    1. Snow, Snow, Snow

      Lots of dreaming about snow.

In my first dream, there was a blonde woman driving a red convertible around. I think that there was also a movie being filmed... I don't recall, I think it was like one of those B horror flicks. The landscape was super snowy, and it was up in the mountains.
Anyway, she ran into a unicorn. It was gray, with a kind of bronze colored horn. There were some Bad Guys (pretty one-dimensional, they looked like mobster thugs) that wanted to kill the unicorn.
Somehow, the movie was concluded, and the blonde woman started driving around. She drove up onto an outcropping, like a huge ice cliff that jutted overhead, extremely high up... the view I had was from way below, all I could see was a plume of snow kicked up by the car wheels. Then she drove over the side of the cliff (somehow part of the Bad Guys' plan?), but instead of crashing, the car was suspended in the air by a spider-web-like strand of ice.

I then dreamed I was working on an art project. Somehow I hadn't been told about part of my homework. I needed to turn it in TODAY. I was inking my work and crying and arguing with the teacher that I'd joined the class later than everyone else, and it wasn't fair because I hadn't been told about the homework, and I ought to get more time.

Now it's Christmas. There is a Christmas tree full of hamsters that are dressed as unicorns. They have tiny stuffed unicorn horns on their heads that flop around a little bit.

Next, I am drawing Sonic the Hedgehog fanart for N, a friend of mine who loves Sonic the Hedgehog. It's hilarious because the fanart I drew a) Mocked terrible Sonic the Hedgehog fanart, and b) Is something I actually drew in real life. N thinks that my fanart is hilarious. I decide that if the teacher is going to be an asshole, I'm going to turn in terrible fanart as part of my homework, so she has to suffer through looking at it. I am now standing next to the ice cliff that the woman drove off of. I dig out handfuls of snow and eat them.

Dreamed about students at a graduation, but not a run of the mill one. This one was in the woods, for some reason. There were two teachers - an older man, and a younger man who looked kinda like that one-eyed dude from "Sparta". Anyway, both were wearing heavy cloaks. It was very, very early, so it was very misty. Another student approached them, who'd be in their class next year, and wanted to discuss what they thought of her poetry, but their answer was that "not until you rise to study with the morning mists, when the world is white ,will you be a poet". She left, upset and angry.

Dream cut to the student shivering and alone way out in the woods very early in the morning, the morning fog was pretty solid, so it looked like the trees were rising out of a sea of white. She was kneeling and trying to recite poetry. At one point, she managed to avoid a poisonous snake, although she had no idea. Finally, she wasn't able to deal with the cold any more, so she tried to lie down in some very tall grass to sleep, only to land next to the snake, which bit her in the neck. This caused a series of hallucinations, where she blacked out.

However, at some point, she had a revelation when the sight of a black wolf caused her to realize that the memory of the snake biting and poisoning her was false - there had never been a snake at all. The second teacher had attacked her in the woods and cast a spell on her.

There was then something about beaches, and the sea, and the dream shifted. It was the same character, but she was playing PS3. The house they were all in was like my aunt's old house on Day Ave. Her uncle complained that she hadn't produced any artwork and was irritated by this shortcoming, which she would not explain. At some point, we all went out on the screened patio to look at some seeds we had planted but never watered, only to find that it had been so humid that water was condensing and nourishing the plants anyway, which had grown and were getting ready to flower.
    3. Houses, Juggling

      Original dream dated 07/20/2008:

Dreamed that we (my family) were in a house packing. I was being followed around by a very annoying blonde-haired little girl who had several dolls. She wanted some ceramic stuff packed (dolls and tea pots) and I was trying to pack them carefully so they didn't break, but she was being very careless with them. In addition, the house we were in spooked me very badly. It always felt like something was there watching you, and some rooms were so bad, nobody would turn their back on them. It was bitterly cold in the dream, even though when I woke up the apartment was actually quite warm.

      Had a second dream:
Dreamed that I was helping liquidate another store that was going out of business, only this one was full of odds and ends and books, and I had to sleep there overnight, which was very uncomfortable. I was very tired and everything, but the boss kept coming in and asking if we'd gotten everything sold yet, packed up and sent out yet, etc.
Then, my family was looking at different houses to rent (in the dream), one house had sort of like a river with a bridge across it, it was really cool but expensive (and the room they were renting was not large enough). The houses were within walking distance to a cool thrift shop.
Anyway, it was the 4th of July and my family wanted to go see fireworks. We wound up climbing up on this embankment with a bunch of other people. I dreamed that my aunt was driving the car to the bridge where we eventually climbed the embankment, only the car was being pulled along by cables and beads of light, and I kept wondering how we didn't fall off the bridge.
After the fireworks show, there was a woman putting on a juggling performance, only it was almost more like belly dancing. There was a story and a theme, with music. I somehow managed to get digital recordings of the music, and the performer said it was o.k. to share them with other people who'd seen the show and wanted the music.
