    1. (291,292) Creating a Gas Planet, Developing a Lego Game

by , 05-02-2016 at 01:15 PM (Lucid Time!)

#1. I was driving a black convertible down the road and playing loud music. I saw some cops and thought they were going to pull me over, but they didn't. Later I got my car stuck and the police came to help. I thought they were going to be mad and give me a ticket, but they didn't. They were really cool about it. I promised myself I would abide by the law closer and always be nice to police.

I then remember finding this house by the beach. (I was in an unusual location. While not very interesting, it wasn't the usual my-neighborhood-overlayed-with-some-cheap-props.) So credit for that. The woman who lived at it, a 50-something single woman who looked pretty good for her age. She was supposedly the worlds best angry birds player and something of a celebrity for it.

I don't remember why or even think there was a reason for it to begin with, but I was forced into interaction with her. I felt like this whole thing was a scam. Nobody should be a celebrity just for being good at a mobile game. But then again, she wasn't THAT famous. Her house was small, she lived alone and there was no paparazzi around. She probably just made enough money to live here comfortably for the rest of her life.

      ...

I remember leaving. She was following me and I was going back to my place, a condo a little closer to the ocean. To get there, we had to ride our bikes down a sand trail at night through this huge field. She stopped saying she was out of breath and we stopped for a minute. I RC'd and became lucid. I think I said something about being lucid to the woman.

WBABP: "In order to proceed, you must meditate on the meaning of Vishnu."

      Me: "But I'm not hindu."

WBABP: "Be nike and just do it, like I did when I shot that bird at the last glass block ass. My ass." (Slaps her butt.) "And maybe you'll end up as well-off as me." (Smiles)

I don't know what came over me next. But for some reason I thought I wanted to change the look of the moon. I remember I could focus on making it lighter or darker and do so. I then discovered that I could turn the moon into molten magma and solid at will. It was pretty cool because I turned all of earth's moon into magma, then reformed it, and when I did, I cleared away all of the craters, and earth had a smooth moon now.

I then drew a pair of magic runes on the moon out of magma channels on the top and bottom. Then another pair on the sides. Then four more at a 45 degree angle. Then connected them to make an 8-pointed star. Some internal logic told me that when people draw a pentagram, it is a five dimensional shape, so they summon demons from the fifth dimension. But if you draw an 8 sided star (Octogram?) you summon very powerful beings from the 8th dimension.

Just because I was lucid didn't mean I had any idea what I was doing.

I remember an egg shape formed out of the moon magma, solidified into a smooth white egg and floated down. It hatched. It was some horrifying alien lizard creature. Something like a velociraptor but with a wider face, and it walked on all fours with really large, muscular front legs and small, thin back legs, and a tail with a spiked weapon on it. It wasn't that big, maybe the size of a horse. The thing that made it even more off-putting was that the creature didn't seem to have any skin. It looked like an anatomy diagram with just muscles and bones. (Huh maybe it really was a demon.) But because I was lucid, I wasn't at all bothered by its appearance.

It didn't act like a demon though.
I for some reason snapped back into more proper lucidity, but falsely remembered that I had a dream goal of creating a gas giant that earth would now orbit. I remembered that this creature would become the core of the gas planet. It asked me to select some flowers from around the area to help provide it information about what the planet should look like.

I picked some random flowers. The field that the bike trail went through had seemingly endless variety and color of flowers. The dream seemed to skip that part, though, because the next thing I remember was handing the being (I think the monstrous looking planet maker had moose antlers now).

"Are you sure these are the colors you want?" (The creature had a gruff, gurgle voice like you might expect from a monster, but at the same time, I could tell it was nice.)

      "Yeah"

The creature jumped off into the sky and exploded. It created an absolutely beautiful gas planet with sky-blue bands rotating one way and brownish orange bands rotating the other. I remember it had a huge blue storm like Jupiter's great red spot that I could see rotating.

I was working with Spellbee2 on the next Lego video game. We went into the bathroom together to wash up since both of us lived at work because we had such long hours. I remember he was perplexed by how to get these lego parts to connect when they had 3 connector studs on bottom and four on top.

I remember I asked him to show me the parts and the moment he put the legos in my hands I became
lucid, since I keep on dreaming about legos. I remember I used lucid magic to add a fourth connector stud on top and make it work. Spellbee was blown away by this.

    2. LD #17 Bored...

One of the most stable and least fun lucid dreams that I've had so far.

So me and...someone. Idk really who, but she was about my age and she was leading me inside this castle. It had a cathedral look and was entirely white. I was already lucid.
We walked though this throne room and to the left, there was a dining hall. The entire room was white, and there was a very large throne positioned at a long dining table, for like a king or something. It was flanked by four smaller thrones. The girl who had followed me told me to just sit and be patient while the court was in session.
"But what about having fun in a lucid dream? Flying?"
"There will be time for that soon enough."
I sat down at a table in the corner. By now the large dining table had several people sitting at it, and more people were coming into the room.
Everyone sat down at the table, and I sat down at another table, alone. I decided to work on stabilizing the dream so I felt some of the food and dishes on the table. I couldn't get over the fact that the dream was sort of blurry with the visuals. My sense of touch seemed active. I could discern the feel of a greasy plate from a clean one.
I was very restless that my precious dream time was draining away, so I moved to another table and felt a basket of flowers. Again, very active touch, very realistic. But the visuals were bland.
I decided to throw an apple at the wall. I wanted this counsel to break up and pay attention to the fact that I was lucid dreaming. Knowing there was no consequence, I picked a small green apple out of a bowl and was about to throw it, but instead it just fell out of my hand and rolled away on the floor. But it hit against my leg with another very active sensation of touch.
I started to look back down the hallway. It was getting darker, and the scene had changed from the large cathedral castle to my grandparent's house. I could tell that the dream was ending by fading to back, so I shouted out.
      "Let there be light!"
Apparently quotes form the god don't work all too well, because I saw the dream get briefly brighter until I woke up.

      A little added description:

The "king" man wore white armor and this spiky crown with large diamonds in it. I couldn't discern his approximate age, but I knew that he had either blonde or white hair.

The girl seems to match the descriptions of my dream guide, from my old dream journal. Even down to the apparel she most commonly wears.

I wonder what that counsel was about.

And here are some of the non lucid dreams. I typed these in later due to school...

I started out getting some explanation from this guy who was mining some rare metal somewhere in northern Russia. I can remember the whole dream scene being an ocean/lake, with some glacial mountains around it. He started explaining to me that the metal that he was mining was very chemically reactive with water.
He took a small piece and put it into the water, and it started to bubble and the chunk of metal was shrinking. He said that it got more interesting when there was only one atom of metal left.
The chunk of metal had started out at about the size of a golf ball, and was now about the size of a sand grain. Then it exploded into this huge, shiny perfect sphere, shrunk again. It repeated several times, and each time the sphere was smaller. It was over.

I was going though a very typical anxiety dream about school. It involved me walking out to the bus. K was there, and she reminded me that I needed to get some homework from my class.
I went back to the classroom, saw the homework on the desk, then went back to the bus. When I came back again, K told me that I still hadn't got the homework. I went back again, and saw all of the school buses drive out of the bus loop.
When I got back to the classroom the second time, It had become this large room that looked like an airplane hanger. There was one man sitting on top of a school bus parked in the hanger.
For some reason, my shoes were on top of the school bus and this man had put them up there. I asked him how to get my shoes down, and he told me:
"Believe that you can't and you can."
I told myself that getting my shoes was impossible, and sure enough, I teleported to the top of the bus. Once I had put my shoes on, the man disappeared and the dream scene changed. I was now in my neighborhood, up on the northern end, where my old bust stop used to be.
A sense of urgency, almost panic came over me, Like I was having a nightmare. I remembered what the man had told me. So I decided to not believe that I could make a sword out of a stick I had found on the ground.
      (Ahh, swords. My dream sign.)
This police car crashed into a house, and a lot of dream characters started running and screaming.
I decided to do a nose plug reality check. It failed for some odd reason, and I remained non lucid. I proceeded to try and make swords out of several more objects, but failed.

    3. Whose lucid is it? (LD #12)

by , 09-12-2012 at 11:16 AM (Lucid Time!)
By the time my recall picks up, I was already lucid. (My dream recall is worse than my lucidity. ) I was in my family room. The first thing I remember doing was talking with my cat.
My cat was actually a portrayal of my cousin. I can't remember most of our dialogue but we were arguing because we were in the same lucid dream and we wanted to know who would get to use their powers of dream control, and who would be a bystander. I eventually said to him that I challenged him to a dream duel. Winner keeps the dream.
I punched the ground near him. He ran away and faded. I got up and decided that I would go outside and try to find my guide or practice some dream control, since the opportunity so rarely presents itself.
I walked though the kitchen and towards the front door, my parents stood back. They must have realized that I was lucid and wanted to go about it on my own. On my way out the door I said to myself "my shoes are on!". I'm pretty sure it worked but it was kind of unnecessary.
The dream world was beautiful. The sky was nearly alien with two morning suns poking though the clouds. I can remember there being alot of flowers in our front garden. But one orchid was particularly beautiful.
I began down the walk when something started buzzing in my ear, like a mosquito. I dusted away from my ear. It was persistent no matter how many times that I swatted or dusted the annoyance away from my ear. My ear began to hurt as I began to slap it and dig my finger into it trying to get the buzzing out. I lost focus and forgot about maintaining the lucid experience. I woke up in my frustration.
