Great work!! I was checking in on the Task of the Year thread to try to get those back in my head and came across this excellent entry. Very nice work... the Hansel and Gretel task is so multi-step and narrative-driven that it's one I figured I'd procrastinate on until I'd managed a few more of the easier ones, so I'm impressed with how well you tackled it! I particularly liked the easy transition from "Oh yes, this reminds of this other dream that I didn't quite get to finish up on" to being right there in the scene.

This dream is hilarious! Both the Fabio transformation and the waterfall scene are great. Congratulations on Task of the Year and on a great LD!

I think it took the cream cheese hill to make me realize that yes, this is a dream and not something I'm imagining while trying to fall asleep.

And young Tom was a cutie! He's still cute, but he looks more mature without the curls. I was a little surprised to see young Tom when just yesterday I saw the latest pictures of him with his hair dyed black for a new role

I have to say I whenever I sustain an injury in a dream, it also just feels like a little pinch or scratch, never really hurts a whole lot, although I can not recall ever actually dying in a dream.

I wonder why she's bothering with this when I've just told her something important that she needs to take action on right away. Then I wake up.

DC's...they can be pretty wierd at times.

I must say that sometimes stuff that happens to me in real life finds odd ways of wirking its way into my dreams. I mean, yesterday I was riding my motorcycle and practicing wheelies and stuff. Then last night I had a dream I was riding and practicing no hands, but then my bike tipped and got damaged.

You had a very interesting dram there nontheless. Hate when you feel safe, then notice something though and you don't feel safe no matter where you go. Very creepy feeling...

Hmm that one seemed to change pretty rapidly. Shoe shopping > driving in a camper to an apartment and looking at whales > saving some lady by resetting a video game.

I seem to get those a lot too where I have no idea what or why something is happening but I go along with it anyways like it seems perfectly logical.

Haha poor Lennart. Have to say though, sometimes in those dreams when you have no control and it seems something bad is happening to someone, your brain tries to make up a story to go along with it. Maybe he was actually a car-jacker so it was a good thing you left him behind? lol

One time I tried eating a cough drop right before I went to sleep. (This was a few years ago) I almost choked on it so I don't know if it is a good idea to take those in the middle of the night.

Having taken cough drops at night when I get a really bad sore throat, I'm amazed I managed to fall asleep at all with it still in my mouth. Normally I can't sleep until I finish it.

But anyways, that was a cool dream. Did you actually get to exchange any words or was it kind of like you were just giving each other gestures like 'sit down and make yourself comfortable' type thing???

There weren't a lot of words exchanged. It was just like I got the impression of what she wanted to talk about. Then she went to make herself comfortable, and I got distracted by the boots. The boots actually stood out more than her! They were a really nice pair, not like the ones I actually own. I wouldn't be surprised if they were more of her style than mine.

Ahahahaha.... Wow, that was a pretty messed up night. I think my favorite part is the toys, especially the monkey.... Classic!

I met Lady Diana in real life. She is a really nice person who didn't deserve what happened to her. A real tragic loss.

Hmmm, I also seem to of been having a lot of dreams with natural disasters in them lately, although mine have mainly been wildfires. That was very interesting though, especially when you drove right through the tornado unscathed!

Yeah, that really surprised me. I live in Tornado Alley, and it's been drilled into my head since junior high that if you're driving and you are in the path of a tornado, the safest thing to do is pull over and take cover. Even if it was a dream, I surprised myself by driving right through the tornado!

Of course, I've never come across a tornado while driving, so I've never had think about what to do.
