      Basic TOTM

I was in some old abandoned building in the middle of the night. It might have actually been run down version of my house. There were a few guys with weapons and armor standing in front of a large mirror. The mirror was located about where my backdoor would be, so I found that a bit odd. Odd things must be questioned so I did a reality check. I became lucid after my dream energy reality check proved that I was dreaming.

Rather than picking up interest in those people and the mirror, I decided to look for something to eat. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a box of Lucky Charms and a jug of milk. I poured them into a bowl, grabbed a spoon, and walked back to the group of people. I sat down on an old chair and watched them while I ate. The image of a man formed in the mirror and jumped out of it. It was Chris I think. He showed everyone a fancy jeweled dagger and they all cheered. They put the dagger in a treasure chest with other valuable items.

Seeing that there was treasure to be found on the other side of the mirror made me very curious. I guess it's a dragon's nature to collect treasure. I walked over to their group to see what exactly was going on. Chris was about to greet me but stopped and asked, "What are you doing?" "Eating a bowl of cereal," I said casually. "Why?" he asked. "Because they're magically delicious!" I shouted. "Fair enough," he said. "So what are you guys doing?" I asked him. "We're collecting treasure from the mirror world. Want to try it out?" he asked. "Sure, I think I need to do this for the task of the month anyways," I said.

I walked towards the mirror and stared at it. It looked like a normal reflection, but my energy sense was detecting something inside it. It's hard to explain, but it was like the mirror was creating an extra dimension. I placed my hands on it and waited for something to happen. I tried applying a little energy to the mirror to get a reaction out of it. My hands and then my body started to become distorted and I was sucked into the mirror.

I became a 2D image inside the mirror. I looked back outside of the mirror and saw Chris wave to me. The image of Chris and everything outside of the mirror then became completely distorted for a moment and reformed into a new image. Outside the mirror it was still night time, but I was now looking at a castle courtyard. There was a man who looked like a priest or monk staring at me. A castle seemed like a good place to search for treasure, so I decided to exit there. I placed my hands on the mirror's glass again and pushed through. I slowly stepped out of the mirror and my body returned back to its 3 dimensional shape.

I was about to greet the priest and ask him to help me find the treasure. The priest pulled out a jeweled dagger like the one Chris brought back. He immediately tried to stab me, but I back flipped to a safe distance from him. I transformed into a black dragon in the middle of the flip. Even though he was a priest/monk there was a very sinister energy inside him. He charged towards me with the dagger again. I grabbed his arm and threw him over my shoulder.

I heard Chris's voice say, "Be careful, he's pretty dangerous." I looked around and tried to figure out where he was. I looked at the mirror again and saw him standing in the house on the other side. "Really? He seems pretty weak," I said. The priest got back up and made some quick stabbing motions at me. I dodged his attacks and blocked the last one with my claws. I then grabbed his stabbing hand so he couldn't stab me anymore. In my other hand I focused that green nature/earth energy stuff. I threw a punch at his chest with this energy and it was powerful enough to shoot him to the other side of the courtyard.

I thought that attack would have knocked him out, but he got back onto his feet. He then ran frantically up the stone stairs that lined the castle wall. "Wait! Don't chase after him. You need to stay close to the mirror," Chris said. I ignored Chris and chased after the priest anyway. It wouldn't be any fun to just end it all there. I also didn't think I should let this guy get away.

I followed him up the stairs to the top of the wall. There was some sort of shop on top of the wall at the side. I thought that was a bit odd. I sensed the priest's energy inside the shop and my danger sense activated. The shop exploded and a huge flame shot out of the front towards me. At the same time of the explosion, I slid myself over the other side of the wall and grabbed onto the edge. I just barely avoided the flame.

As I was about to climb back up, the priest jumped out of the flames and tried to stab my hand. I put my hand forward and let out a burst of ice magic. I froze our hands together before he could stab me. He karate chopped the block of ice around our hands to break it. He started running again while wrapping up his injured hand in his robes. Luckily dragons don't seem to get frostbite easily. I climbed back up to the wall and continued to chase after him.

He ran into a room at the corner of the castle and slammed a heavy steal door shut. I focused earth magic at the end of my tail as I ran forward. I jumped forward and struck the door with my tail and the door fell down. The room looked as if it were a small library where valuable books and scrolls were kept. The shock wave generated by my attack caused one of the book shelves to fall over. It landed on top of the priest and seriously hurt him. Amazing how all it took was a book shelf to defeat him.

I walked over to him to make sure he wasn't about to jump up and stab me again. He looked like he was on the brink of death to my surprise. He started to whisper something to me. I can't remember it clearly, but I think he was thanking me for killing him. He said something about a demon that had possessed him and forced him to do evil things. After he died I looked around the library. I picked out a couple tomes and scrolls for me to bring back.

I jumped down the wall and glided back down into the courtyard. When I found the mirror again I walked into it slowly. The experience was very similar to the first time I went through the mirror. The dream started to destabilize as I went through all of the distorted effects.
I woke up before I got back to the other side of the mirror.

    2. Battle With Steggies; A Different Perspective (March 16, 2012)

      Battle With Steggies

It seems this dream started out inside a city. It wasn't like a modern city though, it was more ancient. It was most likely built like a medieval city. I was walking down a stone path in the middle of the city with my dream guide, the old man. Oddly, the streets were empty. He said something about the city being under attack and was guiding me towards the city walls. When we reached the walls, we climbed a set of stairs to the top to get a good view. Over the wall I could see a vast desert and some mountains off in the distance. Not far away from the wall I saw Chris, Claire, and a bunch of monsters surrounding a hole in the ground. Chris and Claire were in an intense battle with the monsters.

After seeing 3 dream guides, monsters, and a battle happening, I started to think for a second.
I quickly became lucid and everything started making sense. "Ha, I hardly had to say anything this time," the old man said. I believe this was a reference to his ways of helping me reach lucidity. When I looked back at the battle, I started to worry a little about Chris and Claire. "I should go help them," I said, preparing to jump over the wall. "Stay here," he said, "We have everything under control. There's no need to put yourself in danger."

I stepped back and watched for a few seconds. It was starting to look like we were losing. I also didn't feel comfortable about not helping them out. Despite what the old man said, I ran forward and jumped over the wall. I morphed into a white dragon and started to fly towards them. "Dragonborn!" the old man shouted, "Come back! It's not safe!" I didn't care about what he said or how dangerous it was. I just wanted to help them.

When I flew over the hole where the battle was taking place, I got a better look at the monsters. They were small little dinosaurs with golden spikes. Kind of like a mini stegosaurus, but carnivorous. I'll just call them steggies for now. I dove down and breathed fire on a group of steggies that were surrounding Chris. I landed outside of the hole, next to Chris, and felt a sharp pain in my feet. I started hopping around in pain and looked down at the ground to see what would have caused it. Those steggies had scattered tiny golden thorns all over the ground. It was really annoying at first, but I learned to deal with it.

Chris jumped back a distance away from the steggies and summoned his bow. He then proceeded to snipe steggies that were surrounding me and Claire. Claire was fighting them off with her sword and lots of lightning. I was mostly just breathing fire and smacking steggies around with my tail. It was hard to fight them because of their sharp teeth and protective spikes. With each one we killed, more would just crawl out of the hole in the ground.

I switched to using ice magic to see if that would work better. Using my ice breath, I was able to freeze large groups of steggies that Claire could easily break apart. It still wasn't enough though and more and more of them just kept coming out of the hole. Eventually the steggies cornered the three of us together and surrounded it us. "Get down!" I yelled to Chris and Claire. I activated fury mode for a few seconds and used the energy to fuel my lightning magic As soon as they ducked down I released a huge wave of lightning in all directions. The spikes on the steggies acted like lightning rods and zapped the hell out of all of them. We killed them all, but I lost my dragon transformation out of it.

Now that there were no more steggies on the surface, I decided we should try to find the source. The three of us jumped down the hole together and landed in an underground cavern. I could then sense the energies of the steggies and could feel them in the walls. They then started crawling out of the cave walls and we started running. At this point there really wasn't a plan anymore and we just wanted to get away. I could see a light up ahead and knew we were almost out of the tunnel. Near the end of the tunnel though was a trap. It was a spiked wall slowly descending from the roof of the tunnel.

I slowed down a little bit to try to stop the steggies while Chris and Claire ran ahead. I shot a few flames down the tunnel and then started running again. By the time I reached the trap it was low enough that I would have to slide under it. I dove towards the ground and slid a few feet, but it only got me about half way through. I quickly started crawling towards the other end as the spikes got closer. When I was far enough, Claire grabbed my hands and pulled me out before it could impale me.

When I exited the tunnel I was standing in a field. I also completely forgot about Chris, Claire, and the steggies for some reason. There was a house in the field, so I walked over to check it out. There were many family members inside the house and they were having some sort of reunion. I got into an argument with my mother about something but I can't remember. After the argument I saw some people grab some wands off a shelf and walk outside. I looked out the window and saw them tossing a ball back and forth with wands. It looked fun and got my attention, so I grabbed a wand off the shelf and went outside.

I followed them out to the field where they had 4 bases and a pitching mound set up. For some reason I didn't feel like they would want me to play, so I sort of just casually walked into the outfield. I was trying t look like I was already part of the game. The game started shortly after and everyone moved into position. The pitcher levitated a baseball off the ground with his wand. He then flung the ball towards the batter. The batter swung his wand and knocked the ball back with a magic blast.

The ball was flying fast towards me and I started running back to try to catch it. I stuck my wand in the air and tried to catch it with a telekinesis spell. I managed to pull the ball towards me, but I accidentally dropped it. I levitated the ball off the ground with my wand again and tried launching it back towards second base. I somehow threw the ball at the wrong angle though and it flew towards third base instead. The ball hit the catcher at third base in the head and knocked him out. "Sorry! New guy with a new wand!" I yelled back at them. They decided to cancel the game right after that and help the guy out. I decided to walk away and pretend nothing had ever happened.

I also decided that I should get some more practice with the levitation spell. I saw a small chest lying in the field and used that for practice. I swished my wand and flicked it while saying, "Wingardium Leviosa!" It slowly levitated a few feet above the ground and was a little shaky. I tried to lift it to face level, but it fell back towards the ground. I got a little frustrated that it failed and started to think about what I could do better. I then remembered how the Lumos didn't work, but my own Illumina spell did. I flicked my wand towards the box and shouted, "Levitate!" this time. It wasn't a fancy word, but it worked. I had much more control over it this time and could easily lift it up and down over my head.

Out of nowhere I remembered Chris and Claire again. I realized that they might still need my help. I looked around the field and tried to find another entrance to the tunnels that we were in before. I found a small hill with a hole in it and I knew that was the cave i was looking for. I ran into the tunnel and looked and looked around for Chris and Claire. I ran into a few more of those spike traps from before, but I just rolled under them. I ahead I could see a large room where a bunch of men in robes were gathering around in a circle. I could also see Claire passed out on the ground. I started running faster and there was just one more spike trap to get past. When I tried rolling under this trap though, something grabbed my foot and tripped me.

I looked down and saw a red rug under me that had wrapped around my foot. I tried to untangle it, but the rug came to life and started to attack me. It wrapped itself around me and started choking me. To make it worse, the spikes were still getting closer to me. I remembered the spell I had just been practicing earlier and tried to apply it to the rug. I shouted, "Levitate!" as I tried to wriggle my hand around. I then unwrapped the rug around me with the spell and and flung it up into the spikes. I tried crawling out from under the spikes, but there wasn't enough time. Right when I felt the spikes touch my back, someone grabbed my hands. I was quickly pulled out from under there and saved. It scratched the hell out of my back a little, but I was alive. The person who had saved me was Claire again. The dream pretty much faded away at this point.

      A Different Perspective

I think this dream might have been a DEILD. Mostly because it was very similar to the last dream and I was lucid right from the very start. In this dream I wasn't really myself, but I was Claire. I was running through the tunnels again. This time I was trying to be a little more stealthy at first. I was still spotted though and these guys in blue robes started attacking me. There were maybe 15 of them. I used super strength to kick and punch them hard into the walls. It wasn't anything fancy and I just kept super punching and super kicking them. Sometimes I would use super speed to teleport to their positions and hit them hard.

After I fought off all of these guys I came into a large room. It looked just like the one I saw at the end of the last dream. It was empty though. Suddenly, a bunch of doors appeared in the walls and men wearing red robes walked out of them. They surrounded me and a black robed figure appeared in front of me out of nowhere. It appeared to be a bunch of Draflams and a shadow man working together. I grabbed my sword from behind my back and lunged towards the shadow man. Before I could even attack, they had combined their powers and electrocuted me with one powerful lightning bolt. I fell to the ground and passed out for a moment.

When I regained consciousness, my vision was blurry. As I focused a little harder, I could see the robed men gathering in a circle. They were trying to perform a ritual and it definitely didn't look good. Some sort of weird dimensional portal appeared above them. I think they were trying to summon something. I tried to move my body around a little bit and get back up. Once I was off the ground, I felt a little better and my vision became a clearer. I knew I had to do something to stop their ritual.

I jumped between the group of robed men and charged up my lightning magic. Before they could even react, I launched a very powerful blast of blue lightning in all directions. Anything in that room the room that wasn't me was toast. It was the most powerful lightning blast I have ever produced. To be fair though, It was actually Claire's lightning blast and not mine.

At this point I could feel that the dream was about to end. I didn't really mind it so much because I thought the story had ended. I then started to hear some noises coming from another tunnel. I held on to the dream a little longer to check it out. When I looked in the tunnel I could see me fighting with the magic rug. I saw me kill the rug and me trying to crawl out from the under the trap. I ran forward and tried to help myself out. I grabbed my hands and pulled myself out from under the spike traps. The dream ended just like the last dream, but through Claire's perspective. That's a very strange thing to think about.

    3. Stopping the Dragon (January 6, 2012)

by , 01-07-2012 at 08:07 PM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

Many of the dreams I've had recently were too boring for me to remember except this one.

      Stopping the Dragon

I had a low level of lucidity for most of the dream. It was the middle of the night and I was standing in a large grassy field again. The night sky had many stars, but nothing particularly amazing. In the distance I could see a lake and some hills further away. To the left and right were two different castles that sat near the lake. I stood there and thought over which castle I wanted to explore. Then all of the sudden there was a sense of panic in the air. It felt like something dangerous like a battle was about to happen. So without thinking about which side I wanted to take, I made the long run to the castle on the left.

As I approached the gate I could see a few men setting up siege equipment in a tower. Looking through the metal bars of the gate I could see many people running around in chaos.

"Hey you! Stop!" Said one of the soldiers in the tower.
"Are you a Draflam?" The second guard asked.
"What the hell is a Draflam?" I responded.
A fireball hit the tower hard before one of the guards said, "Get inside quickly!"

The gate in front of me soon opened and I ran inside. I was constantly being pushed and shoved by the panicking citizens and the soldiers moving to position. The ground and walls of the castle shook a few times after each blast. I'm not even sure where these explosions where coming from. I eventually made it to a group of soldiers near a spiral staircase. Before I could even say anything I heard one final explosion from around the corner. I saw soldiers and debris fly against the other wall during the explosion.

The next thing I know all of the soldiers are yelling about a dragon. They managed to tie a black rope around the dragon that extended around the corner to where I'm at. I'm guessing the point of this was to make sure the dragon couldn't fly away and cause more trouble. I grabbed the rope and helped them pull against the dragons strength. Then I saw a familiar face to my side. It was a man that reminded me a lot of the squire and dragon tamer from previous dreams.

"You there!" He said pointing to me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him?
"Outsider, who are you? Are you Aranian or one of those Draflams?" He asked me.
"I'm a Dragonborn." Was the only way I could think to respond.
"Outsider, you are not welcome here!" He said starting to become angry with me.
"Please, just let me help your people." I said desperately.
"Very well then." He said overlooking the situation.
"Quick, give me your match." I requested.

He tossed a box of matches to me and I suddenly had an idea. The rope was black and reminded me of a fuse. So I struck a match and lit the rope on fire. The soldiers down the line quickly started moving away as they noticed the fire. Once the fire moved around the corner I realized we only had about 5 seconds left.

"Everyone get down now!" I yelled.

All of the soldiers soon started running away from the area and taking cover. Me and the squire moved ducked down behind the stone staircase. Right as we ducked down a huge explosion was heard and felt from where the dragon was. I soon got back up off the floor covered in dust and debris. As everyone stood up they started to cheer at the defeat of the dragon. I was happy for a moment until I realized something the others didn't. Although I didn't see it, I could feel that the dragon was only wounded by the explosion and it had just retreated. I also realized that the other castle was still attacking us.

I ran up the spiral staircase that led to the castle walls. From there I could see an army approaching from the other side of the lake. Soon there were arrows and fireballs flying at us. I ran into the tower near the gate to help out the soldiers who helped me. Sadly the dream skips here and I can't remember what happened with them.

I was now sitting on the couch in my grandmother's living room. I had memories from earlier in the dream, but I wasn't lucid. I remembered that we had won the battle, but I had only wounded the dragon. I became nervous and worried that the dragon could come back any moment and attack. I looked out the window and it was pitch black. That made me even more nervous because the dragon could be right outside and I wouldn't know it. I walked into the dining room and saw a few family members sitting at the table talking. I ignored them and looked at the window behind them. It was too dark to see out that window too.

"Speak of the devil! How are ya?" My uncle spoke to me.
"Jolly, just jolly!" I said nervously looking through another dark window.
"That's good. Hey you look a bit worried. Is something wrong?"
"Nope..." I said and walked back to the living room.

I then sat on the couch and fell asleep. Next thing I know it's the middle of the day and I'm sitting in a tree in my backyard. Everything looked normal except there was a stone tower growing out of the back of my house. In the distance you could also see castle walls that surrounded the villages in the kingdom. I was sitting there telling my story a group of people below the tree. I just wrote my story though, so I'll skip to the end. I explained to them that the dragon was still alive, and I knew it would come back and attack the top of that tower. So I told them how I was going to go to the top to fight it, but they all walked away nervously. There was one person though that didn't walk away though.

As soon as I saw her I became lucid. It was the same elf in the red dress from the "Dragonborn Magic" and "Healing Potion Quest" dreams. She raised her hands in a way that I knew she was about to cast a lightning spell at me. I slowed down time and jumped off of the tree branch. I just barely dodge the lightning bolt. I immediately started running to the backdoor of my house/tower.

To make things more confusing, when I entered the building it looked more like a lab or hospital. There were a few sets of stairs that I didn't have time to climb. I jumped over the railing to the top and looked back. I saw the door slam open and heard foot steps. I couldn't see anyone though. "Oh crap! She knows an invisibility spell!" I said and started running again.

As I ran down the hallway of the hospital I remembered my magic. I took in a deep breath, turned around, and let out a powerful roar. It knocked her hard off her feet and disabled her invisibility spell. I ran towards her and jumped up in the air to kick her. She grabbed my foot though and threw me into one of the rooms to the right. I got up and went back into the hallway. I took in another deep breath and prepared for a roar. She started moving between rooms very quickly so I couldn't get a good aim on her. Then suddenly I realized that I really need to breath. So I let out my roar down the hall without hitting anything. The elf then came out of nowhere and knocked me to the ground. She was now on top of me and was about to blast me with a spell. I managed to let out one quick weak roar though. It made her stumble back against the other wall. I continued to let out a series of quick roars to keep her pinned. I started to think about how I was only taking short quick breaths for a moment. I woke up shortly after realizing it probably wasn't healthy.

      End

I wonder how things would have turned out if I did get to fight the dragon a second time. I also thought that elf died before after I tried to help her. Now she is trying to kill us again. Whose side is she on?
    4. 1 Lucid, 3 Dreams (December 18, 2011)

by , 12-20-2011 at 03:48 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      DreamLucidAwake

I had a dream character appear as a buddy in all my dreams. I don't think he ever said his name, but I named him Chris and he responded to it.

      Nightmare Tunnel

I was running through some place we called a "nightmare tunnel" with a dream buddy. The walls of the tunnel were odd swirling shades of yellow. We were running along a bridge/platform from zombies. A trap door then opened in our path and I fell in. I was in a dark room now and I walked down the hall towards the light.

Now I was in an arena like room with high walls that prevented me from getting back to Chris. Suddenly vents opened and thousands of spiders poured out of them.
As they surrounded me I suddenly realized that if it was a "nightmare tunnel" then that means I'm in a dream. I slowed down time and did a high jump before they could start crawling on me. While I was in the air a few of them tried jumping at me from the walls. I teleported out of the way to a wall with out spiders and then leaped over the arena to get out.

I found myself alongside Chris again and now running from zombies, ghosts, swordsmen, and spiders. The bridge suddenly ended and below was just a bottomless pit. Chris turned around to face the monsters and prepared to fight them. I decided to take the easy way out and push him off the bridge. I then jumped down into the pit myself.

I saw a bright flash of light and I found myself laying in a field. I got up off the ground and found Chris. I explained to him that it was a dream and we could do anything. So we both got the idea to play around with the low gravity. We did a few jumps and flips before quickly becoming bored with that.

"There's nothing to do in this field." Chris said.
"Sure there is!" I said as I summoned a slinky.
"What are you going to do with that?" He asked.
      "You'll see."

I placed it between my hands and then magically expanded it to the size of a house. We then jumped on top of the slinky and I made it fly high in the air. I then added some spins and spirals to the flight to make it fun. Once we got past the clouds I decided to let the slinky fall and jump off. I was now happily free falling through the sky. I completely forgot about the landing part though and I hit the ground hard. I immediately got right back up full of energy.

"Ouch, that hurt a little." I said with my hand over my side.
"You just fell 1000 feet and you're okay with that?" Chris asked me surprised.
"Ha ha, if this was real life that would be a broken rib." I said laughing.

Sadly the dream started to fade away at this point. More things may have happened, but I can't remember.

      A Grim Future

I was inside an old rundown building. It was abandoned and looked like no one had lived there in years. Chris from the last dream was by my side again and was exploring with me. As we moved around the house I started to notice that it looked a lot like my home. We were on the second floor but didn't find anything interesting. I fallowed Chris down the stairs and into one of the larger rooms. I recognized it as my living room and realized that it was my home. I then shined my flash light near the couch. In the light I saw the two dead bodies of my parents.

"What the hell is happening here?" I thought out loud.
"You time traveled, remember?" Chris answered.
"How far did I go?" I asked him.
"About a few years I think." He said.

Through out the house I found more dead bodies of family members. I also found several animal bodies of pets I've had through my life. I woke up shortly after.

      The Honor Code

I was in the living room of a very nice house. That's all I can really it say, it was fancified. I found Chris sleeping on the floor.

"Chris, get off the floor." I said.
"I was sleeping" He said annoyed.
"Look outside." I said while pointing to the window.

We walked to the window and looked outside. The ground was covered in a thick layer of snow and there were gray clouds covering the sky. We looked to see a caravan sinking into a pond and a many people drowning. Medieval soldiers soon arrived and worked hard to get them out of the water.

"Shouldn't we go help them?" I asked.
"Not unless we're in the army." He said.
"Seriously? We can't help people unless we're soldiers?" I asked in disappointment.
"I heard they're offering a 3 day trial period. That should be long enough for us." He said.
"Well then let's go!" I said excitedly.

I turned away from the window and saw a man of about my age in the living room. Looking at his clothes I could tell he was associated with the military but only a squire. He was messing with a few statues and antiques in the room.

"Can I help you?" I asked him.

I startled him and he dropped the small vase he was holding. We both looked at it as it fell to the ground and shattered. He looked up and smiled sheepishly.

"It's not mine but you're paying for it." I told the squire.
"I was sent to help you find the barracks." He said.
"Okay..." I said expecting him to explain more.
"We must go there for you to sign the honor code." Chris explained.
      "Lead the way." I said.

We walked outside into the snowy weather and the squire pulled out a map. I tried reading it, but I couldn't make sense out of it. He pointed down the road leading to the village and we followed him. Unfortunately the dream kind of skipped straight past the village and into the barracks.

The squire pulled a golden tablet out from a desk drawer. He motioned me forward and handed me a quill. He started rambling a bunch of nonsense that I kind of ignored until he mentioned magic.

"This golden tablet is the honor code. It is magical device that will decide if you're with or with out honor. Just sign right here." He instructed me.

I took the quill and signed the tablet, but it was more like random scribbles. I then stepped aside so Chris could sign. Neither of us blew up or anything so I figured we passed. The squire then scribbled something on a scroll and said we passed.

The next thing I know I'm at a fair with rides and stuff in chainmail armor. I knew my job was to watch for crime and keep peace at the event. Despite this, I walked up and down the street trying to find Chris.

"Chris! Where are you?!" I shouted into the crowd of people.
"Right here." He said as he walked up to me.
"Where the hell did you go?" I asked.
      "Rollercoaster." He replied.
"I see you also got cotton candy..." I said staring at the bag of pink fluff strapped to his side.
      "Want some?" He asked.
      "Yup!" I said happily.

So we spent the rest of the dream just sitting on a bench and eating cotton candy. As with all cotton candy, it was tasty.

      Pointjackers

It was a bright sunny day and I was riding a rubber raft in the ocean. My sister and a weasel were also in the raft with me. I saw Chris in the water working hard to push the raft.

"Why did we bring a weasel?" I asked Chris.
      "New dream law." He said.
"And it's a law because...?" I asked confused.
"There's been a lot of dragon sightings around here lately. Everyone is now ordered to have a weasel at sea. It will protect us from the dragon." He explained to me.

I then saw a large white dragon leap out of the water nearby. It wasn't aggressive and it swam away. I noticed that me and my sister were wearing colorful electronic knee and elbow pads. I read the screen on my elbow pad (impossible in real life) and it showed 1000 points. I figured this referred to power points and could be used for defensive abilities and magical attacks. I placed my elbow on my sister's knee and gave her half of my points to add to her defenses. Thanks to our training from the last dream, me and Chris knew much more about fighting dragons than her and I was worried that the dragon could still attack. It appeared a few times, but luckily we never got in a fight.

We started to approach an island with slides and swing sets. It looked exactly like the playground I usually visit in dreams except it was surrounded by water and sandy. We got off the raft and stepped onto the beach. Unfortunately Chris said he had more rafts to deliver. The whole island was essentially the playing field of a game. There were many children there wearing colored knee and elbow pads like us. I noticed many of my family members sitting on the beach, but I didn't bother to greet them. I kid then ran by me at a super speed and smacked my elbow with his elbow.

      "Ha Ha!" he taunted.
"Fricking pointjacker!" I yelled at him.

He had taken 35 points or so from me. I couldn't ask my sister for any of my points back because I felt that would be dishonorable. I also knew she would need them more because these guys were hardcore. I wasn't interested in taking power points from other kids either as that was like stealing money to me. I just wanted to play around like I usually do on the playground.

I saw a wooden toy intended for climbing on past the swing sets. As I walked over there I stayed close to the swing sets where these gamers were too busy swinging. I got too close though and took a foot to the face and fell to the ground. I turned onto my back and saw a fat kid get off the swing in front of me. I stood up to face him eye to eye (sadly I was a foot shorter in this dream). It was the kid that accidentally kicked me in the face.

"You tryin' to steal my points?" He said in an attempt to intimidate me.
      "No." I said firmly.
"I thinks you are." He said smugly.
      "Just passing by." I said.

I had already started walking towards the wooden toy again before he could get out another word. I wasn't in the mood for dealing people like him. So I started climbing multiple platforms and layers inside the structure. I stopped when I heard footsteps coming from the ground below me. I snuck to a position where I could remain hidden and observe. I saw the same kid from before wandering around below trying to find me. I jumped down and tackled him to the ground. I held him down until I had absorbed all of his power points.

"Please go away now." I said irritated.
"Mommy!!!" He cried and ran off.
      "Finally." I said to myself.

I walked over to my family sitting on the beach and just looked out into the ocean. The dream faded away after this.

      End

Chris seems to be a much better dream character than most. He just makes things more fun. Unfortunately I didn't take his hints that I was dreaming. I hope to see him in more of my dreams.

This was the first dream of the night that I could remember. This all happened in one dream I'm sure, but the instantly changing scenes and different scenarios made it feel a little unorganized.

I have no idea where I was. I know I was in a city and it felt like it was from either the medieval or renaissance eras. The dream started with me standing on the roof of a three story stone building with stairs that circled the building. There were two girls in bikinis on the roof with me and there were a few other DCs around, but I didn't pay enough attention to them. I was in the middle of teaching the two girls how to headbutt as if it was an advanced martial arts technique. I must have succeeded because one girl ran down the stairs and headbutted some guy off the building. I walked away from the building and started to write some stuff about a wizard, a archer, and a warrior in a notebook. I can't remember what exactly I wrote though.

Supposedly in the first half of my dream, I had written some story about the adventures of wizard, an archer, and a warrior. A man then walked up to me and handed me a letter. It stated that my story is now famous in the city and that I would recieve 50,000 gold pieces. I then started to think of all the things I could do with 50,000 gold pieces.

5 seconds later I was on some flying ship. I guess I decided to spend the money on a air ship cruise vacation. I don't remember any other people being on the ship, so I thought that was kind of strange. I walked out to the deck to look for people, but a hunter and a boomer (Left 4 Dead zombies) came out from below deck. I kicked the boomer away and started to fight with the hunter. I saw a door that led to some storage closet and ran to hide in there. Then I heard the boomer explode as the door blasted open.

I woke up at about 6:00am during a thunderstorm right as this happened. I either woke up because of the thunder (which would also explain the boomer explosion) or because of my internal clock. I got up, used the bathroom, and went back to sleep about 20 minutes later.

      My Thoughts on this Dream

Wtf zombies again??? Leave it to them to kill a relaxing dream flight. I also wish I had more details about the story I wrote in the dream.
