Dream - Lucid

I was with Ryan. I remember there being 3 children, 2 girls and a boy. For some reason, we had to buy them each 2 gifts: An article of clothing, and a toy. They gave us lists of what they wanted. We were shopping for them at Old Navy. I remember seeing that the youngest girl wanted these purple-striped panties. I found a pair, but they had multi-colored stripes instead of purple. I looked for the purple ones, but they were out. I picked the multi-colored ones off of the shelf. They looked like a thong. I thought that they were NOT age appropriate, because the girl was so young. I mentioned something about it to Ryan, saying I couldn't believe what 'kids these days' were wearing or something.

I then remember telling Ryan we could get the shopping done faster if we split up, and I went and found the shampoo (??) and he went and got the clothes. We started shopping that way, but somehow ended up shopping together again. I remember wishing that the store had the purple-striped panties, because the girl really wanted them. I kept picking up the multi-colored ones, and finally deciding to get those.

Then, I remember something about a girl named Twila ('twi' as in 'twilight'). I remember being in a room with her and a lot of other girls. She had long, wavy blonde hair. I remember her being at a table with some codine pills on it. I compared her to some girl I used to be friends with in high school named Stephanie.

Then, I remembered that I hadn't bought a toy for the youngest girl. I hadn't been able to find what she wanted, which was some "My Little Pony" doll. The kids all already had their gifts. I decided I needed to go to their house and tell them that I was going to get the youngest girl a toy.

I got to the house, which was at the end of a cul de sac. I had to climb a ladder to get up to the entrance of the house. I got up there, and the parents saw me. They wanted to kill me because I hadn't bought a toy for the youngest child. I tried to explain myself, but they wouldn't listen. They didn't seem angry either; they were eerily calm about it.

I then remember running away and trying to hide from them over and over, but they kept finding me. I remember the father flashing a pair of surgical scissors (not sure what to call them) at me, and I thought to myself "Face your fears, nothing can hurt you right now". It was implied that I was dreaming, and I recognized it, but I still ran from the man, forgetting my thought.

At one point, I was back in the main room of the house that you entered after climbing the ladder. I saw the youngest girl. She had blonde hair, big eyes, and looked like she was about 3 or 4 years old. I knelt down to her height. She said something about me not getting her a toy. She seemed sad. I told her that I was going to get her one, and I promised I would. She looked hopeful, and said
"Really?"
I told her yes, I would.

While I was talking to her, her father found me again. I knew it was only a matter of time. I remember then running to the entrance to the house, and going down the ladder. At some point, I remember trying to transform into Link from the Zelda games, cause then I could kick some ass. I remember seeing Kacey down at the bottom, standing in the cul de sac. I feel like there were many other people there as well. I was talking to and looking at Kacey, when I remembered my thought from earlier.

It's a dream! But I like this dream, do I really want to be lucid right now? I guess I could forget and keep seeing where the dream takes me...no, I haven't been lucid in awhile...fuck it! I looked at Kacey's face. She smiled at me. She looked beautiful. I started to laugh, rubbed my hands together, and took off into the air. I flew above trees. I said
"I can fly! Why? Because I'm dreaming! I can do whatever I want!!"

I then remember feeling the dream fade. I was then down at a very clear river that was located in a field of very green grass. I was standing next to Link. He told me he was "pandering" for gold in the river. He gave me 3 green leaves, one small, one medium, and one large. I then knew he used those to "pander" for gold. I looked into the clear river. Many golden flakes and specks floated by.

Then, I "woke up" and started to type out my dream on my mom's laptop. I was sitting downstairs in the living room. I started to write about how the dream had started with Link and I "pandering" for gold, and me turning into Link at some point.

I then "woke up" again. I repeated the same process. I had to minimize a ton of my mom's files on her computer, because she had a ton of them open. I started looking for my dream, I thought maybe I had saved it as a draft to finish typing later. When I couldn't find it, I knew I had had an FA and was kinda irritated about having to type everything again.

This happened a third time before I finally actually woke up.
