      Ugh..., I hate to comment on my own dreams. But just ruminating over my weekend chores, I realized that "Gen Schele" has everything to do with the Rothschilds. So I wanted to get my idea down.

      The first Rothschild to start up the money-making dynasty was Mayer Amschel Rothschild. His family lived in Frankfurt in the 1700s. In those times, Jews weren't allowed to have last names (another shining example of Western "civilization"). So the Jews would take their names from the signs in front of their houses. The Rothschilds got their name from the red ("roth") shield ("schild") in front of their house.

      As Mayer got wealthier, however, he moved to a house with a green shield in front of it. As I read about Mayer, it kept bothering me -- how would you say "green shield?" But I was too lazy to go to Google Translate to find out. So I kept turning names around in my head, like "Groeneschild," "Groenschild," and "Grueneschild."

      The connection to Satanism probably has to do with the fact that Mayer had a secret bank underground. This reminds me of Mithraism, the underground religion of Ancient Roman times. Mithraism, as far as I know, isn't connected to Satanism in any practical way. But they are both connected in a symbolic way -- since they are both religions of the unconscious.

      (EDIT, 1/9/12, 8:03 PM ET: Another comment, within this comment, for my own purposes, so I don't make this thing pop back up on the recent comments screen and bore everybody with my nonsense.

      I was really curious to see if anybody had been banned from the United States like the woman in my dream -- Piti. I found out that on Friday, Livia Acosta Noguera, a consul in Miami from Venezuela, had been expelled from the U.S.

      The news was big on Sunday, right around the time I was writing the dream. Probably some time between Friday and Sunday I heard or saw the news on the internet and just processed it into my mind.

      Here is a photo of Livia Acosta Noguera -- the curtains behind her are grey and blue. The dress of "Piti" in my dream was blue-grey. "Piti" in my dream, by the way, did not look like Livia Acosta Noguera.)

      It sounded like you had a great opportunity to become lucid. Flying around--and even practicing flying? Wow!...with control? I guess those dreams are fun regardless, but too bad you didn't figure it out!
      That just about sums it up for me in general.

      Lot's of houses in these dreams. I think you were hungry whilst asleep. The part with the guy in the bedroom is pretty amusing. After all that work, and being so hungry, you get chastised and can't even eat!

      I <3 those budweiser frogs and I might have decent control over some things in dreams but I swear to god, finding Auron or any of my other guides on-demand is near impossible. So guess it's a give and take.

      As far as the status thing goes, you'd be surprised. Auron is going through something similar. In fact, he was trying to get to a beach (whereas you were at one) and he was held back by people as he tried to leave (as were you). That's funny about knowing big, fat, bloated frogs in waking life.

      I have just one thing to say on the topic of people holding other people back (OH! Random thought, black crab syndrome!):

      Thanks for the nice comments, Kaomea!

      I faintly remember remembering some really big bullfrogs I'd seen in my childhood. So I think that's how I justified the huge frogs.

      I also think I watched too much Disney as a kid. So if an animal talks to me, it seems perfectly normal. Or -- I also keep getting a picture of the Budweiser frogs in my head whenever I think of the frogs in my dream.

      I love the fact that you personally have so much control over your dreams that, if you wanted to go back to the frog river, you probably could!

      I think the status thing had to do with issues from my own life. There are definitely people I think of in my life right now as big, fat, bloated frogs -- who are blocking my path, or forcing me off of it altogether. But blah, blah, blah. Nobody wants to hear the violins.

      You have a very analytical mind and I LOVE the part about the frogs... from them speaking to you, you speaking to them, the fact they had a higher status than you, and also how you felt like you were making them feel uncomfortable. How funny to see those traits in frogs. What were you thinking though? Did you realize any of it was strange during or after the dream? I would've been like, "HOLY CRAP! THIS FROG CIVILIZATION IS SO AWESOME, HOW DID I NOT VISIT THIS PLACE SOONER?!"

      Thanks, as always, for the insights, Kaomea. What you say is exactly what I'm still trying to figure out for my waking life. I seem to have a better grip on it in my dreams -- sometimes! -- than I do in waking life.

      What a sweet passage. Completely relative to your dream. That's always the odd thing about critism. Sometimes it's completely valid and other times it stems from irrational fears of the person doing the critism. It's always nice to find more ways to be pleasing to others but knowing which people to please, if any, is tricky at times (for me). Looks like you have things pretty well sorted out, so that's good.

      Hi Superchaz. Thanks for the comments.

      That last part is like in a movie where a character reads a letter and the person that wrote it reads the rest.
      That's an interesting comparison. It matches the atmosphere of the dream really well.

      I also find that dreams are good for changing your behaviour. I try to use dreams as simulations for situations that can get awkward and whatnot so that I know how to handle the sitch.

      Nice dream. That last part is like in a movie where a character reads a letter and the person that wrote it reads the rest.

      Aww but ya know, sometimes the sweetest things we can do are speechless. However, I guess most people aren't exceptionally well-versed in non-verbal communication. I hate waking up from a dream feeling guilty. To combat that I've found it best to avoid having a conscious ...

      Nice dream about the brainwashing of paranormal kids. Well, not nice that it happened but it's an interesting idea to ponder.

      As an example of this, the man said, "One time Monoloque told me, 'A man hasn't really done anything with his life until he's directed a film.' As if anybody who hasn't directed a film really isn't a man! Well -- this was only right after he'd directed his first film!"
      That's the kind of detail I love in a dream.

      She was being really insistent and mean -- almost like my mom had her spirit combined with one of my old shithead co-workers.
      Nice!

      Whatever I'd done in the antenna-nest had probably started this mess, too.
      Lol!

      It was like whatever the problem was with his computer, it had turned real and left the computer. The guy was trying to smash it and kill it, or poke it back into the computer, or something. He really seemed to be raging.
      Awesome!

      Thanks for those comments, Kaomea. I agree with you. I especially agree when you say that it seems stuff like that is linked to other facets of the personality.

      I'm really repressed, anyway. That's for sure. But it's nice to hear, every once in a while, from a person who has gone through the experience of coming to terms with who they are.

      Happy holidays! The icy Dream Views logo is really fun. And the Santa Claus flying through the moon is cool, too.
      I like it too!

      ~~~
      I wanted to mention, I've noticed lately (lately as in the past month or few) many of your sexual-ish dreams all seem to have this urge for you to repress your desires. Granted in many situations it would be appropriate to do so, such as when the individuals are young, which seems somewhat commonplace in your dreams but I just wanted to say that sexual desires are tough when they're repressed.
      Not saying your should give in to all or any of your desires but it might be worth pondering over why you feel worried (or at least it appears you feel worried) over some of your attractions. I've felt sexually repressed in the past and that didn't go so well for me. There was a lot of fear and worry over what others thought of me (and quite possibly what I thought of myself). It wasn't until I no longer cared, that I sought out other people with similar interests and a great sense of humor that I really learned how to understand and express myself freely. It took a bit of digging into other aspects of my life to sort out the sexual side too... seems stuff like that is linked to other facets of the personality.
      Just stuff to ponder... or not ponder
      Thank you! And I'm glad you have an interest for the show. It may seem childish at first, but I liked it because it was always interesting to see how a group of kids can save the world from a multi-agent called XANA.
      They're having a new season next year, can't wait for that.
