    Exploring My Mind

My dream journal. I'll try to make things as interesting as possible, and try to recall as many dreams as I can.
Anything in orange text is just part of a non-lucid. Anything in blue text is a lucid dream. Purple text is a dream sign, or possible dream sign. If the text isn't colored, it's not a dream and it's usually just me commenting on various things.
I'm hoping to fill this journal with tons of dreams over the coming years, and ultimately, get better at lucid dreaming~

    1. Fast and Flirty Times

Thankfully, I recalled a pretty good amount of a dream this morning! A very weird, kind of sensual dream at that. And it's a weekend, no less, which my recall has tended to be crappy on lately. But first, a very small fragment from when I woke up in the middle of the night:
My dog, Jesse, was tackling me and licking my face (as he does constantly IRL). However, it soon got to the point where I could no longer breathe, and I was gasping for air as Jesse continued to try to love on me. Running (or nearly running) out of breath caused me to wake up with a start, but I quickly fell back asleep to have the former, more vivid dream I mentioned.
I was at a large mansion on a school trip with a lot of classmates whom I don't actually know. There were about...40 or so of us altogether, including myself. The trip involved us going on a guided tour of the mansion. All of the students were about the same age as me.
In any case, soon after the tour started, one of the girl classmates came up to me and started whispering flirty comments into my ear. Shocked, and a little embarrassed, I turned to face her. Strangely, she did have a familiar quality about her, like I should know her from some where but in reality I don't actually know who she is. Her hair was short, messy, and light brown, and she had very fierce eyes.
I asked her why she was doing that, but I don't quite remember her response. The rest of the tour went on like this, with me trying to pay attention to the tour guide while she continually tried to seduce me, whispering comments and hugging me without anyone around us even noticing (somehow).
Eventually when the tour ended, we decided to hang out and discuss a whole number of things. As we were wrapping up this discussion, she decided to take more physical action, and pulled closer to me. I tried to pull away, and that was when my parents walked in on us and scolded me, with me being like and telling them it's not what it looks like.
After all of this happened, my girlfriend joined me on a wild ride in a futuristic car in an even more futuristic looking city. Weirdly enough, this was in the same dream, and followed immediately after the prior events, with the mysterious girl just vanishing without a trace. The city glowed neon, and I was awed by the sights.

Annnnd that's everything. Very odd dream, but nice and vivid.
    2. From Good to Bad

Haven't remembered anything since Monday, in which I had a lucid. It seems like my recall tends to take a nosedive the days following my lucid dreams. In any case, I finally remembered a dream this morning after having an absolutely terrible day on Thursday. Nothing was going right, and I was in a terrible mood for the entire day up till I went to bed. Seems to have given me a sad dream.

I was at my house, except it was very warped and different from my normal house. Part of it was modified so that an entire wall looked like it was the night sky, and it opened outward into an expanse of sea, where many people (whom my dreamself considered friends) were swimming and having a good time.
I decided to join in, and went for a relaxing swim for a while. The water was nice and warm.
After finishing up my swim, it was time for me to go to work (in the dream). I headed to work with my girlfriend, with me behind the wheel and her sticking her head out the passenger side window enjoying the breeze. Things took a sudden turn for the worse when, out of no where, a huge chunk of metal came flying off of a nearby vehicle, slamming into my girlfriend and knocking her out of the car. She was killed.
Afterwards, a medical team recovered her body, and I made funeral arrangements with one of my coworkers, who just so happened to be nearby. Once things were squared off, I headed back home, uncertain of my future now that my girlfriend was gone.

-takes a deep breath- A not so great day and a not so great dream (aside from the swimming part). I am glad I remembered one though, so
    3. "Hey, I feel like I'm spinning..."

by , 05-24-2012 at 01:11 PM (Exploring My Mind)
I recalled a handful of dreams last night, but upon being awake for too long, could only remember this one. Anyways.
Me, my friends Pasqual and Brent, and my Aunt Mindy were all headed to this strange place a place that I can't remember the name of to go get something that was very similar to gasoline.
I hopped in the backseat of the car with my aunt while my two friends took the front seats. As we were riding, I started to have this really odd, strange sensation. Suddenly, it felt like I was spinning in circles in the back seat of the car.
Not like, spinning in place. Like, I was basically floating up and down and around the back seat. I tried to push a hand or a foot out to touch something, anything, to stop the odd sensation. It worked, and everything returned to normal. My aunt was staring at me like I was a lunatic. I explained,
"I think I just had sleep paralysis!"
Okay, that's just silly. SP in a dream? I think I know why dream-me came to this conclusion. Before I went to bed IRL that night, I felt a really odd tingly sensation in my hands and feet, and after a few minutes of this, my foot jerked and slammed down on the bed, and I heard loud breathing and footsteps. This made me think of SP, which probably carried over to the dream.
"Yeah, that must be it," Aunt Mindy said. I couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not.
We arrived at this odd place to get that gasoline-like thing. As we walked in, an old man hobbled over to me carrying a large, spiky chunk of wood, and something that looked like a deformed chisel. He handed me both, laughed, and said, "Alright, sonny, now make a perfect cube out of that." I looked up in disbelief, thinking, I can't do this! I looked around and noticed his old friends were watching me, expecting me to do it.
I sort of forget what I did here, but, After working with the odd chisel device, a severely scarred and deformed cube was the result of my hard work. I showed it to the old ladies watching, and laughed, saying, "It's something, right?" They laughed with me. The old guy turned me around and berated me for not being able to make the perfect cube, and he then snatched away the two items. From that point, I was extremely sad till I woke up.

    4. The Dusty Town

by , 04-17-2012 at 06:33 PM (Exploring My Mind)
I was with my friend, Aaron, and some other kid who I didn't know. We were at an odd warehouse, in the middle of a dusty, old looking town. Aaron said he had to go, and drove away in his car. I waved goodbye, and started to take a walk.
Soon after, I ran into none other than Aaron himself. I wondered, I thought he was leaving...?
      "Hi!"
"Hey, follow me," he said. Okay...? I followed him, curious as to what he'd want to show me.
We ended up in another large warehouse, and this one had a large, rusty looking car in it. The car had a dusty, flame decal painted on the sides. Aaron said, "Behold!" and waved to the car. It was pretty cool looking.
BUT THEN. For whatever reason, these small, strange, white crabs started crawling from the roof and down to us. They were snapping their pincers at us as a threat. Aaron grabbed a pipe and started hitting them.

And then I woke up. Dun dun dunnn. That dream was really odd. I liked the environment of it though. It was like an abandoned city, all dusty and rusty. Gave off a cool feel. anyways.
This dream was actually a lot longer than this, but I forgot a lot of it after waking. Oh well.
