Great job getting lucid! If you have trouble with vision at first, don't struggle with it too much since that can create frustration and instability, just go along and engage whatever senses are operating and your vision should improve or kick in eventually.

Well, it could well be!!

His face had changed into a hideous wizened old mans. His features were all sharp, his eyes sunken his jowls saggy. He reached out to touch me with pointy old mans hands and I flinched when his fingers felt sharp against my skin. I sapped him away and picked him up and took him into the house.

Interesting. I wonder if the dream is projecting the fact that you are afraid of the passage of time, you, yourself growing old as well as those around you.

Sorry you've been having such a rough time. Usually if your waking life is out of balance/not on the right track, neither are your dreams. Just try and make changes for the better this year, and your dreams will respond accordingly.

Lolol You tried to eat her dad. XD Besides the creepy parts sounds like a nice vivid dream to have. Especially the part when your at the beach and the part where you see the wildlife animals.

That's my third dream in a year where I've Eaten Myself out Of Trouble... Odd! :0

Yikes! Hope you are not actually getting sick! I think it is neat that you had so many firsts last night as well--always neat to see our dreams doing something different. I also hope you have no more finger-eating episodes in the future--or at the very least, that you can use them as a good dream sign

Toilets are a big dream sign for me, especially things going wrong or a toilet not being available.
Have you noticed that happening a lot in your dreams?
Maybe you could get into the habit of doing reality checks when you go to the toilet in waking life. That's something I do and it's crossed over to quite a few dreams and made me lucid!

I haven't had many toilet related dreams - but two in a row is interesting!
