Nope. I rarely, if ever, dream about stairs.

Hmm, do you think that stairs could be a potential dream sign for you? It's a pretty common one from what I understand and potentially handy since stairs are something you'll actually come into contact with in waking life.

I find these sorts of things easier to work with than, say, a dream sign where you can't stop hitting other cars when you drive (a personal dream sign I have absolutely no idea what to do with.)

CanisLucidus, the field wasn't from another dream. I just randomly realized I was there during the HI.

Great dream. I love this "package from the subconscious" idea. I don't blame you for wanting to get straight back and find out what's in that thing! I was one of those guys that kept hoping they'd turn the glowing briefcase around in Pulp Fiction and show me what was in that thing.

So were you going straight from another dream in the field scene or did you conjure the field up from scratch?

That's awesome! I've had that kind of thing happen before too, where I'm about to discover something really awesome, unlock a door, or teleport somewhere, but I wake up instead. That can be so incredibly irritating, but with enough practice, I think we can start getting to the good stuff before it's time to wake up.

Congrats on your LD!! I make portals that way too, by tracing a circle or oval against a surface, but it's pretty hit or miss whether or not they work. Just keep trying! You'll get the hang of it!
