That lucid felt really good - not only the flight, I had a sense of freedom throughout the dream. Woke up quite happy!
      Awesome!

      Hi Tihiti!
Michael Raduga is a Russian guy that has written a free e-book in which he treats LD and OBEs as the same thing. In his book, he has many induction techniques - with the first one (the indirect technique) being supposedly very efficient and easy. It is basically a variety of DEILD in which as soon as you wake up from a dream, instead of trying to remember your last dream and re-enter, you immediately imagine movement and if successful you feel the movement and separate in an OBE style. If not immediately successful, you cycle some imaginary separation movements (for 1 min) until one of them produces real movement - and you separate. For me, this has proven the most effective technique ever but lately my practice has been quite difficult due to anxiety - but I am working on it. Btw, entering this particular lucid had nothing to do with the Raduga technique ( except perhaps as an awareness maintaining exercise). And yes, it was a nice, memorable lucid !
Jade, you are basically right. Kids do get it much easier and I also wish my parents had taught me to LD. But that's not always the case. My 6year old daughter almost never remembers any dream - and gets annoyed as we talk about our dreams upon awakening. I have tried to help her, but it seems that she just wakes up very abruptly and she forgets everything...

Btw, my 8year old son is also learning to LD and yesterday he had his first well-controlled flight in a lucid!
I wish my parents taught me to LD when I was 8... It's so much easier to get good at it when your little. If I ever have kids, I'm gonna offer to teach them.

What's that about, please explain? I see he's written a book or something when I did a Google search. How you entered the 1st dream seems similar to something I'm reading and experimenting with.

One-by one they successfully try it (one also extended his fingers), so we conclude that we are all dreaming and I say: come with me to show you how to fly!
That's some good interaction with those kids!
      Great lucid dream

Thanks Jade! It indeed was special - and very enjoyable - to me!

I have flown with my own kid as few times before - and showed them how to control the flight - but such a massive RC and then flight lesson would have been be a first...

We reach a home and get inside, where in a large hall there are lots of kids asking me if I can fly and how to do it. I said: you first need to know that you are dreaming - and I demonstrate to them a positive finger-through-palm RC. One-by one they successfully try it (one also extended his fingers), so we conclude that we are all dreaming and I say: come with me to show you how to fly! But as we move outside,
Nicely done. The simple joy of flying in a lucid dream is often overlooked.

I had a lucid dream (I think it was over a year ago now) where I taught a group of kids to fly, much the same way you were going to do so here. Shame the dream faded out before you got to the good part, but all the more reason to go back.

And it was your 100th lucid dream. That makes it extra special.

Sensitivity was about two point above the less sensible seting.
I will unboxe the new RD pro tomorow and will start playing with the audio message option. It sounds very interesting and less limited than flashes and beeps only

      Hi Kaan!
As I told you, I was off-net and trials for a few days but hopefully I will resume the next days. Congrats on your success!
I see that you had the same problem like me - LD interruption by RD flashes.
What was your sensitivity setting? If we can't get this to flash in larger intervals, we must get the TWC feature working!

Don't want to flood your DJ, but I had another succes this night : 2 WILD, using RD with a little bit similar settings as yours, + the help of Galantamine + A-GPC. (it seams that A-GPC gives me chances to be successful about 2 to 3 hours after I take it with Galantamine, because of his slow Peak Plasma).

like the day before yesterday I accessed the WILD after a Non Lucid Dream followed by a micro awakening, and then a visual on which I focused and some touching things stabilization technique and here we go.

the first WILD was interrupted by the RD flashing and beeping and woke me up, but I managed to wait for an image, and re-entered to the landscape where I was just before the RD got me out of the dream.

the RD has woke me up several time, making me have several FA where I was looking for places to practice WILD, surrounded by some DC, so I finally lost my lucidity but stayed trying to have LD on each non LD.

Tihiti : RD is definitly a tool that can be exploited to help with some Raduga's based DEILD technique.
It can also interrupt your LD, so you have to keep quiet and try a basic DEILD.

I will copy/past part of this message in the Raduga's thread later

      Hi Tihiti!
What if I told you that this was my first ever real success using my RD....
I have it for a couple of years now, but only rarely used it and had almost no success with it, mainly because I found it too uncomfortable to sleep with (I used it the whole night up to now, and that was wrong). When used after WBTB however, and especially for the Raduga technique it seems that it can be quite useful. I intend to do more trials using it this way...we'll see!

Cool lucids and OBE! Do you find the number of lucids have increased since you started using the RD? I'm thinking about giving it a try.

Basically, it was your idea to use the RD for this, and I was inspired by your success - thanks for that.
I am also planning to use the twc feature next time because it kept flashing and bringing me back to bed...
Sorry it didn't work for you. I will also try and report!
(But I will be off trials for a few days and possibly off-grid)

      wow !!
I tried quite the same stuff this night with my RD in TWC mode 2 , with flashing, and sometimes beeping, kinda all the night, but this time I didn't manage to WILD.
      congratulations

Just an update on the "treatment": my shoulder is much better - not perfect but definitely much better (I had pain for over two months with no sign of improvement). This (and two more balls of lights in next dream) made a difference!

      Hey!
Like you know (I write this for those who are reading your DJ), I gave a try to this tremendous methode and It worked!
As I also gave a try (for the first time) to the combo Galantamine 4mg+choline 200mg, I had one of the longest and more stable LD of my life.
I have to precise that I have been struggling for one to two years for having a ridiculous little number of short and borring LD, so it sounds like a Victorious come back to the LD world for me.
Thanx again for having reminded me this technique.
If we continue to have success with it, we'll have to open back the thread about this particuliar DEILD technic.

      Hi Kaan,
I slept at 23:45 and woke with an alarm at 05:00. I stayed awake for about 15 mins and lied again with the intention to try the technic upon awakening. It took me quite some time to fall asleep again and I was in a in-between state. At some time I felt I was in bed again and started the technique right away: I tried to float with no success and then tried to feel my phantom arms move - they did and I separated easily, just like that. I felt a movement and I was flying over a valley. I know that it is not the exact procedure but it was the first attempt and perhaps the excitement that made it work...

      Congratulations for this DEILD!
And thank you for having reminded me this technic I forgot.
As you know, I just tried it in a nap (without REM stage for me) and strongly felt the potential of this technic if used as it is supposed to be : by starting from a WBTB.

could you please tell with more details what you did just before (how many hours of sleep before, how long was the WBTB, did you wake up naturaly just before the WBTB or with an alarm, how long did you wait for something happen and how many visualisations cycles did you do before the phanto limbs started to kick in ? )
