      I totally had to sacrifice all my previous dream recall in order to attempt the lucid as I spend a bit of time remembering dreams upon each awaking to get as many as I do - But happy I did.
      This has happened to me as well once like 5 years ago. Spent all the energy and effort into recalling dreams and remembed a ton of them, but didn't have any lucids. Then decided to let go of that for one night and focus solely on getting lucid and BOOM; instant lucid dream

      Gz! Finally you got it after your mega recalls! Good lucid, shame about the alarms, who knows how much longer it could have been too. Maybe you'll get more during the last night now

      Btw you do get the points for the things you did, but the Three Step Task stack bonus activates only if you do them in order (in this case starting with "Eat" task, you started with Teleport ). But good points still!

      Flying 15 -> 5p
      DEILD (you went back to lucid after waking up) +2 Points

      Thanks, I didn't realize they had to be in order for the 3 step task. I fixed the points and added the DEILD on the main page. Total = 40 now

      What did the donut actually taste like? I had a soda-pop once and it just tasted like water...but other times I've had chocolate and it tasted real.

      Well It tasted faintly like it should have tasted. It's like my mind knew what it should have tasted like and the idea of that was there just not very intense. Now another one of my lucid dreams a month or so ago (I tried concord grape pie) OK now That was AMAZING! It tasted so wonderful that I am surprised I didn't take a second bite. hahaha

      I know a lot of long time LDers have their own acronyms after awhile but whats FDC and MDC?

      edit: female dream character and male dream character. nevermind, that should have been easy enough to figure out. My brain was just potato.

      Nice technique. I will check it for sure
      Tell me. Are you doing something specific during being wake up or just take care of cat and recall dream before falling asleep?

      After I let cat in or out, I just get back into bed and usually just try and stay awake long enough to recall the dreams. I run through all the types of scenes that are my regulars....ie water, fishing, walking, stairs, male, female, what animal came to visit me....etc. I run through a list like this until something triggers a dream and recall usually then comes, once I remember one just thinking of that one another will often come barging into memory as well. Once I remember I either record or write enough so I have good recall in the morning to re-write the notes down on computer journal.

      Interesting enough, in writing this to you I just remembered another dream It involved water....those little bits of common dream scenes usually always work for me. I think I'll go add my last recalled dream to Day 3 --- so hey, thanks for asking!!!

      That's some awesome recall! I find I can usually remember a dream or two if I lay there for a few moments and I also find that often things throughout the day will remind me of a dream or dream fragment from the previous night.

      Nice recall Bro. How many hours did you slept?

      Thanks, I usually get 9 hours of sleep. However, I remember so many dreams because I never sleep straight through the night. I have a cat who has trained me to get up in wee hours of the night to let her in or let her go out (or both) So last nights dreams were remembered starting from before 3am again about 6am and then again after the final wake up. I never fall back to sleep until I make myself remember what I was dreaming about. And or try a technique as I'm going back to sleep to have an OBE to start a new lucid dream. Interestingly enough, I usually never remember anything right away, I lay there thinking sometimes for 10 or 15 + minutes till something comes in. Once one is remembered I'm usually able to recall a few others.
