    1. Demons and Dragons

by , 11-23-2011 at 03:28 PM (Visions in the Dark)
This dream starts off very surreal and erratic like and I am viewing what looks like life size political cartoons on a amphlitheater stage. One image morphs into the next and soon the images are animated like a cartoon. There are many random images that constantly change and only one sticks out and it is near the end of this "show" which is a burly, orange bearded man who is naked except for a green leprechaun hat that he is wearing on his head. The amphlitheater dissolves and I am standing in a Medieval town with a circular shape. There is a park space of some kind in the middle, littered with what looks like ruins from Greek or Roman ancient cultures, and I am there watching the naked man with the leprechaun hat talking to some villagers. I am there, but no one can see me or hear me, not even the naked man.

The people of the Medieval town are mostly peasants and superstitious and they call the naked man wearing the leprechaun hat "the Joker" and are afraid of him. Many villagers run away and hide in their homes while others try to either scare or bride the Joker to go away. Instead of leaving, the Joker splits in two and creates a double of himself so there are now two Jokers. The second Joker looks exactly the same as the first except he is wearing an orange leprechaun hat and has a black heard, though otherwise he is also chubby and naked.

People's spiritual auras become visible and most of the villagers have blue auras and the two naked leprechauns have red auras. The villagers who have red auras are drawn to the Jokers in a trance while the blue aura villagers run away because they know that something bad is going to happen. Though no one can see me I notice that I have a green aura.

The first Joker creates a beam of light from his hand and makes a big "X" mark on a crumbling brick wall. This creates a portal to a dimension where only red aura creatures lived, which in the dream meant twisted and evil things. Monsters and demons start pouring out of portal in the hundreds and attack villagers and buildings in the town, though many also fly away, presumably to attack distant towns and castles. The two Jokers fuse together again and twist into a grutesque form that is part fat leprechaun and part scaley demon.

Admidst the stream of horrible creatures exiting the portal I spot a young woman, with a white aura, who is naked and laying on the ground. The demons do not seem to see her and march right on by. The woman is conscious and enticing a large shadow above the portal towards her. I cannot tell what the shadow is. I could "sense" that is was a mighty dragon, but the shape of the shadow suggested a muscular man. The dragon joins the woman on the ground and they start having intercourse, though the scene isn't animated and I see it play out in front of me as panels in a manga. The monsters and demons continue to exit the portal and go by without noticing either of them.

When both the woman and dragon man have orgasmed they disappear (and the dream is animated again) and a very large golden egg appears in their place. The demons coming out of the portal do actually notice the egg and they know it is a bad thing for them and they start attacking it. Even though the egg seems indestructible, I feel a strong desire to protect it and put myself between the attacking monsters and the egg.

I get hit by the Joker demon and I am thrown back into the egg. The impact doesn't hurt me and I do not feel a thing, though it was strong enough to crack the egg. A flash of brilliant light pours from the crack and instantly vaporizes any demons it hits. The crack gets bigger until the egg smashes open and a glowing white ball of light is left in its place. Hundreds of full grown, winged dragons, of all different colors, come flooding out of the light and begin attacking the demons until almost none are left except for the Joker demon.

The Joker demon reverts to his naked humanoid form and plays innocent, but the giant and mighty dragons surround him and prevent him from escaping. They seem to have an angry conversation, though I cannot understand what they are saying because the language is what I can only decribe as "reptilian."

I am guessing the dragons convince the Joker to close the portal because he does so. As soon as the portal is closed one of the largest dragons uses magic and skrinks the Joker down to a size so small that he can fit in the palm of my hand. This dragon then tells me that it is my duty to watch over the Joker and make sure he never causes trouble again. I am given the miniature Joker and I put him in the breast pocket of my coat. Thankfully he is wearing clothes, which were put on him when he was shrunk down in size, and he is visibly unhappy though seemingly resigned to his fate.

The dragons all fly away in different directions and I watch then until I can no longer see them on the horizon. The ball of light where the dragons came from fizzles out and only shards of gold egg shell are left laying on the ground. The gold egg shell turns out to be real gold and when the villagers who survived gather in the park, many of them begin fighting, often literally, over the valuable egg shells.

The dream changes a bit and I am in the yard of my first public school, standing on a hill and looking at what looks like a doll house sized version of the Medieval town I was just in with a friend. The school yard is full kids playing all around us and at the top of the hill there are some dragons about the size of dogs staring down at me and my friend. My friend is pointing to the minature town and mocking the idea that the dragons of the small Medieval town are in anyway better than the dragons sitting at the top of the hill, as if the dragons in the previous segment of my dream were not even real at all and it was ridiculous to even consider it.

      The dream ends here.

    2. Dream control in the cottage on the beach.

by , 10-11-2010 at 10:16 PM (Visions in the Dark)
The dream starts off with me in a comfortable cottage on the beach in a small town I do not recognize. The streets and houses around me are empty of people and I somehow know that I am the only human around. There are monsters and dangerous things outside and to remain safe I have to stay inside the cottage.

Though I never consciously recognize that I am in a dream, I know that I can do things that I could not normally, such as defying gravity and floating around and being able to see and walk through walls. For a short time I practice flying around and moving through walls before I risk a peek outside. The windows on one side of the building were boarded up or sealed so I had to stick my head through the wall to see outside.

The sun was beginning to set and darkness was growing, yet through the twilight I could see a large muscular creature that looked like a cross between a bull and a demon walking along the beach before disappearing either into or behind another cottage not far from mine. I become scared and retreat into the cottage, fearing that I would be seen and have an onslaught of monsters attack my hiding place.

There is a bit more to the dream but I cannot remember much other than that I am trapped in the cottage all night and by morning I have achieved the ability to become invisible after practicing all night.
    3. The Foggy Town and a Bus Crash

by , 04-04-2007 at 04:23 AM (Visions in the Dark)
There's a small town in the middle of nowhere it seems. There are small, one-storey homes built closely together throughtout the town but a thick fog makes anything beyond the town all but impossible to see. What vegetation can be seen is overgrown. Debris litters the street. Everything has a very "Silent Hill" feeling or looks downright ghetto. I'm in a large vehicle (a bus, I think) driving around this fog encased town looking for something or someone. There are people on the streets and they go about their business like any small, sleepy town would. They do not seem to notice the fog, or just don't care about it.

In the middle of the dream there is this scene that seems to repeat itself over and over (or I am unconsciously doing the same exact movements over and over) but everytime it starts up again there is different "background" music. I cannot see where the music is coming from. It seems atmospheric, almost like the music was born from the very air particles that I was breathing in.

I stopped the bus and got out because I was frustrated with feeling "stuck" and tried to find my way on foot. There was some incident in the street, but I have fogotten what transpired now. At one point I wander into an alleyway behind some buildings and turn around just in time to see the bus I was previously on run down and crush some poor woman in a pink sweater and beige pants (I didn't get to see her face so I don't know she is but I think it is my mother because of how she is dressed). The bus did not stop or slow down when it hit the lady and drove right into a brick wall, compacting the front of the bus like an accordian, and I assume, killing the driver.

At first I was horrified and tried to run away from the grisly scene, but then something compelled me back. I felt sick to my stomach when I returned, especially when when I noticed a group of people and their children approaching. I tried to stop them from viewing the horror, but I woke at about that moment and remember no more of this dream.
    4. Flooding, the sun and the little grey house (lucid)

by , 09-04-2006 at 08:04 AM (Visions in the Dark)
My third Lucid dream experience since joining Dreamviews.

The dream starts and I am in a stairwell with red walls, standing on a metal staircase, and there is water gushing in from somewhere below. I ascended the stairs until I came to a door. When I go through it I found myself on a fire escape about five or six storeys above the ground, which is covered in brown, rushing water. The town around me was flooded as far as the eye could see.

I jumped from the balconey to the roof of a builing about 30 feet away and it was at this point that I realized I was dreaming. The dream changed then and I found myself on a gravel road somewhere out in the country. I could see dark forest behind me and a single mid-sized mountain ahead of me. I started running towards the mountain but the sun began to set and it was getting dark. I knew I was in a dream so I attempted some dream control; I pointed at the sun and drew a line with my figure towards the center of the sky. The sun followed the path of my finger and it was noon again, as I seemed to have moved time backwards. This is only the second time I have ever been successful at trying to control something in my dreams, and like the first experience, it involved moving the flow of time backwards.

I contined towards the mountain and saw that there were several houses at the base and on the slope. Some of the houses looked abandoned while others looked brand new. The first house that I went up to was dilapatated and when I pushed open the door I could see huge cobwebs all throughout the inside. I went to the next house and there where lights on, but no one answered the door. I passed several other houses until I came to a little grey one where I could hear the voices of a man and a woman on the inside, yet they fell silent and did not answer the door when I knocked. I remember thinking that if anyone answered the door that I would try to use my dream control to kill them for fun, but just at this moment an alarm clock went off in real life and woke me up.

I find it funny that I could move the sun with my dream control, but did not think about forcing the door down at the little grey house.
    5. Pirate Gang in the Wharf Town

by , 06-21-2006 at 11:39 AM (Visions in the Dark)
There are several old "tall ships" lined up along a huge wharf, which was the base of a Gang (they all looked like stereotypical, scruffy pirates). There were buildings in the middle that ran from the land all the way to the end - sort of like a small town built right on the sea.

There was even an alleyway that runs between many of the buildings. I looked like an oriental lady with a long dark brown skirt and a wooly tan-coloured sweater. I was with three men I do not recognize from waking life, and they were unnamed in the dream but they each had a distinct appearance: the youngest man in his late teens was blond; the man slightly older than him had dark brown hair, and the oldest man had fiery red hair and a goatee to match.

In the beginning of the dream, the three men and I were in the hull of one of the ships, even though we were not a part of the Gang. I think we were prisoners or something but I cannot remember now. Somehow, the four of us got to the deck of the ship and found out that the only way off the boat was jumping motorcycles off a ramp. The three men I was with had no problem with this but it took me a few times before I had the courage to take the motorbike over the ramp (even though it was not that big of a jump at all) - when I finally did it I was to short of the goal and almost fell into the water, but the blond and the red-head grabbed me and pulled me onto the wharf.

We avoided running into the Gang (who were patrolling the wharf but did not see us escape the ship) by going between some buildings and into the alleyway. The three men told me to find a hiding spot and stay there while they dealt with the Gang. Before they took off, the brown haired man gave me a small knife for protection and I hid it in my sweater.

I sat between some shipping crates for a while before I became bored and wandered the alleyway to pass the time. Just then a Gang member (who looked like an ordinary old fisherman) ran around a corner and grabbed me, threw me over his shoulder in a fireman's carry and started running. I pulled out the small knife that I had hidden in my sweater and stabbed him in the back. He yelped and fell forward, and I went flying into the crates that I used as a hiding spot before. I got up and went over to the Gang member, who was writhing in pain on his stomach, rolled him over with my foot and held the knife to his face and threatened him.

This dream marks the first appearence of several characters who appear often together in my dreams. The chinese lady I have named Chun-li. The red haired man with goatee is Walter. The young blond man is Trevor. The brown haired man I have named Vincent but he has only appeared in this dream as of yet.
