    Flying Into Water

I find myself upstairs in a hallway, and I recognize M Street. I do a quick noseplug, breathe twice and I'm good to go. I walk down upstairs hallway and there's a faint yellow hue hanging over the dream scene. I begin clapping to engage senses and increase vividness. Noise doesn't come on the first, but sensations and noise come on successive claps. I continue a few more steps as I rub hands and clarity picks up. I finally reach the rail and get ready for some flight up and over into the first floor entryway. There are glass double doors with glass windows to the right. I notice a resort looking area in the front which seems to be a blend blend of grass, some parked black SUVs in a cresent driveway, and a pool laying beyond. I decide to make it interesting iand go to phase through the light tan wall to the right and remember my dream goal of the reishi forest. I figure I could try taking this route to get there. As I go to phase through the wall, I notice that I'm transitioning into a very thick, high viscosity material and decide to pull my dream body out as I don't want to risk losing stability; I decide to take a simpler route for the moment. I approach back to the glass windows, and simply jump right through to the next area. Instead of transitioning directly to the outdoor resort setting, I enter to another room with a glass wall that leads to the back of a resort area - now containing a large pool in the center with a lounge area surrounding it. I fly over the single dropped step in the middle of the room and through the glass. It's a bright sunny day out in the resort area, and the water of the pool is crystal clear with a hint of blue. I remember the dream goal idea in I had thought about: going into water/underwater. I've never gone in water in an LD, so I use the opportunity. I fly swoop down and glide across the surface of the water, sticking my right hand out and trailing it through. I feel a bit of the resistance and texture of the surface. I then remember hearing some LDers talk about going underwater. I want to experience it, so swoop up, then plunge down into the water, and submerge quite a few feet. I then want to see if I can see as I notice my dream eyes are closed from habit. I open them, but everything is a dark gray murky color with a slight hind of green. I begin to feel myself waking to my physical bodyand get up for the day.

Cool dream! For me, water is just like air. When I'm submerged, I continue breathing just like on land. I can see with no problems, too - though the scene is slightly bluish underwater. I've never managed to do it while lucid, though.
