I am telling ya... same taste and texture as an oyster. My grandpa who is in Spirit now used to loved oysters and he enjoyed very much eating some with me... I would swallow the whole thing because the texture.... ugh lol.

It was awesome indeed, but I had a more awesome lucid a couple years ago, where I visited Jupiter and I saw beings there.

      You can read it here:

I agree with KestrelKat, those beings were awesome! I have yet to visit an alien planet. I've only been in space 2 times while lucid, many times while non-lucid, but never on the surface of a strange planet. I really want to try that sometime and see what kind of place my mind concocts!

How do you exactly do with your dream recall? It beats my own dream recall hehe.
Well that is kind of you to say, but your dreaming is amazing. I've put a lot of effort into building recall, and it seems to be paying off. I have a long way to go, still, there are so many dreams and so much detail from them that just slips by every night, I want to catch and remember it all!

Although, I think now I need to balance my energies between lucidity and recall better, my lucids are still too far apart for my tastes, and generally poor quality and short compared to what I want.

What I specifically do for recall, I've written in the competition thread, and the link is in my signature.

      FryingMan's dream recall tips

Probably the most salient points are: 1) the deep desire to recall all dreams, and 2) reaching for dream memories every single time you find yourself awake. I've been doing this for 1.5 years now steadily with not a single night-off. Oh, I've had a few no recall nights, but not many (very few actually, around 10-15, usually do to extreme stress or really bad jet lag).

I think an additional point in the last 2/3 of a year is adding daily mindfulness practice. Pay attention and remember what you're doing during the day I find for me translates to paying attention and remembering what I'm doing in dreams.

For me, dream recall is like remembering what I did and experienced directly, not something abstract or detached like a movie that I watched. I'm reliving my experiences of the dream. I'm actually remembering my experience, feelings, visuals, thoughts.

As far as the meditation. Usually just focusing on nothingness and stillness. I have been doing that since a child also... just "think of nothing"

I have a room for Astral Projection/Meditation. I lay down on a reclining chair and just empty my mind. I grew up in an extremely noisy house and also, worked a few years in a store that was extremely busy and super noise due music and scores of people, so I learned to silence my mind. I have also went through very rough moments in my life (parents divorce, hard relationship with dad, spent a couple years at a intern high school were i felt miserable) so I learned to live my own world. In addition, especially during a kid if I could not do something, I would set the intent to dream about it, which added to my training. All of this helps me to meditate and to reach the astral/lucid state. I learned a few years ago how to relax completely my body to a point of not even feeling it, which added to a silent mind is the best combination for WILD/Astral Travel. If I WILD, when I am in the trance state, I visualize a dream forming until I am in it. If I want to Astral, i visualize my body floating, separating and I focus on the feeling of astral (different from lucid, but very hard to explain, like bliss, happiness and peace all at once.)

Normally, I am super lazy as far as daily practice unless I have a big reason like this tournament. During normal times, I do random RCs and also a RC if something weird is going on. During goal times (new ToTM, this tournament, dares, etc.) in addition of that I have notes around to remind me to dream incubate or to think about dreams all together. I also work my MILD technique (I did upload a recording voice course here in DVs) Unless it is a WILD, I have to say I have also some lucky moments, like out of a bad sleep night being able to DILD. I naturally wake up several times a night, which also helps me with to do nightly visualization. That is something I always do, before going to bed and when I wake up in the middle of the night, think only about lucid dreaming and whatever goals I have.

How do you exactly do with your dream recall? It beats my own dream recall hehe.

So inquiring minds greatly desire to know: what sort of meditation to you do!? What time of day, are you sitting or lying down? What do you do with your mind in this meditation to get to the astral/lucid state? I know you've been dreaming since a young age, but do you do anything during the day and during the night to promote lucidity or awareness of dreams? In other words, what's your "day practice" and "night practice" like? Thanks!

I generally never LD when I do those meditations, I ignore the WILD and intent to astral project hehe, but this time I wanted to WILD to score more points, but never expected this result, so I am surprised too. Gotta try today again!

I liked how you kept going for some effect from drinking by downing one bottle after another. I also like how your DJ's show us all where we can be one day with dream control and lengthy, adventurous LD's.
