Dream – Lucid

I was in my kitchen, sitting in a chair by the fridge. Jarrod was there, and so was my mom; she was sitting at the kitchen table. I was about to talk to Jarrod about some things, just about the way things ended with us. He sat with me, and my mom started to talk to Jarrod, trying to explain to him what was going on with him and I. I was getting frustrated with her because she was hogging the conversation; I was afraid that Jarrod would leave. I kept trying to tell my mom to stop talking, but she kept on going. Jarrod got up to get some water, and I thought he was leaving, and I told him to not leave yet. He went to the cabinet to get a glass for some water. I think my mom left or shut up after this.

Jarrod and I went into the living room and I sat on the couch. He laid down on top of me, and he asked if I still liked him. I pondered for a second on how to answer this, and said

“Is it possible to still like someone, but know that it’s never going to work?”

He agreed that it was, and we kissed. It was very strange. I guess he must have felt the same way. We talked a little bit more, but I can’t remember what all was said.
