At work in the maintenance shop talking to other maintenance guys. One of them has dry skin on his face and they are discussing ways to prevent, treat and cure dry skin. The scene shifts and we are on the plant floor which looks a little more like a convention centre than usual. We are following a guy who works for a company that provided us with an air dryer system for our compressors.

We stop in front of the new unit and we all lean in to hear what he is saying. There is lots of ambient noise as usual. He starts going through operation of the machine and basic maintenance. He stresses that we should try to conserve battery life by keeping the volume down on the machine. ..."There has been allot of places that I've visited where the operators had the alarms all the way up and I'm just sick of it."....He continued by saying we should keep it as quiet as someone doing technical work at a nuclear plant (like they needed to concentrate heavily)

I asked how we would be able to hear the machine if we had it so quiet.. My brain must have been thinking about music because I asked if there was an 1/8th inch audio jack....."What??"..."Is there an 1/8th inch audio jack?... Then I thought I spotted one "Oh there it is....wait that is just an ethernet port," I went on to suggjest that they get some sort of wifi / bluetooth thing going on because it would be realy hard to hear the alarm otherwise.

I am at a party in a large warehouse and people are dancing. It still a pretty big room but small by comparison. There are disco lights and smoke. There are several groups between me and my girlfriend who I see dancing and having a good time. I am extremely tired and because of the setting I started to feel drunk like I haven't been in a long time. Next to me is a really cute girl dancing and she starts to flirt with me. I'm too tired to participate and besides I have a girlfriend. I lean up against the wall. I close my eyes and start to slide down the wall till I am lying on the floor. I didn't want my girlfriend to see me drunk but still was wishing she would come take care of me.

I fall asleep for a bit. When I wake up the lights are out and everyone had gone to sleep where they were. A giant quilt covered the whole room and only the people along the wall could pop their heads out. Most had paired up but nothing sexy had gone on. I wondered why my girlfriend hadn't laid down next to me. Instead, the flirt was next to me and she was playing with my hair and starting to cuddle up. I was way to tired to move and so I let her do her thing. Our legs were touching when I sat up to see where my girlfriend was. I couldn't see here but thought that she was probably one of the lumps under the quilt about 15' away where she had been dancing.

Still exhausted I plop back down to the floor. The flirt plays with my hair some more and then I hear my girlfriends voice saying something along the lines of "WTF...what is going on here.. you letting her..."...I don't have an explanation. I'm to tired to give an explanation. Being as tired as I was would have worked but I was to tired to even think of that. For those few moments my GF was pissed but then she became totally unconcerned.

Apparently she had been loving the huge climbing wall in the next room and was climbing alone while everyone slept. The flirt and I followed her there as she put on fall protection and a hard hat (like I have at work). The climbing wall covered every wall of this part of the warehouse and extended across the ceiling. There was also metal scaffolding and walkways above the middle of the floor.

I felt concerned that my GF had been climbing without someone to watch her. Trying not to sound too bossy I ask her not to climb by herself because it is dangerous. I say something about needing to go home but GF says that we don't exactly have one of these at home and wants to keep climbing. As the dream fades I see more of what is in the warehouse. There is heavy industrial extrusion dies with eye hooks on them. Climbing rope and chains are run though the eye hooks...............Wake up

I need to practice my reality checks more often geez. lol.

Location: Small, slightly worn, white walled room filled with different types of equipment and a dentist like chair. Their were two door ways. One was regular sized and the door itself had long bin pulled off its hinges and removed. The other had double sliding barn-like doors that where open. Outside was covered by a series of large metal eaves and had fenced in areas where animals were kept. There was also a long red barn that was sectioned into stalls. The ground outside was covered in hay and dirt except for the majority of a paved area that ran along side the barn.

I was inside with a bunch of ex co-workers (from a job I had a long time ago) who for some reason decided to kill another more recent ex co-worker of mine. Any way they wound up electrocuting him by some means and then proceeded to attempt to make it look like an accident. I was absolutely shocked at what I was watching and afraid I would also get in trouble for the murder if I was caught there with them. I was also afraid to just walk out like I saw nothing.

The group laid the victim on the dentist like chair which had a large overhanging screen with lights and such in it. Then they hooked up a welder, put handle in his hand and made him weld on the screen. The handed me a melted plastic welding cup and made me smell it. It smelled like burnt plastic. Just then a man came through the small door and was saying something but I don't think he saw the body. The victim was now on his side facing me and the chair looked more like a tanning booth with room for him to poke his dead head through. The man turned around and jogged out to where the foreman would be. I imagine the foreman to be a pretty big yet older and easy going cowboy.

Very nervously I grab my back pack filled with books and quickly walk out of the room through the barn-like doors. I head up the paved section along the barn and get in a conversation with a group of guys their which included the man who had maybe seen the body. Then I notice my back pack in the mud and all my books are soaked. I was upset but the man explained to me a good reason for tossing them in the mud(perhaps my involvement with some recent shady goings on). I told him that it wasn't that bad because I don't need them any more.

Buying Alcohol
I find myself in the back seat of Donna's PT Cruser. Anna is in the front passenger seat and Donna is driving. Donna pulls onto a slopped parking lot and parks in front of a cheap liquor store. The store had a metal railing to the left side that where the parking lot dipped down a few feet. Behind the liquor store and down the sloped parking lot was a large wall-mart sized warehouse.

Inside the store we met up with a a cleaned up version of Diana and "Pirate" Bob. We were going to go party somewhere.... I hadn't seen any beer that seemed to appetizing to me,, but while we were waiting in line I went to the back and picked out some vodka and juice. (note I had vodka and juice at my friends house the night before.) I then went outside for a smoke.

I stood by the railing smoking and when the group came out talking I wondered over to the warehouse to explore and the dream transitioned.


Unsafe Work Conditions
Inside the warehouse I was starting a new job as an electro-mechanical assembler. The lighting was extremely poor and there were people grinding, cutting, and welding all over the place. Sparks flew on to the floor which was cluttered with flammable materials. Power tools where left plugged in, strung across the floor and running by themselves. I almost let my leg bump into a running chop-saw that had no top or bottom guard leaving the blade completely exposed.

I walk over to a guy with a tape-measure and watch him for a minute. He makes several random measurements on the floor, moving the tape at different angles, and occasionally measuring off the floor. Then he makes a scratch on the concrete and repeats the process. I accidentally step on the tape measure and notice that it is completely worn out at the end. I ask the guy why all the power tools have bin left on. "To keep the flickering light down while I finish cutting this (pipe/thing)"

The scene transitions again and I'm back in the warehouse where I started but the lights are back on and everything is well lit. Carts with sheet metal, brackets, and metal frames are being lined up on the floor to build machines. Two random guys who need work instructions come over but don't draw my attention to much. Rob R. shows up too and we look over the plans hanging on an easel. An girl from the office comes out with signs with job numbers and due dates and tapes them to the carts. I find everything extremely disorganized and joke with Rob about who (him or me) is going to be in charge and take responsibility for leading the builds and completing all the paperwork.

Memorable

Was getting picked up by my Mom from work at Safeway at night. It was raining really hard and when I got in the car the storm got so bad that the wind whipped our car around and you couldn't see anything through the down-poor. For some reason I got out and looked up at the sky which began to show breaks in the thick storm clouds.

That is when I saw the giant spaceship. It was made up of a few large bulbous disks that sort of interconnected like a centipede but no much less smooth around its contour. The bottom of each disk had a very high-tech shower head like base that was creating the storm for cover.

This dream was super realistic and I had to snap myself back into reality after I woke up. So memorable I don't know why I haven't written about it yet.

Working in a wide hallway with childhood friend Thad. Note: Thad is now working at an automation company I currently interviewed at. Our task was to take a rolling cart down the hallway. Note: The rolling cart is just like the ones that we used to roll around large machines around at my last job. They are made out of steal beams and large casters. they stand about 1.5' off the ground. Anyway the hallway has a simple yet frustrating set of traps. There are two large gates about 1' apart, then a large area with spikes coming up out of the floor, then two more gates. The gates are times so that as on comes up a little the other one closes and visa versa. We settles on taking either side and going for it. For some reason I used a couple pillow to help me slide underneath. We made it to the other side so we could stand up. the spikes couldn't reach the cart. John an old restaurant owner where I used to work was there and he was our foreman. Behind the next to gates was pitch black, maybe a wall.

In a desert in Japan, I witnessed the mating habits of trucks. They were stretching an twisting together. Something very strange and organic for trucks to do.

Riding a bike down a dirt road(recurring location.) I meat someone and then double back.
At a stadium/skate-park I drive my car down some steep concrete bleachers and over to a little grassy hill where I see my mom. She seems pissed and asks "Is that Mike over there?!".....

I'm at my parents church. For some reason I think I was supposed to play some marching processional music. I'm frantically writing notes on a page. A laser tag battle breaks out with. DCs from work and the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer are there.
