lucidmats - about the time of this dream of yours, my "lazy" eye got worse. it's ups and downs all the time - but this time worse than usual.

she used to be my better eye - until my dad told me, back in 96 or 97, [by transe-atlantic phone call] he wa about to be operated to replace his eye lens with artificial one.
i felt my own eye got hurt, though physically nothing hapened to it. . my other eye got in charge, stoped being "lazy", up to this day. shortly after my partner's eye was severely hurt. but recovered later.

end history. now, reading your dream, i was a bit shocked - felt your throwing your eye to the wall as causing a pain in my eye. feeling as physical trauma, as if i have a black eye.
      but it's recovering ever since.

should i yell at you? thank you? you can always claim you have no clue who i am, and what do i want from you?

Nice work on the lucidity, Mats!

The technique I use to stabilise my dreams, as well as helping me to remember my goals, is extending the nose plug RC and taking a few deep breaths in and out with it still plugged. It helps to ground me in my body and separate me from whatever dream story I was previously following.
I spend that time thinking about my goals and taking in the scene with my other senses: visuals, sounds, smells (your nose isn't really blocked!), and feelings in my body.
This also helps to keep me calm so I'm not jolted awake by the excitement of the dream, although that rarely happens to me these days anyway (that tends to improve the longer you've been practising lucid dreaming.)

This stabilisation method is something that's actually been missing from my recent LDs. You've seen my older LDs with crazy length & dream control, and those are the ones where I spent the time grounding myself at the start. My more recent LDs have been short and uneventful, and I've gone along with the dream plot in a lot of them. I'm certain they would've been better quality LDs if I'd taken my above advice and made sure the first thing I did was some deep breathing with my nose blocked.

Good luck with your future LDs! I bet you'll have another one really soon.
      Are you dreaming now?

Awesome job, Mats! Sounds like you are making a lot of progress this month. Depending on what time of the morning or night these occurred, they may have been in the very early part of a REM phase, which means it can be sometimes hard to stabilize them. Keep doing whatever it is that you are doing!

Congratulation - especially on the "realness" of your LDs - something I really lack atm..

It is fun having dreams of being an agent...it makes me wonder where they come from. Olivia Wilde, sweet! I'd welcome her into my dreams! Cool dreams!

I like how casually you jumped years ahead in this dream!

There's so much sad/creepy content, but also some really nice stuff like the beautiful lake. Interesting mix of themes!

      Great recall, I'm impressed!

A few years ago, when I had one of my most vivid and memorable LDs, I started on a beach with a huge tsunami. I ended in a basement-like room. Great minds think alike.

Thank you! I am pretty sure it was the tooth. I thought wow that is definitely not supposed to happen. I think the SSILD caused a peak in awareness

      Congrats on the ld!

I wonder did seeing the tooth make you become lucid or was it a spontaneous realization with no apparent dream trigger?
