My Wapped Dreamscape

Finally a long and memorable dream in full technicolour.

I was in a typical open plan office where several people were working, I knew them to be the offices of the "One to One" Web Hosting Company and I was looking for some leaflets to take with me.

As I walked around the offices, (which I think was based on Quarry House where I used to work), I could see the staff staring at me. I continued 'round noting two small tower computers and thinking to myself that that must be where they store everybodys web sites. On my second circuite I found that there were fewer members of staff, but I did meet a pretty ladywith dark brown curly hair dressed in smart casual clothes. She said that she'd been working there for twenty years it felt like she was on a treadmill day in day out. I agreed with her saying I felt the same with my job. I then asked her for some leaflets explaining that I left my Toonstopia cartooning site to run out but wanting tostartposting again, (the scene changed to the memory of my seeing the site run out, but returned to the narative once I stopped thinking about it). She then returned with a big handful of the same leaflet.

I then took the lift to the ground floor and walked just out of the building in a sheltered area when I noticed it was raining and others were leaving lighting up cigarettes before running off. I realised that I had left my favorite electronic cigarette upstais in my desk and was left with one that gave an inferior amount of vapour. I considered leaving and buying a pack of cigarettes, but decided I would be better off going back and getting it.

I turned around and got in a lift which had three buttons, "M", "0" and "1". I presses the "1" button and the lift travelled forward then up and I got out on the first floor. I then took the stairs to the second floor, stopping half way up to go to the loo. Then as I was coming to the second floor, the corridor to the second floor door narrowed. I started crawling towards the door, but as I progressed, the corridor got narrower and narrower. I decided I wouldn't be able to make it so backed out then went up the stairs to the third floor and found that to get to this floor I had to climb onto a file draw which had wheels on the bottom, smash my way through a wooden flowery patterned trellis and climb through the hole I had made. I managed to do this with difficulty, then as I was orienting myself, I wondered how many of the ladies will still be in the office.

At this point I woke up.
