Yeah, I'd enjoyed some of the discussions we'd had and I'd always think, hey, let's check out his DJ. Glad you decided to do it! I've got a strong tendency to procrastinate so I know all about projects that go months of being "in the near future", heh heh heh...

Geez, you're right. Once I've hit a reality check (especially one of the really serious ones like nose pinch), I just assume I'm in the dream. No seconds thoughts. Ah well, I'm sure it's just one of those freak things. Often times, this type of weird stuff never comes back.
It's only logical, I'll make sure that doesn't cut me short again. Live and learn, dream and learn!

Touche, it's just like acting, if you're enough of a good actor eventually your acting can be perceived as reality. In waking life that reality is limited to your body, the manifestation of your being. In the dream your being is spread everywhere!! How about that?

Yeah it was always a postponed little project of mine, for many months something I would do in the near future. xD It's very enjoyable though so I'll be going at it for a long time!

I'm suprised you took notice! I guess you might've seen me popping up a lot here and there on member's dream journals, I love peaking at the different perspectives and approaches to the dream reality it really helps me get nice and motivated so I always try to to show my appreciation back. Ironically I didn't share my own experiences up until recently but right now that's fixed.

Yes absolutely! It was one of the reasons I tried to create a dream scenario instead of just jumping right in, I was afraid I would move for real. It was a more or less legitimate concern but at the same time that happened after getting a positive nose pinch RC, well well... next time Micael. XD

Cool, man, I was wondering when you'd start up a Dream Journal! I've checked from time to time in the past and I was always surprised that you didn't have a DJ of your own.

Don't you hate that sensation of your real body moving? I get that from time to time. One thing that seems to help for me is when I'm WILDing, I try to "will" myself to perform whatever action I'm performing rather than use my muscles. For example, if I'm rolling off of the bed or performing a nose pinch RC, I'll will myself to do these things rather than try to activate my muscles. That seems to be a reliable way to keep myself from getting confused between my dream body and waking life body.

I agree. Confidence is such an important part of dream control that it's worth doing what it takes to boost that. They say you should "fake it till you make it" in waking life, but this goes even moreso in dreams. Anything we "fake" here almost always winds up becoming reality!

And yes. I hate alarm clocks.

Yes that was my thinking right there. Besides I really think some role playing once in a while can really be a plus, not only to spice things up but also to greatly boost expectation while performing dream control because since you are the king those are simply your "perks" so it's only natural for the manifestation to come instantly. That "passion and euphoria" were further emotional fuel to my role and then...... *beep* *beep* *beep* You're right, this ended way too soon.

I let out a passionate and euphoric shout into the air "Your king is back! May the queen of my dream world please step foward!
LOL... I know it feels silly but what you said is not even an exaggeration. You really are the king there. I love how it turned into a fighting competition. This one ended way, way too soon. Why do these alarm clocks have to ruin everything?

Congrats on the LD and the FA / near-LD!

I was in my bed and I did a nose pinch RC which turned out positive, I tried to picture a dream scenario but didn't wait long and as I couldn't I tried to move my arm and I managed. My mistake was thinking that I moved my real arm and had woken up which later on I would find I didn't.

At this point I really wasn't using any method I think, I was just recording dreams to build up my recall and start aiming for lucids with some ground beneath my feet. Recall is vital.

I might have been doing a couple RC's here and there but nothing major, I think this one was a natural result of previous practice.

Keep your hopes up, don't get too much expectation going but believe in yourself... soon with the right kind and amount of dedicated work you will be amazed at how easy it is to have a lucid here and there, then, you just have to escalate that.

Check out some guides from the veterans around the community if you haven't, there's a lot of great ones around. Don't forget KingYoshi he is very, very skilled and has a lot of material around here.

What method were you using to induce the lucid dream?
