    Lyrics to Lunacy

Welcome to my dream journal, Lyrics to Lunacy!
Sadly, there will be minimal singing in this DJ. But there is one, actually. [Link]

It will however, contain much excitement. This is probably because:
    -I read action books
    -I watch action movies
    -I play action games
    -I listen to action music
-I try to make my environment as full of action as I possibly can, eating sandwiches is a seriously epic event for me.

So naturally, my dreams tend to involve action, and I'll try to record my dreams as intense as my brain allows me. With luck, I will be able to inject large quantities of awesomeness into your eyeballs, and perhaps sometimes into your eardrums if you choose to listen to the action trailer-esque music I may occasionally link to to go with the writing.

    Dream goals:

    Summon a DC [ ]

Recreate the world out of trampoline fabric [ ]
    Fly [X]
    Fly again [X]
    Fly yet another time [X]

      BiscuitHappyz's Dream

More fragments last night. Sorry about that. But I do have a fun little extra...

      Fragment #1:

I had a dream that about three of my middle school friends were in, and we were walking through the sunny and not very dense pine forest outside of my elementary school. One, let's call him Yarblarblar, was yanking on my hair, and it stung a bit.

"Stop that, please," I say. Yarblarblar laughs and continues anyway.

"Stop," I said after a while of him tugging, and more assertive this time. Yarblarblar thinks this is hysterical, but ceases for the time being. I could tell he was going to do it again, though.

I saw a large stick wedged into the ground near a towering pine tree, and I got an idea. I walked slowly, waiting for Yarblarblar to resume pulling. Once he did, I pulled the stick out of the ground with my left hand, as though it was a lighter version of the Excaliber. I swung it at his ribcage, and it narrowly passed through his block. It smacked him within three seconds of when I withdrew the stick from the ground. And he hunched over, clutching his rib.

      "Owww," He moaned.

"Whoops," I said, sincerely. "Didn't mean to hit that hard, mate. You okay?"

      Fragment #2:

I was playing a Minecraft 1.8.2 patch, and was slaughtering a pack of pigs. I was in a bright green plain surrounded by rainforest. So yeah.

      Pirate version:

I had a dream that about three o' me middle school buckos were in, and we were walkin' through t' sunny and not very dense pine forest outside o' me elementary school. One, let's call him Squid-Brained Scallywag, was yankin' on me hair, and it stung a bit.

"Oi, stop that, matey, if ye will," Says I. Squid-Brained Scallywag laughs and continues anyway.

"Avast! Ye should stop now, bucko, if ye know what's good for ye." I said after a while o' him tuggin', and more assertive this time. Squid-Brained Scallywag thinks this be hysterical, but quits for t' time bein'. Avast, I could tell he was goin' t' do it again.

I saw a big arse stick wedged into t' ground near a big arse pine, and I got an idea. I walked slowly, waitin' for Squid-Brained Scallywag t' go back a pullin'. Once he did, I pulled t' stick out o' t' ground with me port hand, like it were a lighter version o' Black beard's cutlass. I swung it at his middle, and it closely sailed through his arms. It smacked the fool in three seconds from o' when I withdrew t' stick from t' ground. And he hunched over, clutchin' his rib.

      "Owww," Says he.

"Yarrr," I said, sincerely. "Get yerself out o' t' bung hole, mate. You okay?"

      Fragment #2:
I be playing Minecraft 1.8.2 patch, and was escortin' a crew o' pig to Davy Jones' Locker. I was in a bright green flatland surrounded by rainforest. Aye.

Arrr, happy yap like a man o' t' seas day to ye!

EDIT: This managed to take a spot on the Lucid Inquirer, for Dream Journal Weekly! Thanks for choosing it!

    2. 27th Shared Dreaming Attempt- BiscuitHappyz's Dream

by , 09-06-2011 at 12:42 AM (Lyrics to Lunacy)
Just fragments tonight, but I'll post them anyway.

1st fragment: I was playing a broken Minecraft adventure map, and after reading many complaints on the forums about how the map was poorly drawn and upside down and all that, I played it anyway. I glanced at a yellowed, ink-drawn map with some villages and towns marked as circles at several times throughout the dream. The dream fragment ends when I am sneaking around a dock and examining a boring ship, preparing for a voyage, from around a building.

2nd fragment: I was at an airport parking lot at dawn. I had been in this exact setting before, on vacation. I walked up to the typical reflection of a bored, unenthusiastic, minimum wage, college-aged teenager at a ticket booth. He wore a Lowe's Uniform. I was about to pay a ticket, but then
I was shocked into lucidity. It was so ungraceful I almost tipped over.
Sadly, my first thought was how lightly I was sleeping. I could start to feel the pillow under my shoulders. Focus... focus...
My eyes, in waking life, opened. After several attempts to DEILD, I decided I was too awake to fall asleep again.

    3. Triple Lucid with Minecraft, School, and the BSOD

by , 08-28-2011 at 05:35 PM (Lyrics to Lunacy)
I was barely asleep at all. I was simply observing a jumble of thoughts, the kind you get between wakefulness and dreams. More towards wakefulness. I had obviously just recently shut my eyes.

Then I remembered I was asleep. This is a dream. Is this a dream? I pondered. No, came the conclusion. I am barely asleep. Nevertheless, I tried rubbing my hands together simply for experimentation. I half expected trying to move to wake me up. But as I was successful in rubbing my hands, my senses immediately sharpened tenfold, and a dream formed around me. I could suddenly see the waving of the bright green grass below my feet. I could feel the wind on my face. But I couldn't feel my hair, I noted.

It was daytime, light was radiating off of everything, especially the grass, which almost hurt to look at. But it looked nice anyway. Different regions of the sky were colored different shades of blue, like a tye die of only blue. There were several small clouds, lit at strange angles, and it was unclear were the sun was in the sky.

I was outside of a Minecraft house on top a hill surrounded by trees. It stood on a wooden foundation, and had bright red walls of brick, almost as bright as the grass, and had a triangular wooden roof, and a few windows placed without order all around it.

I ran fast, like a ninja, and tried to summon a DC over the hill. It didn't work, and the dream transformed into my 7th grade math class. I lost a fraction of my lucidity, but I already suspected I was in a dream. I rose from my chair and walked across the room, looking for confirmation that this was a dream. The teacher didn't object to walking around the room during a lesson, but if he did I would have told him to can it. I don't want to do anything risky, in case I wasn't actually in a dream. Too late.

I impulsively pulled a student's chair out from under him, and tossed it around in the air. It was as light as a feather. I smirked. You're loosing it, I addressed my subconscious, which always finds it particularly hilarious to trick me into waking up. Get better tricks. Of course, as I thought that, I woke up.

My eyes instantly opened. I stayed still. Crap, I thought groggily, and closed my eyes again. I materialized in the dining room of my house, in another lucid dream. DEILDs were never that hard for me, but to do one barely on a whim made me really proud of myself.

My dining room was almost never used for dining, it instead was home too the three desktop computers my family uses. It's were we all spend most of our time (Being geeks and all. ), though, so it was a good replica. Almost everything in the room was wooden. Hardwood floor, a wooden bookcase, that was full to the brim in a not so orderly fashion, all the desks were made of wood, another full wooden bookcase, a wooden games shelf, wooden chairs, a and wooden table folded up against the wall. The wall wall white, though not much of it showed because it was covered by bookshelves and desks. The wall the table is folded up beside has a very large window with daylight coming through and shining onto the hardwood floor that was partially covered up by two large and colorful carpets.

I tried summoning another dream character around the corner, still without luck. Looking for another way to assert my dominance over my dreams, I tried to close the browser on my computer screen.
"Computer," I addressed it. "Close window."

It took a while. I considered flying into the computer, like in TRON, but memories of the last time I tried to fly indoors came up, and I decided against it. The browser eventually closed, but the BSOD came up, and I woke up. I had to admit though, that was hilarious.

My eyes opened, and I stayed still again. No use though, I thought, the chances of another successful DEILD are really low. My eyes flickered over the clock. Eight forty-five. Worth a shot. I closed my eyes.

I 'woke up' walking down a hallway at my school, fully lucid. Awesome.

I walked to the end of the bland hall, lie on my back, and rolled down the bland stairs at the end of it painlessly. People were laying down at the end of it, cheering at me for whatever reason. I walked out the bland door of my school and into the exciting forest. I was ambushed by a exciting ninja, and then I woke up.

My eyes opened, slowly this time, and I looked at the time. Nine seventeen. It was late, and I was too awake for another DEILD. Ah well, I was satisfied.
