The Dream Magic Experiment

I was in a game or playing a game. The setting is a dystopian future. I was alternately watching and being in the game. There were cameras in various places, even in rooms. There was one room where there are two guys talking to the camera. They're acting like they're just some typical guys fooling around but away from the camera, they were plotting something.

Escape. Top-down view. Reminds me of Mario RPG.

Morning dream:

I was at a school. I have a duty. Shin. Game . Withdraw.

Afternoon dream:

Night. There were zombies. We were going to take the train. I saw the train: it's a bullet train, and the sides are open but people inside don't seem to be flying out nor do they seem worried. The mood is like that before or after heavy rain. The surrounding looks destroyed. Some buildings were leveled; none were more than 1-storey high. I can see the debris all over the place, but the train looks new and undamaged.

We walked. We took a bus? We passed by the airport. I saw Jm on the stands, like in the sports arena. People there are waiting for their plane. He's going to take a vacation outside Manila, I thought. He didn't see me but he was looking at something in my direction. We went on. I was going to take the plane too. I was going home.

- I took phenelephrine before sleeping but also coffee. The medicine was stronger than the coffee.

I traveled to BGC to a condo unit. I think Rob and/or Lico was there.

Someone needed to take a cab. I wrote down a number for GrabCar or something.

I was lining up in the MRT. There's a sale in a mall nearby. People are also lining up, but they're on tiles (like in Civilization). I moved a bag on one tile out so people can use it. Or I think someone else took out the bag.

There was a game of some sort where everybody wins an apple. Literally one piece of apple. I thought that was ridiculous.

I was on a rooftop of a building. Alex and Bishie were there I think. They're playing around. I can see the height from the edge of the roof of the building. Several stories high.

A videogame. An old man and a monster. "Panga-yao."

I was talking with a person about how Jews are gaining power and oppressing everyone else, including Muslims. There's a hint of anti-Semitism and conspiracy theory. I mentioned to the person how hypocritical that is, defending one religious group (Muslims) while demonizing another (Jews). The person tried to it dismiss it and change the topic.

- Most of the dream was hazy but the last part where I was arguing with the person was very lucid. Too bad it ended quickly.
- The person is familiar in real life but I forgot his/her name.

I was dreaming about an event that keeps happening. It's like a game where I failed a task and so I have to do it all over again. Something about being caught or something waking up.

I was looking down at a map and seeing some marker that represents me or us moving on a road from west to east. We reached an area and it zoomed in to the action. We're in a dorm of sorts. I kept failing the task and waking up or being caught. I had to do it all over. I tried thinking how else I can do it where I won't fail.

I felt anxious.

Notes:

- I was feeling sick. Headache and all, and my body aches due to training in Ninja Academy. It was also awfully hot.
- Slept for like over 8 hours.

I was in a strange city by the lake. It's like a newly found city. If anything, it felt like Lys (The City and the Stars, Arthur C. Clarke) in the aftermath of Alvin's actions. Everyone's helping build the place. There's also an area underwater that's reminiscent of Bioshock I & II.

We were hauling some ships from underwater (lake) to discover what they have. There were some fish-men who rose either from the lake or from the ships. We had to hurry back and "close" the rock-doors around the lake/crater. We built the city near the lake and felt we had to abandon the place and look for another one.

* Lucid

I was seeing monsters all over the place. Everything was hazy but active. I was being transformed into a monster. I felt my body transforming/being moved. I was nervous. Then I became lucid. I knew it was a dream. I sat on a half-lotus position and focused on my breath like I was doing before sleeping. The movements slowed down, the transformation stopped, everything became still.

I was in school, or felt something like school. I was also at home in our hometown. I was playing a fighting game in an arcade. Or a fighting-adventure game. I lost to a bunch of goons and had second thoughts of continuing the game (during the countdown-game over phase). I decided to continue at the very last moment. I was fighting bosses now. I used a flying kick on one and he caught it. My character was just floating with one leg held by the boss. I "pushed" him back so that he rotated vertically (on one leg!) but it was nothing to him.

I was in our condo. I went to the elevator. I wanted to go to the ground floor. There are a lot of people. I just remembered that I forgot to bring something and considered going back to our unit. Then, almost simultaneously, three elevators opened and people filed in. I went back to our unit to get whatever it was that I forgot.

I was in a plaza/park in a school. We were doing QM (quadrupedal movement) on the rails. It was daytime.

I vaguely remember something about an RPG. Nine squares on the screen to complete something. Riding horses up a cliff or plateau.

I was in a construction site. We needed permit of some sort. We were in a hurry.

We need to escape. There's a game.

6? am

I took a jeep to an unknown place. A target and a battle. "What is your 'why?'"

A 2D game. I summon trees to fight. It's like Heroes of Might and Magic, where my team is on the left side and the enemy is on the right.

A group of students learning from a master (or masters). If they want to survive (the cold), they need to cuddle together.

I was a Megaman type of character. I was younger than I am. My suit was removed from me by someone or something. My AI computer? I am in a dark room. I entered another dark room to get a floating gem (like you do in some computer games). It's like Megaman Legends, first-person. I'm too afraid to go around in the dark areas.

7:15 a.m. - day dream + MILD

9:23 am

{An initiation in Tibetan Buddhism? (no idea what an initiation in Tibetan Buddhism is like, or even if there's one) I was lying face down on the floor/mat. One man stepped on my back to massage me as well. It didn't hurt, and I barely felt anything. There was chanting that I don't understand, and an instruction that I should hold the paper with some characters on my toes. I find it hard to hold on to them, but I persisted. Then I was taught the first character: "Ba". I was shown how the character is written, but one of the guys there is blocking my view, with his legs. I think it was unintentional. I was asked what it means, and I think I know, but I simply forgot. I was chastised, and reminded with clues. It ended with the meaning 'store,' like a place where you buy stuff, but it seems it has also the meaning of 'storing energy.' It was just one character out of a whole set. I think 'te' means hands, like kara-te. But I never got to that point.

I was in a place where people are racing in toy cars. Supposedly for kids, adults are the ones driving them in a race track.

I was at home in our hometown. People were talking inside the house. Outside, I noticed some peculiarities. It was barely visible, but I saw the shadows of planets on the sky, and one huge planet in particular. Or maybe it was a black hole. All I know is that there are small black circles and one huge black circle on the sky. I tried taking them on my trusty camera, cursing myself for not charging the battery before. Fortunately, it still works. I captured the photos. The sky looks different. Instead of the usual blue sky and white clouds, it's mostly dark violet, with a ranging yellow and orange sun that looked more like a moving painting, a few points of lights that must be the stars, and the black spheres that must be the shadows of the planets, or probably black holes. And there's the huge one. I'm positive it's a planet, and not the black hole. I showed everyone, but they can't see them. I showed them the pictures, but they said they're tricks of lights or just unclear.

Some friends and I are playing a computer game. A shooting game with robots and all in first person. We were losing to an opponent who can summon small robotic allies that have low health but are annoying. Together, they can defeat every single one of us. I think my robot was defeated and I watched a friend's robot trying to escape the small black robots. I got so irritated, I brought them out in real life. They were standing on a ledge just under the roof of the mall. I challenged them and threw a basket at them. It almost reached them. I saw the traffic nearby. There's a cop stopping a car for something. I was thinking of grabbing that car and throwing it up. I just walked away.

I think there was some sort of panic. I am looking at a blonde boy. He received some sort of package, but were told (not sure by who) not to open it. Then everything just went wild, with friends and allies walking around in some sort of middle-age market, along with the people already present. The 'owner' of the town was talking with a guy, both friends of mine (don't know them irl), and the guy asked if there's lotion around. The owner just talked mostly nonsense. He talked so much he didn't notice that guy already went away. He talked about how rude that was, etc. We met with another friend, who owns a caravan, and we talked a bit. S/He looks dressed in maroon, looking very rich. He reminds me of an image of one of the reincarnation of a Hindu deity, except that of the usual blue, he's brown. After a while, we came across the guy looking for a lotion, and he just smiled shyly and walked away. Then the owner met with two of our fiercer friends who enjoy challenges, and who challenges each other quite often. They ran around the market fighting (not sure how), overturning and/or destroying everything in their path. One reminds me of Hercules, not the cartoon one. He has long, dirty-blonde hair, a strong almost-wild face, and muscular body. The other guy was not so clear, but I think he has black hair. Both have incredible strength. At this point, the owner's features are clearer. He has a mustache, with a top hat? His clothing reminds me of Steampunk, and I think he was riding a vehicle that is very much Steampunk.}

I am with some friends. We were escaping from some people, or maybe just hiding. We were in our high school, near the quadrangle. It looked like a forest there.

Then a van passes by. It's M., my high school crush (who I was obsessed with). He invites us in, although I am wary. I sat in the front row of the van, near the window. The others are sitting behind.

M. sits beside me, to my right. I am hesitant, but after a while, I put my head on his left shoulder, and we held hands, both hands resting on our legs.

I am in some sort of abandoned building at night. It's in the middle of some city. The PLUS people appear, and we talk. Not sure of what.

i think my dream self is partially aware, teaching me how to lucid dream. We are in some sort of technological facility, and it feels more like a game.


NOTES:

I slept at around 11 p.m., and I watched United States of Tara most of the day. I also wrote some pieces of a story about a wanderer. I was very emotional when I wrote it, in love perhaps? Before sleeping, I recall thinking about how to add a crushing ending.

Lessons in a town. Trapped. A bookstore. Looking around. Saw a cute guy. Smoke. No more Marlboro Black. Tricycle ride. Going somewhere. Map. Town. Rent a game.

I was in a Mario-type game, in the real world. I was jumping. Then there was a rex creature. I stomped on it and it became smaller. Koopa invader. It was in our college, out in the front of the coliseum. I was assigned to attach the "flags" (more like spears), that the creatures were after. I felt hesitation. I was told to attach them right out in the open. Shouldn't we be hiding them? I attach some near the bookstore. The sky is darkening.

A replay.

I was playing Mario World. I was in Yoshi's Island, in the number 2 spot, I think, the one on the right of Yoshi's place. When I moved to the 3rd spot on the island, I found out that, aside from fire flower and cape, if Mario takes two mushrooms, he can float like a balloon.

I then reached the 1st spot of the Donut plains. In first person mode, I got a feather and tried to fly. I was on the upper portion of the Vanilla cave, where there's a puffin whale chasing you all the time. I turned into a balloon to fly away from it.

I was in Libertad market, where the Bata, Mandalagan and San Agustin jeeps pass by. I was facing east; it is early morning, around 7 am. I realized I was dreaming. I tried to fly, and I flew a few feet of the ground, and landed on the roof of a store. I told myself I'm dreaming, and was so happy, and I said "fly." I can see great details of the area, but the colors are like very detailed. I told myself to be aware. It started to get hazy. I commanded "clarity." I felt my headache, and chest pains due to my asthma (in real waking life), and I woke up.

NOTE: I slept around 12:30 am, hard-of-breath, and I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep. Played some music and motivational CDs in the background. Focused on counting, but fell asleep almost immediately. I watched LP: Shadow of the Colossus on YouTube before sleeping and completed the entire series. I woke up from the alarm around 5:30 am. I didn't turn it off, and went back to sleep, trying to focus on a scene, for a MILD.

I was on a quest. I was on a roof. I am hiding stuff. Or building? It was like I was playing a game and was in the game. I also recall home and Don Bosco.

I was walking with sir Ted, going to a class. I recall a bus and a magnet train. Then I was going to use a parachute with someone, and to do a paraglide. Or I think there were two different pairs doing each.

I went to a school of some sort, where there were toys and stuff.
