If there are any evil entities out there, in the dream world, they do exist, only because they stay alive from our fear. If you tell yourself conciously, that you understnd this, and when in a dream, you will not be scared. You will be curious, but not scared, because nothing can harm you.

Send out signals and thoughts of love. Bad entities are not attracted to love. Say something like "only entities of my, and above my level of development are allowed to be here and participate. Only entities of light and love are allowed to be here. I'm protected by the light." bad entities have to listen to you, if you say firmly but nicely they need to leave, they will obey.

It doesn't matter if you believe in god or entities or any of that. If you say it and you mean it, it will work. It will give you confidence. If you think often about your dreams being under your control, this will start happening in your regular dreams too. You will see something scary, and your mind will make it turn into something else, something non-threatening, even before you have time to think about it.
