    1. Spell's Summer Comp Night 4: Bamboo Pool

by , 08-02-2016 at 01:13 PM (Lucid Time!)
I remember I was at nondescript beach resort. I was there for some kind of convention for Skyrim there. I remember making a daedric sword out of styrofoam and delivering it to the convention (don't remember where the convention was taking place, but it was this huge building and seeing the inside it looked like a school science fair, except everything was Skyrim themed, obviously.) I was going back to my room when I recognized the dream sign of being at the beach.

I went inside of one of the rooms and saw it was much bigger on the inside. There was a hot tub and a swimming pool. There was this rock formation in the swimming pool made out of brown rocks that had water flowing down into the pool from it. The walls of the room were all bamboo and wood. I think the bamboo was alive because there were branches with leaves on them that became the ceiling. Also the only light in the room seemed to be coming from the bottom of the pool.

I knelt down by the side of the pool and felt the tiles for some stabilization. I then noticed that I could see my reflection in the water. I somehow got the idea to bring Manei into the dream using my reflection. I tried to focus on changing my reflection into her, and it worked. The reflection solidified and she came up from under the water. She looked a little funny as she retained a few of my dream-selfs facial features, but it was her all right.

I remember the two of us stayed in the pool for awhile and we were talking for awhile (twas about something personal that I was meditating on yesterday, for offline DJ only...) I remember she was talking to me about the seven sins and desires, but I remember thinking to myself that I wasn't going to bother "taking that back with me" when I woke up.

We tried to make a whirlpool in the hot tub by walking in circles and it worked. We tried going the other way and felt the current push us for a bit, but it stopped. There was some significance to the circular motion of the current we had created.

I remember at some point I was asking her if she could touch the bottom of the pool, because I couldn't. I told her that usually she's taller than me and she said she could stand with her head completely out of the water. I remember looking underwater thinking of the dream goal to go underwater and look. (Forgetting that I was supposed to do it in a lake or ocean.) The pool was really boring, it just had a sloped bottom consistent with the surface. It got really deep in one end, I think there was a diving board.

I tried to think of dream goals I had set for the competition. I remembered one of them was to build a sand castle. I could go back outside and do that very easily, but for whatever reason I didn't do it. I then thought of the water-bending goal. I tried various hand motions but it didn't seem to affect the water at all. I tried more of a mental focus just moving the water with my mind instead of hand motions. I think I might have stopped all the waves on the surface of the pool, but I didn't ever think that I had really succeeded.

I remember asking her for help. She said she would show me waterbending and proceeded to splash me in the face the normal old fashioned way.

      "That's not waterbending."

She proceeded to spit a mouthful of water at me.

"That's not waterbending either." (Come on, this was one of the first things you ever taught me.)

I began thinking that the dream might be too grounded, too much like reality, and I'm going to need to introduce a fantastical element before I can unlock fantastical powers. I backtracked on my own thought and figured that Manei is a fantastical element, not real in waking life, and she's been right here for like ten minutes. Why isn't it working...?

A chubby guy with a big beard came in and said that I had won first place in the skyrim science fair whatever for my styrofoam Daedric sword.
He asked if I really made it in 15 minutes. I had only been dreaming for about that long at this point, and through some error of logic I said yes. He said that the Daedric sword was a level 1 sword and the easiest to get in the game but I corrected him saying you can't get one until about level 40. I started talking with the guy about Skyrim but realized I was losing lucidity, so I stopped talking to the guy and he went away.

I think I falsely remembered a dream goal to ask a dream character to tell me a joke and wanted to hurry up and do it before the dream ended. I asked Manei to tell a joke.

"What planet is the butt of every joke?" She asked it with a big smile like she thought it was gonna be a really good one.

"Uranus." (I made that joke up when I was like ten.)

"I can't think of any more good jokes, my tummy keeps grumbling. I'm so hungry, I could eat a birthday cake as big as you! The next dream is Bartholomew, i'll eat it there!"

I false awakened in the basement of my house. I saw a painting of a giant butterfly on the wall. I closed my eyes and opened them again and the butterfly was real and the painting was blank. It started flying toward me.

I thought to myself "It's just a false awakening, don't be tricked by it." I was about to stabilize and keep a good thing going but I lost the dream.
and woke up. It was 5:00am. I waited about half an hour for reentry but decided it better to just get out of bed.

    2. Dreamer Vs. Dream Guide (LD #166)

by , 02-05-2015 at 03:37 PM (Lucid Time!)
I dreamed of my old family beach resort. That is strange, I haven't dreamed of that place in a long time.

I was in my art history class. I had forgotten to do the homework. We still had [a large amount of time] before class to do the work. I thought about trying to do it, but instead decided to get up and leave class.

      ...

I somehow found myself in a martial arts/combatatives shop. They sold everything relating to fighting here. Guns. Bows. Swords. I remember seeing some of the weapons on the wall and thinking I wanted to get one. I knew that I was in some sense or another 'allowed to'.

The front room of the store was cramped with all the weapons and gear. I made my way into the back room that was almost completely empty.

I then ran into a group of about a dozen martial artists, proudly wearing white uniforms and black belts. They asked me how good I was with a bo staff and gave me one. I started spinning it around, as I did telling them that I've never had any formal training or practice with one. I just used to have a stick and I would use it for play.

They then asked me if I found it funny when I was teaching new students if they got [two similar stances] mixed up. I told them about how (IWL) I've been attending Taekwondo lessons for four years, and I still got [those stances] mixed up sometimes. Because I was making mistakes and open to learning I didn't find it annoying.

They didn't seem to happy with this answer and left me there.

Then the shop owner came up and told me that I was here because someone had challenged me to a fight. He said that he couldn't tell me who because my challenger had chosen to remain anonymous until the fight.

I asked him what the rules of the fight are. He told me that it was totally open. Any moves were fair-game. The only rule is I am not allowed to bring other people in with me.

He gave me a different outfit, a black martial arts uniform and told me to head up to [some cave] where the battle would take place.

I teleported outside. I became lucid around here and realized that I wanted everyone to hurry up and get this fight on, with all the short-lived
lucidity I've been having, there was no way we were going to see some action.

The cave was out in a snowy tundra in the mountains. The only way into the cave was a rope bridge. It seemed to be made out of these tough vines of some sort. I couldn't really tell. It led into a cave. Inside the cave was mostly filled with water. (Very cold water, since tundra and all) but there was a small platform, about 20ft around in the middle that the bridge connected to. There were a couple of waterfalls coming into the edge of the cave and a couple of holes in the ceiling where sunlight shown through like a spotlight onto the main floor.

There was another bridge that came from the opposite side of the cave. There were all of these people on the opposite side that were watching, including the guys that were in the back of the shop from earlier. It didn't take them long to send their opponent across. Some of them had even set up tents and what not.

So, you already know I was supposed to fight Manei, my very own dream guide. But I didn't know that just yet. (TBH I didn't pick up on it until halfway into the fight.) Because when she came across, I hardly recognized her. She had cut her hair short (not really short, just short enough to lay flat on top of the head.) She wasn't wearing her headband. Though I guess what threw me for a loop was the idea that Manei had picked a fight with anyone. She's always given me the vibe that she was something of a pacifist.

But the reason I didn't recognize her was the fact that her energy/aura that I usually felt seemed completely absent. It was strange, and I am still not 100% sure that the character that I fought was her.

She tried to taunt me into attacking first, but I remained quiet and motionless. Eventually she just charged right at me, winding up for a big punch right in the face. It was like facing down a charging bull.

I simply sidestepped and tripped her with one foot as she came in. I honestly did not expect that to work at all. She fell forward but managed to catch herself. She got to her feet ready to fight again. She went in for a couple kicks. I noticed that her form was horrible, she wasn't guarding her body and seemed off balance.

When she moved in for a punch I was able to duck under her. I was coming around to elbow her in the back when I realized that I was fighting Manei, and what I was about to do could really hurt someone. I tried to think of another way that I could end this fight quickly without really hurting her. I for some reason thought of how in Avatar, that one girl (Ty Lee was it?) can Chi-Block her opponents and paralyze them without hurting them.

I threw a couple of random quick jabs to her back and (Because lucid dream) it worked. Her right arm was completely paralyzed, hanging limp at her side. She came around with her left and tried to punch me. I grabbed her with my left and twisted her wrist around so that she was off balance. Two more jabs with my right arm and both arms were paralyzed.

I stood back and looked at her. Her hair was long now, but undone and messy. For some reason the dream became really detailed here. I could see every detail in her. Her facial expression, full of aggression. Her arms, that she was already starting to get feeling back in them. She was opening and closing her fists. I could even see her breath in the cold air of the cave. The cave itself became more detailed too. I could now hear the waterfalls and see little crystals inside the stone floor.

The fight dragged on for a few minutes of interlude combat. She didn't manage to land a single solid hit, despite giving it her all. I didn't land many hits either, I was being very careful not to hurt her.

After awhile, She didn't want to fight anymore, she wanted to wrestle. I put my hands into my pockets. She ran right at me ready to grab me and take me to the floor. When she got in close, I jumped back, and landed on my back, feet in the air. She jumped for me and I kicked her up and behind me. I heard a splash sound. By the time I got up I saw the spot in the water where she had gone in.

I began to notice that she wasn't coming back up. Either that kick or the cold water had knocked her out.

"Huh... man... that water looks cold!"

I jumped in and fished her out. Despite being fully lucid, she seemed impossibly heavy and I was barely able to lift her out. I managed to get her back up onto the arena. She coughed up a bunch of water.

For some reason or another, I had to carry her across back to her family. And my oh my, I wish I had a smaller dream guide. One of the martial arts guys came over to me, the oldest and most experienced. He told me that it was customary for dream guides to fight their dreamer at least once. He gave some reasoning behind it, but I didn't find it very valid, or think that it applied to me and her.

He also told me about how you might expect that most of the time the guide would win, but in reality it is actually about 50/50. In most cases it really depends on the personality of the dreamer/guide rather than their position.

The last thing that I remember was her little sister of about six years old (or who I assumed was her little sister) running up and asking if she was okay. She had gone unconscious again. I told her that she would be fine. The dream ended and I woke up.

    3. Peanut Butter Wars, Semi Lucid

by , 12-09-2014 at 04:48 PM (Lucid Time!)
Something to do with a new music building being added to my high school. It has all of this wood paneling and all of this bamboo growing out around the sides.

There was some crazy war going on where two armies were fighting over a supply of peanut butter.

The battlefield is this huge open meadow, surrounded by thick woods. There are a couple of mountains in the distance. The area sort of has a minecraft feel to it, though nothing appears to be made of blocks. I also recall seeing a cartoon drawing that was a map of the battlefield and contained the tactics used by the armies with drawings of cartoon soldiers killing one another. The map was drawn on very high quality parchment paper.

The battle began. One army was clad mostly in steel armor and used swords. All of the men in this army looked really short, and they all looked the same. They appeared to be the more formal army. [Dream Logic]They also had trebuchets that were launching large jars of peanut butter at the enemies that would explode on impact. The peanut butter was sticky and supposedly would slow down the advance of the enemy. [/Dream Logic]

The other army was a small band of tribal men with long dark hair who rode on horseback. They had a very native-american feel to them. They fought with spears and bows mostly. Although they seemed inferior in numbers their tactics and skill in combat was impressive.

Somehow I got into the fight. A group of the steel clad men came after me.
I became partially lucid. I started fighting with them; running at them and disarming one. I took his sword and used it to cut down a couple of others. One ran at me from behind, yet somehow I could sense him coming. (Partial lucidity?) I threw him over my left side, both stabbing him and taking his sword. Dual wield. I turned to see what looked like a lieutenant of the steel army readying a bow. (His armor was fancier, I assumed he was important.) I threw one of the swords and it stuck right in his face impaling him.

I then see a couple of the tribe men charging at me on horseback. I throw the other sword, that for some reason becomes a spear when I throw it. It strikes the leader in the leg and also injures his horse who falls over and the whole group trips over him and falls down on him in an almost comedic fashion. A couple of guys manage to get out of the confused pile of horses and charge me. I pick up another sword and get ready to fight when the dream changes.

      ...

Somehow or other I found myself in my living room. Manei was there, laying on the couch. And for some reason or other I didn't quite grasp that I was dreaming. I thought for some reason that I was awake and imagining that she was there. Something was amiss.

For some reason I still had a spear on me from the previous dream. I was examining it a little, and spinning it around like a bo staff. (Not sure how, though, the living room in our house is tiny.)

She told me that she was upset because she had gotten in trouble with her guide, and that she overall wasn't feeling well. I did my best to be understanding, but I don't think I've ever seen her not all happy and bubbly like she usually is until now. Not having the best grasp of dream/reality didn't help either. I didn't really know what to do, so I dropped the spear and sat down on the other couch across from her, and the dream faded out.

I wonder if I could find Manei's guide and talk to him/her. That's either a really good or really bad idea. The bottom line is: I'm getting somewhere, albeit slowly.

    4. Shark Slaying

by , 09-14-2014 at 01:46 PM (Lucid Time!)
I can't recall exactly the setup or motivations of the characters, but this is some kind of training or test to become an action hero. Today's lesson: blowing up a shark. Yes. A live one.
The setting is this lake. But there are these modular plastic platforms placed out on it that make a swimming pool like area. There is another smaller pool with a huge shark in it. The instructor, a middle aged man who's black hair I recall vividly for some reason, tells me to get in. He then gives me what I need for the mission. One Katana and one block of C4.
Then he releases the shark into the main pool and tells me to go. I take a deep breath and dive underwater. The shark has been starved so it swims straight toward me. I remember my training and that I am actually supposed to swim toward the shark and time it so that I go in without getting injured by the teeth.
I swim forward, very quickly and manage to shoot right into the shark's open mouth. The jaws close behind me and I am sucked down into the stomach. The stomach is a weird place. It's hot and there is actually an air pocket, but it doesn't seem like I can breathe the air. I still have the block of C4 in one hand. I feel for the button to arm it (it was dark in there. The only light was from an LED on the side of the explosive.) When I press the button I see 15 seconds come up on the screen.
Now for the hard part. I have to cut out of the shark. I remember in training when you do this, Ideally you want to do it from the side. I try to figure out based on how I am oriented what the side of the shark is. I cut through and see water starts coming in. Good, that means my blade went all the way to the outside. I make a wide cut, about 3 feet and then abandon the sword and squeeze through. This was by far the hardest part to do. But eventually I managed to push through back into the water.
There is a big cloud of blood in the water. But how often is it the shark's blood that makes the big cloud? When I think about it, the shark already looked dead at this point. I swim up to the surface gasping for breath.
After one deep breath- Ker-Blam goes the shark. A big plume of water shoots up behind me. I take a couple more breaths and the instructor says that I get a passing grade on this test. I ask the instructor about killing sharks. He tells me that the sharks are grown from clones and are mindless and cannot feel pain. This doesn't make me feel much better about it though.

I am now swimming in the lake outside of the pool area with a couple friends. The instructor is there too. He tells me about this skinny blonde kid who was his last student and actually died doing the shark test. Apparently he forgot the part about swimming toward the shark and getting past its teeth.
    5. Unfair Fight.

by , 07-27-2014 at 08:12 PM (Lucid Time!)
My parents have sent me to some summer camp for 'gifted' children along with my cousin E. The summer camp is supposed to teach us to use our gifts to fight demons or something. The camp is held in a remote part of Florida.
There was sort of a long chunk of time where I completely forgot about what happened.
We find a magical portal in a tent, and decide to go through it. I find myself deep in a jungle area and E is nowhere to be found. I come across this large aztec-like stone temple.
A number of dream characters emerge in a formation. All of them are wearing white robes. All of the men are playing drums and all of the women are waving large palm leaves around. A man appears in the middle who looks like the conqueror villain from the fantasy battle dream awhile back. He pulls out a large curved sword and challenges me to a duel. I accept. The dream characters form a circle around us preventing me from leaving.
It dawns on me a few moments later that I am about to fight this guy unarmed. One of the dream characters surrounding us gives me a knife. I think quickly and decide to try and throw the knife, but it seems to be stuck to my hand. My opponent slashes me and I wake up.

    6. Epic Fantasy Battle.

by , 07-03-2014 at 02:17 AM (Lucid Time!)
Setup: There is some conqueror traveling across the land taking over land and calling it his own. He looks like Genghis Khan and rides around on some kind of reptilian horse creature. His army consists of:
-His sorcerer wife that can raise a skeleton army.
      -Roughly 20 human lieutenants.
-Roughly 100 large ogre-like creatures clad entirely in invincible armor that leaves only the face vulnerable.
We are the native tribe looking to defend our homeland. Everyone in the tribe has tan skin and dark hair. We have roughly 200 warriors, mostly armed with spears. We also have roughly a dozen 'leopard men' on chains. They look sort of like Tai Lung (The villain in the first Kung Fu Panda movie) if he were a bit more realistic looking. Now I am not the leader of the tribe, more like second in command, or some high ranking position close to the chief who wore a large headdress. Every warrior had two blue stripes painted under their eyes.
We are hiding in the woods on the edge of a farm field. The enemy army is marching perpendicular to us, through the field. The chief gives the signal and we release the leopard men and run in. We expected to catch them off guard, but the ogres didn't go down by our spears. (Well nobody hit the face) The ogres kill all of the leopard men in a matter of a few seconds, and knock out a few of our tribe members too.
And about 30 seconds after the chief gives the order to attack, we're all running the other way.
I run back into the woods. I get about 50 feet in and see an ogre positioned in the woods.
"Surrender! Drop your weapon!" The ogre has a deep thundering voice.
I had a bow. I was the master archer in the tribe. I drop it on the ground. The ogre steps on it, breaking it. He laughs briefly.
So me and the remaining tribe members had been taken prisoner. We waited around for some time, and we were forced to watch the conqueror's army ransack a civilian town. (Not the home of our tribe, which was supposedly in a secluded location.) He was merciless and tortured all of his prisoners, including children and the elderly. I don't really want to harp on this, but it was the WORST torture imaginable, not by a long shot, but it was pretty nasty.
Then the conqueror and the tribe chief meet. The chief gives one of those numbers about how the conqueror does not fight with honor. The conqueror gives and evil laugh and makes a deal with the chief. If they can defeat his skeleton army, then they are free to retreat to their home. That or he can just kill us all now. Given no better option, the chief decides to take the fight with the skeletons.
So the conqueror makes this setup. He puts us in a square field with a large hill in the center. He surrounds the edge of the field with his ogres disallowing anyone from escaping. Then the sorcerer comes out and throws blue fire on the ground. It burns away all of the grass in the field and skeleton warriors bust through the ground. Thousands of them. The conqueror orders them to attack.

At this point about half of the tribe turns and tries to escape. The ogres positioned on the end of the field kill about 80% of the escapees but a few manage to slip by. Okay, there is No way we are going to beat ALL of these skeletons, we're outnumbered probably 50 to 1, and that was before half of our guys tried to escape. Plus we're unarmed.
Then I got an idea. I charged at one of the skeletons, dodging the arrow he shoots as I get in close. And do an epic kick of doom to his face. He breaks down into bones and I pick up his quiver, but his bow is broken from my kick. I turn to another skeleton. He is about to fire at the chief who is fighting the conqueror. The conqueror has a katana-like sword with a magical green energy conduit going up the side. The chief has a rusty iron sword that he likely picked up from one of these skeletons.
The skeleton turns to me at the last second and fires. The arrow just glances the left side of my chest. I don't feel any pain from the wound, so I charge at him and kick him down anyway. I pick up his bow and pull the arrow out of my chest. I turn to the one of the ogres and line up a shot.

And then my dad shouts 'I'm going to work!' and wakes me up.

Fragment: I lived in Atlantis. My mom, who had left me when I was a baby had just returned. I was showing her new building around the city. For some reason, Atlantis has an art deco construction style, Kind of like New York used to be.

Fragment: I am partially lucid and climbing to the very top of a sand dune. It is covered in cacti and other exotic plantlife Sand dunes must be a new dream sign.

    7. Trying to get back to lucid dreaming:LD #91: Semi lucid adventures in ... Skyrim?

by , 06-03-2014 at 04:14 AM (Lucid Time!)
My god this dream is groggy and fragmented.

Anyways I cannot recall the exacting details of what was going on, the surroundings were very blurry in the beginning of the dream. I was in what felt like the basement of my own home, but it felt larger and more spacious (That or I had become smaller). The basement slowly began to mesh with a dungeon looking space.
There were a couple of dream characters leading me away from some supposed danger. We get to the 'upstairs' that looks like an open tundra, just like Skyrim. But strangely it still feels like my own home as well. A kind of crappy groggy mesh the dream had created. Furniture was scattered about, and the hills and valleys somewhat mimicked the shape of the rooms.
Some attacking army came upon us, composed entirely of archers. They unleashed a hail of arrows. (Hey I thought those dream characters were leading me away from danger, not twoards it.)
I see one of the 'helpful' dream characters take an arrow to the knee. ._.
The dream started to get much clearer, and became the interior of my house. The feeling of the meadow was gone, but the general of the army, some barbarian and a handful of his archers were still present.
Manei (My dream guide) appears next to me, and just seeing her makes me partially
lucid. Also something weird, she usually has really long black hair, but it was buzzed really short in this dream. The workings of my dream guide will probably never be fully understood.
Anyways, we are ducking behind the kitchen counter and the barbarians (for whatever reason) are not merely flanking us. Manei says she can execute some spell that will take away all of the soldiers, but she has nothing to deal with the general. So she does the spell.
The barbarian general approaches. He announces that he has only one arrow, but that he will make it count. He fires it and it ricochets around the room bouncing off of several objects before flying past Lia, slicing the side of her face. It looked kind of like that scene from 300 with King Xerxes. (Hangon, I thought dream guides were supposed to be immortal and unable to be injured. I saw her get punched through a concrete roof by a giant robot and she shrugged it off like it was nothing. But an arrow, Kryptonite!)
So it is at this point she tells me that I am in
factdreaming. (Oh now you tell me.) Okay, so I guess I have to fight this loser. He pulls a pair of small axes from his cuirass. I merely stand and allow him to charge me. Once he is about 10 feet away...
      FUS RO DAH!
The barbarian goes flying, smashing the front door of my house. I look out the door to see him land and tumble around in the street outside my house. I am suddenly awoken.

I was in a large outdoor pool complex. It was wintertime and snowing. I walked to the very end of it and began relaxing in this hot tub. This girl that I knew in my freshman year of high school came over and started flirting with me me. It was kind of annoying.

I can remember being in this boy-scout troop type thing. It was cold and rainy. This one boy was going fishing by a river. I can remember the river being wide with a lot of rapids and turbulent water.
The boy stated that he was trying to catch a catfish. When he reeled in the fish and held it up, it was this very long eel-like creature whos head looked sort of like a cats'. I can remember it having whiskers and catlike eyes.
The boy then walked over by a tall wooden fence and released the catfish into a very small, shallow pond.

I had a false awakening in my bedroom. I decided that I wanted to draw a picture of Lia (My dream guide) But it was really dark in my room.
I started going around turning on all of the lights in my room. (I have three lamps, a light in the fan and a desk light) But for some reason all of the lights were dim. I began drawing anyway.
After awhile I looked over my drawing and was disappointed with the quality of the drawing. She looked ugly.

I was having a dream about playing minecraft with a bunch of my friends. We were mining some diamonds deep down in this cave. We started to head back up, but the floor of the cave started to collapse into pools of lava. I can remember running and dodging falling objects.
Eventually, the minecraft style dream morphed into a more realistic style. We had reached a large cavern. We all stopped and looked around for a second. It was silent.
This man in a robot suit dropped down. But the suit was not fancy technology, it was more like a steampunk mech suit. I know that's difficult to understand, but this guy had this armor made out of this copper-colored metal, and he had all of these pistons and gears moving around in very intricate ways to make this man move.
The man lowered himself onto the floor with this big chain. He then summoned a bunch of attack dogs to me and my friends. We all drew swords and fought off the dogs.
When we turned to the man with the mech-suit he opened these canvas and wood bat wings on his suit and started to slowly fly out of the cave on a jet of steam, screaming all the while. We ran after him, and reached the surface.
We could see him streaking ahead, gaining speed. We tried to chase him, but it was difficult because we were running though a forest and there were alot of fallen trees on the ground.

    9. D.I.A. #4 -Slew of dreams, Lucid Dream #16

I can't really put all the pieces together. I tried to WILD last night. A whole slew of lucid dreaming things happened including a lucid that I barely remember, a false awakening, and two additional non lucid dreams. Let me start with the least interesting and work my way up.

      Suicide

The first dream entailed me and my mother. We decided that we were going to "Go die" so we had dug two holes in the ground and acquired some coffins.
Then my mother said that she was going to carve a death note into an Ipad. She asked me if she could use my Ipad instead of hers. Then she got an exacto knife and started carving a message into the screen about why we had decided to die/commit suicide.
We went outside, and got into our coffins. I'm not entirely sure why, but I decided to get back out and have second thoughts about committing suicide.
I was just standing in the drive in front of our house, and started talking to myself about the decision to commit suicide. The my mother got out of her coffin and decided that she didn't want to do it either. Then I told her that I needed to get a new Ipad since she scratched a death note into the screen.

      Deathmatch

Another video game dream. Halo reach this time. It has been strange to me that video game dreams have stepped up their game and gotten alot more interesting and vivid recently. (Also strange because I haven't played Halo reach in almost a year now.)
I was literally a spartan. Not like controlling it or anything, like you normally would in a game, but my body was actually a spartan. But the game was still playing out normally. We were on this strange map that was sort of like a junkyard, with a dingy orange lighting to it.
The game started and I started looking for a way to help a the team. I saw a scorpion tank that nobody seemed to be using. I got in and looked back the direction that I had spawned. A wraith pulled between me and the direction that I had spawned.
I fired and killed it. Then a bunch of enemy players started swarming around my tank with energy swords. They were jumping around, trying to avoid getting shot. I realized that they were going to board my tank, so I bailed out.
When I got out, I took out my own energy sword and got into the fight. (The use of swords (though energy swords) still coincides with swords being a dream sign for me.) Unlike real halo, it took two hits to kill someone with the sword, one to break their shields, and one to finish the job. I can also remember the electric effect of the sheild being very vivid and realistic.
When fighting the first enemy, I broke his shields and killed him with two swift slashes. The second guy hit me from behind, breaking my shields. Our blades crossed and we pushed against one another. Then I killed him.
The final enemy, who was like the leader got in. I hit him and broke his shield, but my sword ran out of charge after the first hit. I tried to melee him again, with the sword hilt. He stabbed me in the chest, and the dream painlessly faded away.

Here are some images for the non-halo players to get an idea of what this looks like.

      Energy sword

      Terraskating

I seriously wonder about classifying this as a minor event. I will.

I was running down this highway, though a city very fast. I was lucid, but my recall was worse than my lucidity, so I couldn't remember how I got lucid. Though I was lucid. I can remember thinking about how cool this was, my sixth lucid dream.
I started to feel like my back was cold and wet.
I false-awoke into my room and the window was open and all of this rain and wind was coming and and there was a violent thunderstorm happening outside. Annoyed, I closed the window and went back to "sleep"

I'm not sure what to make of all these dreams. There was a lot of waking up involved last night, and I probably don't have them in the right order. I was on an extremely consistent sleep schedule the last few nights, going to bed just around 9:15. But last night, I didn't make it to bed until 10:00.

    10. Portal,Furious Five,Paper sword

I was Chell from the game Portal, and I was running though this city, I think it looked a little like Chicago. I can remember seeing the Willis tower and the Trump towers. I went into this brick building. It looked small on the outside but it was huge on the inside and was like some sort of museum.
Inside were all of these stands with information that were like ramps. I ran off of a few of them and went flying though the air.
At the back of the museum were the Furious Five from the movie Kung Fu Panda. They were all laying on the floor. Apparently, they were on some sort of quest but had gotten really tired getting there and were taking a rest in this building for a few days.
I told them I would go out and get something to eat. I think Crane told me that he wanted me to find a pizza if I could. I told him yes. I went outside and started walking around the city.

I was playing with my cousins in a yard type setting. My cousins are 8 and 10 years old. I can remember them having a huge bin of Legos and a sandbox.
I can remember doing some random things helping them build with Legos and just sort of enjoying our time together. Eventually I went inside. I think the reason we were all seeing each other was because it was my father's birthday.
I can remember I saw something on the table. It was a giant sword, made of a thick, brown construction paper. I tried to lift it up and it was insanely heavy. I put it down and unfolded it (It was like some kind of origami). And there was like some kind of radio or voice recorder inside of it. I think that it was supposed to be a present for my dad.

I still can't stop thinking about the importance of swords as a dream sign. That's the fourth time since I joined the site.
