Like sands through the hour glass, so are the dreams of our nights.

      Haunted House

Other dreams I had of this Haunted House later: Haunted House

I was with one or two friends in a house. I don't know what was going on. Somehow the house was haunted. I left the house and drove away.

A friend was watching us leave as though from the computer. Perhaps I dreamed that part because I was on video conference last night.

I went through the city that this friend lived in, and that I recognized as "The Springs" and then remembered more clearly as "Altamont Springs," an actual place in Florida. I was seeing this in 3rd person perspective.

Then I started going through the down town area. It was like a five-way intersection. There was a festive atmosphere as though it was a tight-knit community.

      Dream Skip

I'm back at the haunted house. I'm with my friend--I think it is MJ. We are going back to get something out of a room that we had locked up.

We had to go into a room, then go up a couple steps to open a small door in the back of that room and unlock a sliding lock.

Neither of us wanted to be the first one to go because it was scary. We were running to get this done as though the sooner we could do what we were doing, the better chance we had that the haunting would not have started, but I was afraid, so I slowed down so MJ could run ahead of me. He slowed down too.

Some how, he ended up going first. I had locked the place down, so he should be the one to open it back up.

We got in the building, and I heard my FC T.M. over an intercom saying that we needed to hurry and put in the alarm code or we would hear the most unpleasant sound we'd ever heard. He said they knew how to make the experience very unpleasant.

I put my fingers in my ears, then I started worrying about a smell that would be horrible and dangerous. It would be part of the haunting.

One of us opened the door to the room we were trying to get into. There was a small refrigerator and something in front of it blocking access. Dream logic made me have to go to the back of the room to open a door and unlock that sliding lock to get what we came back for.

I didn't want to go in there because the evil spirit was in this room. I explained how to unlock it, and I got closer to doing it myself, but I never did, nor do I think he actually did it.

Now we were back to the refrigerator. There as a six-pack of ginger-beer. We had to get them out of the frige and leave quickly.

I was afraid of a green fog that was going to fill the room. It was going to be like an evil gas preceding the spirit that was going to come get us.

My friend finally got the door to the frige opened. He was having trouble getting the sodas. Should he get the whole six pack which would be kind of awkward? Just throw them to me one by one I told him.

He started to, but now we were ready to leave. We ran out and went around a culdesac in the neighborhood. There was a guy with a camera threatening to take pictures of us for doing something illegal. I was afraid, but there was nothing I could do.

We went around the culdesac and he started taking pictures, but as we left, it wasn't such a big deal.

      Lion

A lion trainer let me get near a lioness. We were walking up a flight of stairs and it came up to me. I didn't really feel it, but it rubbed up against me and went all around me. At one point it got on my back.

At that point, I felt extremely vulnerable, as though it could turn not so happy to be near me and kill me. It got down and stayed very close to me.

The night before, I'd been chatting with a DV member about cats and how much we love them rubbing up against us.
