Congrats on your first WILD Steph!

I can't imagine, being in bed all "wow this blue blob of HH is nice, ahh......wait, *opens eyes to see yourself in the bed in space*.... WTF did they put in that drink?!".

Lol it's like this pranks of pushing the bed into the lake while the person is still sleeping, but you know, in space, and uhm you never woke up. Amazing how it feels you never slept, just teleported.

And they wonder why we love LDing so much! ùwú

Congrats on your first WILD Stephl!

Very interesting to hear that type of dream episode. I hardly ever get such esoteric visions. Very jealous!

Oh yeah, what a trip - the bit where I was the star cloud myself was indeed the most mind-blowing bit of it - too short unfortunately, but it felt a bit like being an immense flat octopus made of stars doing pirouettes - and this sprouting was great - a new feeling, this having a gravity pull in this arm, and I also felt I wasn't solid - alien and amazing!! And a complete transformation, now I think of it, but it more or less just happened on its own.

      Thank you guys for reading!

Oh ye. I didn't actually tell the technique..

Just.. Use your voice.. The supernatural background is immense. The logos, Kaballah come to mind out of the top of my head. And the cherry of the cake: Terence Mckenna had Machine elves say to him: "Use your voice to make an object"

Yeah - I totally agree with you DawnEye, nice you're showing up here!

I'm open to practices which involve a supernatural background, if they are practices which work, but as you know, Dthoughts, I'm a dry old atheist, sceptical to most anything from that direction.
But I do know and acknowledge, that certain practices, like yoga, are very effective anyway, I just reckon they are ways to play with one's own brain, developed by wise people having put a lot of thought and experience into it, but based on flawed ideology. Whatever - esp. what ever makes you fly, go for it!

I'm not sure if this would be a natural or not natural thing though because I have been getting lucid since I was really young too. I think it makes more sense for it to be a paralysis thing maybe. There are times when we are able to shout really loud based on my experience but if you get too loud the dream becomes less stable. Why would that be a natural or non natural thing?

You know what. I am feeling very tired and I need to sleep right now. have school in 4 hours. Maths.. Hate it.

I do have loads of things I want to say to you. Yes, I can relate. I'm just not sure where to begin or what to say to you so that you can actually make sense out of it. If I knew what to say I would have just written it down right now but I need to think of a context first in which you can relate. The thing is, my experience with vocalizing in dreams and in real life has a long history for me. About a few years. And I am beginning to uncover an interesting Kaballah/Chakra connection which is spiritual in nature. I am not sure how to make you understand or if you are open for it. All I know is that for me last night actually vocalizing in dreams took me some effort and I have only began to learn to vocalize in dreams since less than a year. The first time that I spoke out loud it actually felt like I was unable to speak as if I was a newborn baby trying to speak coherent sentences. Maybe that is the reason why speaking is hard on dreams. It is a learning process and a very important one at that. Maybe the only way for us to transport "permanently!" our waking life knowledge into our dream brains so to speak. I guess for some this comes natural. Hence the difference between a natural and ... well.. us .. !!

I never really thought much about the vocalizing problem but I think you may be right about its purpose. Whenever I try to call for my favorite DC to battle another one it feels like my voice is fading if I do it too loud. Or when the dream is getting all black and its changing my voice fades. Its weird but a interesting experience. Oh, and congrats on getting lucid. : D

Well yeah, it's real life, and then there are some things happening on here, which I'm not overly fond of, but I won't go into that, so please don't ask. Thank you for commenting on my DJ, sweet to hear you find it charming!

Vocalisation - yeah - my guess is, that it sometimes doesn't work, or it's very hard and comes out croaky, when I'm quite close to the waking state, which I was, opening my eyes into real life.
Several times I had this problem, once lucidly, and otherwise in normal dreams, while I slept next to my husband, and the next morning he told me, I would have talked in my sleep. I guess it is this, the impulse somehow gets through to my real body, and it can't do it properly, and such it then also feels and sounds in the dream.
      Can you relate to that?
My usual method is to rather think at people, or speak very quietly, well - usual, usual is rather me waking up around such a state of affairs. I try to do it, when I think of it.

And thanks for the motivational words - yup - seems one can come to a state, where they turn up on their own, without any activities irl, but you can't count on them. I've been LDing as a small child, maybe that helps, but when I compare to high activity phases, like while the comps on here - with work the frequency is much higher, up to every day, if I really take it seriously, which unfortunately I hardly ever do. My maximum was four lucid episodes in one night - that would be great to have naturally!!
So at least I can tell myself this, that it would work fantastically, if only...

      Happy lucid dreams to you!

Hey StephL, It's been a long time! One could readily say that it has been too long

Nice to see that you are updating ur DJ. Urs is always quite a charm to read I must say.

Hey I was just wondering since I had some identical hickups, what made it so that you coulden't vocalize to a DC? Could you explain that a little more because I think I might be able to help if u are having similar issues as I had.

Keep em LDs coming woman. Hope to see you progress even further. Who knows maybe we can both become naturals at some near point in te future

      Thank you fogelbise and ~Dreamer~!!
Yes - it was something special, can't wait for my next one!
Yesternight was darts and jolliness again - but tonight it's going to be a WBTB after a long while!
Going to try a WILD, these two German guys, unfortunately nearly nobody here will understand, made it sound so incredibly easy...
