I think I might try that, I kind of created my own technique maybe a week ago (it is similar) which is semi successful where I think of random thoughts which allows me to get into dreams faster and try to keep awareness. I think yours might work better though, because I get too lost in the randomness of the thoughts+visualizations and lose all awareness. Whereas yours at least there is some consistency to your thoughts/daydreams.

Daydream awareness is a technique I invented for myself to increase my chances at DILD. I daydream as I fall asleep or in the middle of the night while being fully aware that I am daydreaming. When I do this it seems to give me a boost to my awareness during the night. I also end up seeing or doing things in my dreams that relate to the daydream and use them as dream signs. It's kind of complicated for me to explain.

Just wondering, what is this daydream awareness technique you mentioned?


Btw I have been reading some of your LDs they are quite awesome. It seems you can gain a very high level of lucidity.

I've had some weird dolls in my dreams as well....they are so freaky.

Weird... The only time I cared about my hair in a dream was when half of it was cut off by a shuriken. Having a shaved head on half my head feels weird.
