Awww...sorry about your loss, thats such a nice dream, i love those ones really makes you feel so close to them,

I have often had stressful dreams that mirror things that are going on in real life. If I were to have the second part of this dream I would feel that it was because I am making many positive changes in my life. My inner critic, along with some of my friends, are fighting this change. The fact that you got out of the car would make me think that I would be fighting to to stay safe and perhaps to get away from a dangerous situation.

These are my interpretations based on my own experiences. Perhaps you are living through something similar, or perhaps (and more likely) I am way off topic. Either way,
