    1. First Lucid Dream - Sunset World

      by , 11-24-2014 at 10:41 PM
Edit: There will be many edits as more of the dream comes back to me. I will just add them in.

I have had partial lucids before, but none were really very good. They all either lasted like 1 second or I wasn't lucid enough to even know it was a dream. This one could have been better, but I would say it was pretty good.

The entire dream, and I think all of my dreams during the night, were at sunset. Everything seemed to glow a beautiful orange, from the rocks to the trees.

Throughout the night I had several times where I became semi-lucid. At one point, I was on treacherous ground of some sort. I made a false step and started sliding extremely quickly. I couldn't stop myself and before I knew it I flew off a cliff, and it was quite a fall (this is one of my dream/nightmare trends). In my dreams my logic is usually very impaired but my feelings towards danger are entirely real, and I experience them just as I do in real life. So you can imagine I was very scared.

As I started to fall I realized "THIS IS A DREAM. I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT.". I hit the ground and was fine. I was really excited and the dream started to destabilize. Everything got blurry, and I got super dizzy. I felt like it was collapsing. I tried observing the scene around me but it didn't work. I remembered a trick that I read about in a dream journal - pulling a coin from my pocket. I reached and at first I only felt lint, but then my finger brushed a coin. I stared at it and focused on all its features. The dream formed around me again.

I know I wasn't fully 100% lucid, just enough to know I was dreaming and stuff. So the rest is a bit blurry because I think I lost lucidity for awhile and was just wandering around.

At one point it was daytime again, but there was a huge storm blowing in. I just wanted it to be a beautiful summer day. I turned away from the storm front, and said out loud "when I turn around those clouds will be gone". They were, but more thunderheads had appeared in different places. I tried for awhile, and eventually it mostly worked. I remembered those beautiful summer days I had when I was younger and I felt really sad for awhile. I decided to go to my house.

I realized I was hungry and wanted to ask my mom for food. I was really excited because I knew I could have anything for dinner because it was a dream. I told my mom I wanted a huge steak and soda and milkshakes and burritos and spaghetti and sushi and a ton of other dishes. I knew I wasn't confined by the limits of a real stomach. Unfortunately she told me she wasn't making that stuff and made some weird stew instead. It was really good, and as I was eating it I was trying to think of a way to get more food. Summoning things hadn't worked super well for me so far.

I think my alarm woke me up after this.

    2. Platoon Leader

      by , 10-24-2014 at 06:11 PM
I was in some building in the tropics, I'm not really sure why or what was in it but I know we angered the (very dangerous) people inside and were trying to escape. At this point I wasn't really the leader, just a part of this small squad we were in. I opened the door to leave the building and these guys jumped out of the bushes with machine guns. My squad opened fire and somehow managed to get out, but I didn't react fast enough so I got driven back into the building. Unfortunately I didn't have a gun, but I did have a couch cushion that could stop bullets. However, eventually they cornered me and I gave up. I said
"Theres no way I'm going to win just make it quick and shoot me in the head".
Then I started shaking all over because I was legitimately scared of dying. He raised his gun. I turned towards him and shouted,
"FUCK THIS SHIT I'M NOT DYING LIKE A BITCH".
While I was saying that he started laughing and quickly unloaded 5 bullets into my chest, but I stumbled towards him, knocked him over, and ripped off the front half of his head with my teeth. At the same time my squad came back and took out the other guys.
I'm not sure what happened between there and the next part but this squad was now a platoon, and we were on the beach doing something military. Or maybe we were stranded. I don't know, because this part was a bit fuzzy. I was also the leader of the platoon. For some reason a guy went psycho and turned most of the platoon against me; it was kind of like Lord Of The Flies. Only this time, I shot him and they were all somehow freed from his spell. I had called in backup from the U.S. Navy awhile back, and when I saw a few ships in the distance I thought it was them. Until they started bombarding the beach. It was the Danish Navy and for some reason they wanted to kill us. What they didn't know was that we also had several ships with very high firepower. I think it was like 2 destroyers, a submarine, and some other stuff. Anyways, we boarded our ships and began to leave the bay we were in (we were headed for the Danish fleet). Then we realized it was not the Danish fleet that was bombarding us but a castle they had built on a small island. They had artillery on the ramparts. We went to the island and were working out ways to breach the wall when I woke up.
    3. Small Spaces

      by , 10-23-2014 at 05:27 AM
I had a dream where I was in some sort of event that involved fitting through extremely and increasingly small spaces. I just remember I would pass through one of these spaces and it would sometimes scrape my skin, and sometimes I could somehow make myself smaller and pass through easily. Eventually I reached the final "doorway". There was a small hole in the wall smaller than a dime. A girl walked up to it, put her eye to it, and got sucked through. I was a little bit apprehensive about doing it at this point. It may sound silly, but have you ever actually been confronted with a situation where you have to squeeze your body through a dime-sized hole? It was intimidating. Anyways, I put my eye to the hole and my body and vision started twisting and swirling as I went through the hole. At that point the dream ended. It was extremely weird though because my vision got distorted the same way my eyes got swirled, and I actually felt my body but it was all swirly. I felt my swirly body.

    4. The Moon

      by , 09-21-2014 at 08:54 PM
After the fire-benders had taken over the world (I was zuko) I was angry at them, and announcing that I'd had enough of humanity and I was going to go rule the moon, I flew into the sky by shooting fire out of my feet. When I reached the moon, it was not actually the moon, but a colossal mass of house-sized asteroids averaging about 100 yards apart. One of them had an abandoned medieval tavern on it. There were no signs but I knew it was medieval based on the architecture. I found a single bottle of sake there. I went to another asteroid and found that there was a giant bag of candy sticking out of the side, but it was actually a candy shop. I ate some candy, and went to the top of the asteroid. There was a table with two people sitting at it. I was now "lucid dreaming", even though I really wasn't. I was unconscious but my dream self was allegedly "lucid dreaming". I started talking to these two people and it freaked me out that they were dream characters and I couldn't comprehend how they could be figments of my imagination, they seemed so real. So I asked if they were real people and they told me yes, they were real people somewhere. I recall one of them told me to do a reality check or something, so I was going to break my finger but he said that would hurt a lot because the dream was so vivid. And sure enough, it was extremely vivid. So he picked up a plate off the table and told me to throw it. I said "it will just keep going, it won't fall" probably because we were in space, but he told me that it would. I denied that, threw it, and it fell. Then he explained something about how that was how you could tell it was a dream. I asked if I would see him in real life after I woke up and he told me that we didn't know each other in real life, but we would meet again at "the core" after "everything collapses" (or maybe it was after "the universe collapses" but I'm not sure). I am not necessarily a believer in the dream plane or any of that spiritual stuff but I think it is possible. After all, they seemed EXCEPTIONALLY lucid and real for DCs.
