she'd have been about 160-170cm. She appeared to have black, or dark hair that came down to just below the chin level, maybe. She reminded me of someone I knew but I knew she wasn't them, face was different. But good luck getting a description of the face out of me, I can't describe peoples faces from wl, let alone from a dream. Though she was probably Caucasian.

This occurred to me to, though I would have to tell my mind of for this as I already have a girlfriend who would not be happy about the idea of me dreaming of strange girls .

You didn't say much. All you said was that you saw the same dream character again. That's really nothing new to the world of dreaming. Lots of people have re-occurring dream characters of people they have never met in waking life.

But is something else happening in these dreams to make you feel this person has a greater significance than a regular DC? Tell us more?

For example, one of my reoccurring dream characters denied being MY dream character in two different lucid dreams, when I told her this is my dream.

I'm afraid I have nothing else to go by apart from a feeling, all I know is that she wasn't a mental reconstruction of anyone I knew, so that would leave either someone else real and entering my dream, or just a random creation that my mind decided to use twice. That I could pick it out as the same 'person' the second time gave me the idea, and that I can remember both dreams is slightly odd. Of late I've been remembering less of my dreams.
It might even be my head telling me that part of me isn't satisfied with my current girlfriend

Well, if you focus on this one character, then you'll be thinking about her more during the day, which will increase your chances of dreaming about her. The moment your sub-c created her and you paid attention to her, she became a non-random DC. If you're almost obsessed, then yeah, it wouldn't be unusual at all to recall two or more dreams with the same, seemingly random character in them. This could also be your Dream Guide, if you believe in such things.
