    Rick & Morty Portal to Mount Olympus

    DILD #1:

    I was having a stress dream at a grocery store where I was trying to buy face wipes for Dreamer late at night. Two people cut in front of me and the cashier lady was quite rude about it, she let them go ahead of me and told me to just wait. I got really annoyed and left the store then gave the cashier the finger, once I was off their property of course.
    I realized this was too ridiculous to be real, so I started to fly a little bit while trying to remember what I wanted to do. I remembered my series of steps that I had planned out.

    I reached into my pocket and pulled out a silver flip phone, it was my old phone from high school. I opened it and tried to use it but it wouldn’t turn on. I pointed it at the wall and then woke up.

    DILD #2:

    I was in bed with Dreamer and we were talking about something when I noticed that there was a backdoor to our room. I was a bit confused, so I went to check it out. I opened the door and it led to this enormous grassy field. I did a nose plug RC and then started my series of steps again. I opened my pocket this time, stretching it out until it was big enough to see what was inside. I only saw darkness, so I imagined seeing my phone in it. Two phones and a….peanut butter and jelly sandwich appeared.
    I grabbed my phone and swiped the screen, it turned on and had the typical home screen. I pointed the phone at a brick wall and pulled an invisible trigger while saying out loud, “Beep, beep, boop”.

    A transparent, green blob shot out of the phone and hit the wall where it formed a swirling, transparent green portal. The portal was a bit smaller than I had expected so I ran towards it and dove in head first. I went straight through the portal and into the brick wall where I wandered around in the darkness. I felt like the dream was starting to end and I could feel my body waking up. I stayed still and waited for the dream to continue.

    I appeared on top of Mount Olympus, but it was very undefined and grainy looking. It reminded me of a partially rendered mountain from an old computer game. There was no life on the mountain and it had no texture, it was just gray all over. The picture zoomed out for a minute where I saw the words “Gods of Olympus” carved into the top of it in orange, purple, red, and blue. I came back into my body and started running across the mountain super quickly while trying to find some gods to do a ToTY. I jumped from peak to peak but I couldn’t find any gods anywhere, then I woke up.

      It happened two nights ago that I had a FA and nose plugged twice and the air came through both times but I did not believe it as it seemed I was awake. I was lying in my bed but the nose plug was telling me I was dreaming. Can it really feel that real in a lucid?

      Nice work with your old phone. They don't make them like that anymore . If the mobile phone company knew what you could do with it you would be a millionaire.

      Hahaha yeah definitely.

      I am constantly in awe these days at just how vivid and realistic lucid dreams can be. I am having a lot more dreams these days where I do a nose plug RC and can hardly believe it's really a dream, despite the evidence saying that it is. And like you, I keep doing reality checks thinking that I must have just messed it up somehow.

      Rick and Morty is awesome it caught my eye when I was scrolling down through DJ's. My biggest lucid goal right now is to use Rick's portal gun and see where it takes me haha.

      I'm sorry the shop lady was mean to you. It's funny that you ran away first before sticking it to her.
      Did my dream incubate that silver flip phone for you? Oh, and the verbal "beeps" haha!
      Oh man, I wish we had a secret garden doorway in our room!
      It's really cool that you're using Rick & Morty style portals, I want to try that too!
      I bet Canis will like the Gods of Olympus reference. Was it in the font from the game?

      Awesome Idea! I'm gonna try to do that tonight I think. I had been incubating places it could take me before but I love the idea of just letting it take me wherever.

      hahaha yeah, I made sure I was a safe enough distance away before doing something so reckless.
      Your dream did incubate that for me! AND the beeps! I think they really helped me.

      I bet Canis will like the Gods of Olympus reference. Was it in the font from the game?
      It was! I thought it was funny that my mind took the dream to that game. I guess it makes sense, I'm just surprised I didn't even think of that happening before.

      Rick and Morty you say? googled it earlyer and the pictures i saw look freaky i think i will give it a try
      is it from there with the phone and the beeping or is it "just" for dreamcontrol? Dreamer did this too but i didnt get it as i read it in her DJ.

      the portal thing really sounds like fun i have to try teleportation soon!

      Ha ha, nice summon! It's nice that you got 2x what you wanted, and a snack (completely vegan!) thrown in for free!

      Ooh, I like that you turned your phone into a portal gun, very nice! You, Dreamer, and some other folks have both been doing cool stuff lately with electronics /Photoshop/computers, etc. that make me think I should play with this more. I stare at screens for most of the day, so it makes total sense to take advantage of this!

      When I heard you'd gone into a brick wall, I was just sure you'd emerge with a fancy hat like Dreamer did!

      @RelaxAndDream - Rick and Morty is wonderful dream material, they explore such cool worlds and have really neat ideas.
      The beeping is "just" for dream control.
      I was doing it because Dreamer did it and I thought it might help me get into the task at hand better.
      Sometimes when I get into being more playful in my dreams, I'm able to do cooler stuff with dream control more easily. I don't know why it's like that for me!
      One thing I've noticed is that if I pretend that I'm putting on a show for DCs in a dream, as though it is as part of a theater production, then I can do just about anything that I want without much effort on my part.

      @CanisLucidus - I don't know what it is about using electronics in dreams, but they can really help me to make unusual stuff like portals. I have struggled a lot in the past to make portals with my hands, even when I draw them and then push on the surface like Dreamer does. It was super easy to do it with an electronic device though. Maybe it's because I'm taking the pressure of the dream control off myself and putting it onto something else.

      Ahahahahaha I loved that part of her dream as well. I really started cracking up when she was telling me about it.

      I actually had another NL "Gods of Olympus" dream last night where Dreamer and I were testing the game with you. I think it might have been my first NLD where we were with you in person.
